Wonderful stay. Beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable. Id recommend visiting while you’re in the area.

Vicky and Frank are AMAZING human beings. I've stayed here many times and it's always a lovely experience. Beautiful decor, delicious breakfast and teas, smells amazing always, confy, clean, relaxing, stunning. Thank you for always making me feel so welcome in your home.

We loved it!! The house was so beautiful (especially decorated for Christmas!) and the hospitality was great. Our breakfast in the morning was amazing. The tea was really good too! Can't say enough good things!

Luxurious beds in spacious rooms with stunning decor throughout the hotel. It was such a unique experience. But the best part was the staff - so friendly, professional, and attentive. I can’t say enough good things. You MUST stay here. )))

This fabulously quaint, historic mansion turned B&B was such a treat. The space felt special and the food was fantastic. We look forward to staying again.

Cozy little bed and breakfast, however we only got the bed and not the breakfast. The kitchen was closed on Christmas Day. We were disappointed that this wasn’t mentioned during booking or that the price we paid reflected the lack of the breakfast experience. The host did accommodate our small pet and had 2 warm scones available for us in the am. The location was very festive and a lot of attention went into the decor. Over all satisfied but would have appreciated a cheaper rate or advance notice of the breakfast not being included.

I love all of the Victorian charm and elegance and the breakfast is always delightful and delicious. I choose to stay at the Mathis House any time it is available and I am in town. My husband loves it also. The owner and staff are wonderful. Just a wonderful place to stay. They really pamper you.

A special place, not comparable with other places. The equipment ist composed with a lot of love. But especially showering ist not so easy in a high bathtub with curtains all around. People are very friendly, breakfast ist served and tastes very good. If you love Victorian style, you should go there.
