¡Tuvimos una estancia estupenda! Nos recibieron con una cálida bienvenida y nos proporcionaron estacionamiento reservado ($10). También un pequeño desayuno con tostadas, mermelada, café y ensalada de frutas. En general buenas instalaciones, habitaciones modernas. Nos gustó mucho.

Hay dos edificios que dan a la calle al norte y al sur. Los del norte son principalmente dormitorios y están cerca de las vías del tren. Son relativamente ruidosos, pero las habitaciones, los baños y los espacios públicos son relativamente espaciosos y altos. Hay café disponible durante todo el día y también puedes utilizar la cocina del albergue asociado de al lado. La habitación carece de mesas, sillas y perchas. La ubicación es buena, a poca distancia de las atracciones del centro de la ciudad, supermercados y un centro comercial.

Aunque el hotel es un poco antiguo, es totalmente funcional y el ambiente de la piscina también es bueno. El edificio de una sola planta es muy grande y tiene muchas habitaciones. Si vives en la habitación más profunda, tienes que caminar un largo trecho para llegar al vestíbulo. El desayuno es normal, no hay muchas opciones, después de todo, es gratis.

If you're looking to explore San Jose, or have a basecamp for exploring the rest of Costa Rica, this hotel offers a great central location, situated right in the middle of San José. Good for walking to restaurants or shops in the city, or joining one of the several sight-seeing excursions which can be easily arranged by the hotel. The rooms are nice, though the decor is a bit dated. The common areas are also well designed for lounging while reading a book or getting to know your fellow travelers staying on the same floor. The breakfast buffet was fairly common for a hotel offering breakfast in Costa Rica, but good, and the area also doubles as a bar at night. Other amenities include a gym with free weights and a couple machines, along with two saunas, one dry and one steam.

¡Impresiones muy positivas! ¡El hotel superó nuestras expectativas! Buena ubicación, muy lindo interior, linda habitación, cafetera. Buen desayuno con productos típicos costarricenses, frutas muy ricas. ¡Es genial que haya platos calientes y frutas!

Superb hostal with great facilities, an excellent host (Dylan) and lots of small extras that make all the difference. Tea coffee biscuits and fruit provided gratis. Was able to stay in the room.2 extra hours to assist me in getting to the airport for my flight. Outstanding

Nos encantaba el personal y la ubicación. Tratamos del restaurante del hotel y encontramos la comida grande pero cara. Nos encantaba nuestra habitación, pero perdíamos algunos elementos básicos como una ducha y los dormitorios que se usan para encontrar en hoteles como este. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado.

Reservé este hotel para la noche anterior a mi salida al aeropuerto. Me sorprendió lo bonito que es y ojalá lo hubiera sabido antes. El servicio y la amabilidad del personal fueron excelentes, y la comida del restaurante japonés también estuvo bastante bien. El transporte al aeropuerto fue muy práctico; sin duda, me alojaría aquí de nuevo cuando esté en Costa Rica. La zona es bonita, pero es mejor ir en coche para desplazarse por San José.

Book only one night needed to be closed to the airport prior to leaving Costa Rica. I arrived too early to check in so I left my backpack in the storage and went sightseeing. Rooms were cleaned however my issues was with the cleanliness of the bathrooms I wish they were cleaner . Shower’s didn’t have any hooks or shelves and I didn’t have anywhere to but my stuff other then the floor. I found a very cockroach in the shower which was also gross. Bathrooms could definitely be cleaner and furniture could be less broken done. Definitely more on the budget friendly side.
