We fit five people in one room for two nights. We had two double beds and a rollaway bed in there. It was a bit tight, but it worked. One problem we had was that the air conditioner was dripping water, until my sister-in-law turned up the heat, which seemed to fix it a bit. The second morning we were there, we had the breakfast from the hotel pub. It was buffet style, cost $14, and was worth it. They had the usual bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns, yogurt, cereal, plus fruit cups and overnight oats. There may have been more that I missed. I ate more than I usually do for breakfast.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights. This was a great location for us, walking distance to the waterfront park, as well as two gift shops, a good pizza place, and a great cafe for breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and it was quiet. Convenient location. We didn’t eat in the dining room so I can’t comment on that. There was a small park and tourist info place directly across the street and a convenience store next door. We were happy with our choice!

This was a lovely historic building with a good location. The building itself and our room on the third floor was everything we had been led to expect. As an old building the climb to the top could be challenge for some, and we made sure not to haul our suitcases all the way up, but instead just unpacked the things we needed for one night. The room was clean and bright with uneven floors and a nice balcony. It was a bit noisy in the evening as every footstep in the hall could be heard I. Only one small glitch was that the toilet in the bathroom made dripping or running noises that were a bit annoying. Given that we were on the third floor it would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room, but we also appreciated that Coffee was available at the reception desk in the morning.
