"It's our 2nd time in Puerto Barillas. Such a beautiful place! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay special. We went on the boat ride, kayaking on in the mangroves, and visited the monkeys. And spent lots of time enjoying the hammocks and the pool! Highly recommend it."

"Location of hotel is just amazing. The views of the ocean are just breathtaking. Beds were super comfortable. Staff was super friendly. Food and drinks were really good. The only negative part of our stay was alot of bugs got into our bathroom during the night. We got someone to clean it up in the morning but did a terrible job at it. The hotel needs more personnel to accommodate the guests. Ordered food and drinks and it took forever to get. I understand taking your time but they literally tooks too much of it. I would definitely go back if all these issues were resolved."

"Recently updated, but the stay was very disappointing and uncomfortable . Issues: • Strong sewage smell on the property and room smells like urine which they tried to mask with strong cleaning scent. • Outdoor Hallway light is extremely bright and shines into the room all night. The room never gets dark and it’s very hard to sleep • No outlets near the bed. Only one plug across the room • Bathroom was not properly cleaned. Sink and floors were dirty. • Bedding feels synthetic and hot Overall, it looks modern but has major comfort and maintenance issues. Not worth the price, I would not stay here again."
