We really like our stay at Trang An place, the stuff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing and super fresh, we amended up eating lunch and and dinner there too. The garden is very beautiful and quiet, the rooms are simple but spacious. The stuff was also very nice to recommend on visiting the attractions, can definitely recommend this place

Ban đầu có đặt phòng có bồn tắm nhưng khi đến nhận phòng thì không có . Nhân viên báo đã tháo bồn tắm rồi nên hơi hụt hẫng một chút . Mọi thứ còn lại đều tương đối ổn

Super accommodation and very helpful staff. Sam was super at collecting us from the night bus drop off and then suggesting places to visit. Very peaceful location but close to most attractions. comfortable accommodation. I would also mention the super restaurant just a short walk away Chef Dung that offer a fixed price set meal

We had a really comfortable stay, lovely relaxing place and the owner and his brother were incredibly helpful. The food was delicious and the beds very comfortable. The location was perfect. We would highly recommend this place and excellent value.

This place is a small quirky retreat very close to the river cruises Lovely self contained rooms with a/c and heater Lovely big shower All that you would expect from a eco style lodge This allowed us to quickly and easily to get all the cave yours long before the buses turned up Sam has an amazing knowledge of the area and a list of prices you should be paying for everything around ( he will save you $$$) They have a basic restaurant if you need a feed but we did a taxi to the city for a wider selection

We stayed here 5 days, to really experience the beauty and many attractions of the Trang An and Ninh Binh areas. We were so glad we did; it was a highlight of our 3 weeks in SE Asia, including a very relaxing stay at Trang An Retreat. Our host, Sam, was very warm, welcoming and helpful in arranging anything we asked for during our stay. This is a small, family-run business and all staff were kind and professional. The surrounding area is spectacularly scenic and peaceful, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. As others have mentioned, accommodation is basic here - clean, comfortable and very budget-friendly. Food was quite good, if a bit limited. The spring rolls are delicious! Sam and staff speak English well, which was very helpful to us. They arranged a reliable driver for us on two of our days there. The stunning Trang An Grottoes boat trip is only 1 km away, an easy bike ride from the Retrat (they have decent bicycles available for free). I highly recommend this place for folks who want a tranquil, reasonably priced home base in the Ninh Binh area.

While exploring where to stay around Ninh Binh, we came across the retreat which is within walking distance of Tràng An. Our few days here were brilliant and we wish we spent an extra day or two here. Relaxing, beautiful scenery, friendly staff and good food. Highly recommend!

We were three nights at Trang An Retreat and glad that we didn’t stay in Ninh Binh or Tam Coc because Trang An is a delight. Settled beneath the beautiful mountains, The Retreat is family business run by Sam and others who work to create a perfect idyllic paradise. Around 15 spacious rooms with large bathrooms and bungalows that are cool and inviting. The shower and bathroom is exceptional. The Retreat is set among abundant fruit tress and bushes and flowers. You can set on your verandah late afternoon or swim in the spotless swimming pool. Pool towels are available by the pool. Breakfast is well presented - with omelettes or eggs. There is lunch and dinner and the fried pork spring rolls are wonderful. We didn’t use motor bikes preferred catch Grabs wherever we need to go to….it is the best way to travel. Sam and family made our stay a very special stay.
