We had an amazing three night stay over Christmas. Shopping center next door for those quick items you need to pick up. Free bus service for all towns located in the Valley. Local Chapel with spectacular artwork. Ski slopes are 3. Min walk away to the gondola. Mr Benny and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on how to maximize the experience. If you are looking for that post card experience, Hôtel Europe’s views and hospitality live up to expectations. Can't wait to go back.

A disappointing experience. A few weeks ago, as I used to do every year, I went to eat pizza at the hotel restaurant. So far, in that restaurant, this has always been a delicious meal, which I appreciated in particular. This time, however, it became a disappointing experience. The pizza was burned, or rather, burnt on several places. I called the waitress on it and she first said that this was normal (sic). As I was very hungry however (after a though physical morning in the mountains), I started to eat the pizza. Halfway through the meal, the waitress came back (I showed her the pictures of the pizza I made) and said I could have asked for a new pizza if I had done so before starting eating…Afterwards I contacted twice the hotel management by email to inform them of this disappinting experience. Unfortunately, I received no response from them. An address I will avoid in the future.

We stayed here one night as part of our multi-day Haute Route trek, and it was really one of the best stays of the trek. The breakfast was very good with lots of healthy and filling options - very important before starting the hike of the day. The best part of the stay was the complementary wellness center, which included a massage whirlpool and some saunas. We spent about an hour there in the late afternoon and had the entire area for ourselves. It made a huge difference for our tired feet and backs from the past hiking days.

Friendly helpful staff made the stay a delight. Room was good, food at the hotel great. Nice restaurant balcony area with a lovely view up the valley. Spa was good after a long day hiking. Helpful recommendations on the hikes around the area and the weather conditions.

The resturant was busy with a good atmosphere. Unfortunately our meal was ruined by an abrupt waiter. When we made an adjustment to our order he was very rude in return. For the rest of the meal we were barely acknowledged and he just threw the food on the table. The experience made for a very uncomfortable meal where we didn't feel relaxed to ask for or order anything else. The rest of the staff seemed lovely.

The Hotel Europe is great for holidays with the family. Rooms are convenient, the hotel is located at 5 minutes walking from the ski lifts, and Zinal-Grimentz is a wonderful high altitude ski domain, where snow is never lacking. The spa at the Hotel Europe is wonderful after the day of ski!

Hotel Europe was an amazing experience overall in the cute town of Zinal, staff was excellent, especially William who was awesome from day one, food was great, rooms are clean (even tho they keep a traditional old chalet style), SPA area is new and really wonderful. If you’re looking for a relaxing, interesting down to earth experience this will definitely be the place to go to! I highly recommend the hotel also for a beautiful winter experience, it offers wonderful views with wonderful swiss experiences! Thanks again to the wonderful staff here and a big thank you to William for the whole experience!

An excellent hotel to stay in on our 4-day hike in the Valais! We were very warmly welcomed by the super friendly staff who had kindly reserved a place for us in the wellness area (required to maintain numbers). The sauna was perfect for our weary bodies - they just need a cold shower or plunge pool for after. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel (pizza and home-made ravioli). Breakfast was great, especially the croissants and pastries - only suggestion would be to offer regular muesli/granola (not just gluten-free or cornflakes or honey puffs). Pink grapefruit juice and local apple juice were much appreciated. Overall a wonderful stay and we would definitely return!
