We have always enjoyed staying at QT Museum Hotel. We were given the option to upgrade to a Seaview room on the top floor with an additional charge. Seeing it is a more quiet room compared to my booking request on the 1st floor near road traffic and rubbish bin area, I paid the extra for the upgrade per night for 2 nights.
Our room was not serviced well the following day. Rubbish bin in the bathroom being the only one was not emptied. The Bath and Shower gel was not replenished, we had to asked for it to be refilled. the cushions on the bed was still on the floor from the night before, the ironing board was still left out - I did not put it back as the iron was still very hot after ironing my dress for my conference that morning. The gym facilities was very tired with all towels being used and the used towels bin was overflowing.
I was very disappointed with my stay this trip, using shortage of staff since Covid is a very old excuse now. Systems and procedures should be in placed by management to ensure the 5 star ratings is upheld. No point upselling or selling more rooms if they cannot keep customers happy to come back again. This was not only my opinion but that of my colleagues. very disappointing!

I agonised for weeks over which inner city hotel to book for our overnighter in Wellington, and I’m pleased to say QT met my hopes and dreams.
We arrived to find the hotel in controlled chaos due to an International Rugby event, but we’re eventually warmly received by reception and made at home in the bar until our room was ready. We loved the pool and spa, the size of the room and bathtub, the art, the glitz and glam, the location, AND the excellent buffet breakfast. Would love to come again!

房間很大 可以自己做飯 餐具都有 家電設備齊全 類似一個小家 酒店環境很好 位置炒雞方便 距離博物館很近 旁邊還有new world超市

Nice property. Apartment studio room was good with lovely big bath and good size room. Not as seen in picture (smaller than photo) but it was ideal for our stay.
The art work at this hotel is really interesting - I enjoyed checking it out.
B’fast was nice but I was certain that the avocado on toast was from a jar (not fresh) which was disappointing.
It is a little dated and as a huge traveller I wouldn’t say that it’s “luxury” but it’s a great hotel in a great location by the waterfront, Te Papa, shops etc. staff were friendly and helpful.

We requested a late checkout and the hotel kindly gave us one. It was so much appreciated - however it seems this was not communicated to the Housekeeping Dept as we were disturbed 3 times in the morning by 3 different housekeeping staff knocking on our door and asking when we were leaving. We were trying to rest & sleep after a stressful period recently. Not impressed at all with this part of our stay. The remainder of our stay was great.

Excellent place to stay plus the benefit of all the art work in the hotel to look at each day. Will stay again. We stayed in the appartments side which was good and nice and quiet.
Location is great for Te Papa and the new events centre

Very handy to Te Papa and the wharf area. Supermarket next door. Nice room but needed urgent paint job. Patches of non matched paint on walls and ceiling. Nice staff.

Awesome art in the lobby and throughout the hotel. Very close to waterfront and downtown. Comfortable, quiet, nice amenities - we will stay here if when we visit Christchurch again.
