A great hotel complex. Reception staff were SO helpful, above and beyond! Friendly and can communicate very well in English. A lovely walk to the marina from the hotel, takes a good 25-30mins though. This is fine but with young children it can take double the time 🤣, so, we hired bikes. The reception staff sorted this for us. It was a great bike rental company. Choice of three swimming pools but all are not heated. I’m a swimmer, after about 20 lengths I just got colder and colder. But fine for a cool down dip. My six and four year old did get in for a few minutes. They open late, 10am. I like to swim from 7.30/8am. So, if you’re after an early morning swim head for the sea. We had a massive apartment, it was fantastic. All necessities for self catering. Our apartment was clean, however, day two the cleaners were at our door around 3pm on our return from a day out. So, we told them not to bother to clean our room so that we could go into it. They did leave us more loo roll and towels. So, our apartment wasn’t cleaned throughout our five night stay, but where our apartment was so spacious it felt clean and tidy anyhow. Supermarket serves fresh rolls every morning and has a fair selection. Tasty fruit. There needs to be more child friendly facilities, like a play park, but the Portuguese don’t seem to have them like we do in England. Overall, it’s a basic hotel, but clean, pleasant and friendly staff.

This hotel is just wonderful, we had such a brilliant stay here. The Staff are friendly and very good at what they do, Julia in the restaurant is a whirlwind, nothing is too much trouble for them. We booked this knowing it was not a 5 star hotel but it far exceeded our expectations, the restaurant was superb and the bar, with entertainment most nights, was a great place to meet other holidaymakers. The studio apartment we had was comfortable, clean and well equipped with all that we needed. The cleaning team really take pride in their work and were quick delivering the extra pillow we asked for. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained and the swimming pool was clean, the area surrounding it pretty with plenty of sunbeds. The 3 times daily shuttle bus to the beach runs like clockwork. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, if you want a relaxing break with plenty of restaurants within walking distance or the on site restaurant providing delicious food this could be your place. We will definitely be back.

On the whole we loved it.disappointed with the apartment as it was so dark, very old furniture.on the plus side it had lots of space, lovely private patio. On returning home we checked our booking and had booked a superior apartment but that isn’t what we got. Vilamoura marina is about 20 minutes easy walking, the beach about 25 minutes. The beach is beautiful, the marina is picturesque. Lots of touts outside the restaurants, we preferred Graces which is only a few minutes walk from the apartments. The supermarket is a couple of minutes walk away and has everything you need.

We were most impressed with our one-bedroom superior apartment. If you look at the building from above, online, you will see that a few of the rooms have massive rooftop balconies. Ours had probably the largest of these and it was south-facing, with a sea view. I think, from the fire escape route map in the kitchen, that slightly larger apartment 81 was our only realistic competitor for the largest balcony top spot. Ours more rectangular. Theirs less so. We had four windows / doors into the outside space and all of these had electrically operated blackout blinds. The television had a few English language channels; Sky News, Sky Arts and some pop video channels. There were aircon / heating units in the lounge area and in the bedroom. The two sofas in the lounge would each have functioned as a single bed. The dining table was close enough to an electrical point and to the television for me to click away on my laptop while watching TV. The hot water was never in short supply and the shower was good. They brought us an unsolicited bottle of wine when we had a birthday during our stay. There always seemed to be people sat around the pool, although we were not amongst them. The staff were very helpful and checkout was at noon, which was handy. The key comes out of the front door horizontally, which is OK when you know that. There are two lifts and a flight of stairs to get to the top / fifth floor. The adequate local shop is beneath a nearby hotel, on the other side of the road to where the internet map shows it. There is a better Spar a few minutes walk away. The recycling point is just opposite the hotel. The thrice-daily hotel minibus down to the marina was reliable. The number 9 public bus can be caught to either Albufeira or Faro from a street away from behind the hotel. With it comfortably quiet around the hotel, it may help you to know that the walk up from the town is an easy one along the cycle track that runs up the middle of the dual carriageway. While I am definitely recommending this hotel, there are a few things that might be helpful to know: There could have been more electrical sockets in the apartment. The door handles protrude both sides of the spindle, doubling the chances of catching trouser pockets when passing. Self-catering; we found the kitchen to be poorly equipped and the knobs on the cooker to be unreliable. I don’t understand how the touch sensitive hob could ever have seemed like a good idea to anyone in any context. The kitchen bin could have been bigger; I didn’t even know that black bags that small were a thing. The bathroom could have had more than one hook on the walls and a functioning extractor fan. The shelf above the head end of the beds ruled out sitting up in bed. I thought that the fee to use the safe in our room was a bit mean when the aircon was free and the electricity not limited a by card in a slot. Take a moment, early in your stay, to flick through the apartment’s informati

We had a great time in Parque Vila Moura, mostly because of the time we were in the restaurant. We were well treated by the staff, besides the delicious food. The only thing I would point out is the needy of improvement of some facilities in the apartment.

Been before and know this hotel has good size rooms and facilities. Unfortunately the first one allocated was on the ground floor facing away from the sun so was dark and the balcony in the shade. We went to reception and explained that we need the sun and could we have a different room, we were given a lovely sunny room on the first floor and an apology! Can’t say fairer than that. The cleaning staff are efficient, friendly and fast, towels changed every 2 days, beds made and linen changed every 2/3 days. The restaurant and bar are reasonably priced, the lunchtime menu is first class. There’s a free minibus to Vilamoura marina 3 times a day. Although we were warned that there was to be painting etc being done during February and March, one star taken away. We will be back again next year.

These apartments are extremely overrated There is absolutely nothing to do in the surrounding area. 1 overpriced Supermarket. 1 Restaurant...expensive...basic chicken meal + 1 drink each...€50. The apartments are a decent size but are so old style...70's. We had 2 sofa beds to sit on....they were so low, it was had for me to get up, so I spent 1 week sitting on a dining chair....not good. The beds were ' singles ' but small ,only fit for children really....so uncomfortable. There is a shuttle bus from the apartments to Vilamoura but once You have seen the Marina that's it. Expensive Yachts /Restaurants/Shops. From the Marina you can walk up to Quateria...Nice beach and better value. Local bus service non existent....there is a bus runs from Faro to Albufeira...then back again...get this from the main Road...fare...€5.40 each , each way...which at nearly £10 a time is not good. Taxis from Apartments are expensive so download The BOLT App...very good and reliable. There are much better places than this...we were glad to go home.

Outdated photos, mouldy, dirty building broken furniture, dirty pool as their is no cover (my partner cleaned it one day) Staff looked, spoke and acted as if they are over worked and underpaid (which one member of staff told us is the case ??) No lift to villa room, no help offered to an elderly couple to go up 6 flights of stairs, told to drag our luggage across grass? Rude, unhygienic & unhelpful staff on the first 3 days, member of staff aggressively punched computer screen as it wasn’t working ? Repeatedly told that “all” the information we would need for our stay would be in our rooms, after being under-minded that it wasn’t due to lack of incompetence I finally received what should have been given to me at “check in” Repeatedly told by the manager and restaurant staff sarcastically “we were too young for the area and didn’t want to spend money”. ??? Extremely unsustainable food choices for half board menu 2 of the 8 options being liquid - starter - orange juice - dessert coffee ??? No room service on the 2nd last day? Very much felt out of sight out of mind, to be told by the “manager” we can’t lift the hotel up and move it ? The free bus shuttle service with bizarre running times (9am, this is when breakfast is served) 11am, 4pm to be bought back when dinner is at 7pm?) is possibly the only positive about the hotel at a push? Me and my partner go on holiday regularly in and out of season in the uk and abroad but this was by far the worst experience we’ve had. With the correct staff and management who give their heart to what they do this hotel could possibly have what it needs to then be a nice place to stay
