The Inn is called the EAST DART INN as of Feb 2023 under new management Mrs K Bennett & has it's own page. I came solo to use place as a hub to expolre Devon. Rooms were clean bright warm & beds v comfortable, towel toileties, tea kettle all inc, Housekeeping was very good too. Breakfast good hearty cooked with lots of tea & light continential too, was served in a lovely room away from the 'bar'. Lovley Evening meals served in the bar which was warm & well stocked with local ales & gins etc. Staff & owner were all v friendly & helpful, I was teated not just as guest but a freind too. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel In stunning setting. Food very tasty and all home cooked Rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable Karen and the team are so welcoming and can’t do enough for you Fab settling for walking or just taking time out Tasty breakfast with lots of choice It really it a beautiful place to stay and thoroughly recommended

Stayed in Postbridge for a week over Xmas. Came in most days/nights and the staff and owners were very friendly, the food and drink was excellent. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Cannot recommend this place enough.

No warm welcome. Manager sat at empty bar playing Candy Crush when customer asked her questions about menu, she did not raise her eyes from the screen. Food arrived at different times, last meal arrived as others had finished. Chicken in sandwich smelled horrible - reported to staff who took no action and seemed not to care. Side “salad” just limp lettuce, no cucumber, tomatoes or dressing. No apology or regret for appalling service, they seemed to be doing us the favour, despite this attitude we remained friendly and patient. This was not reciprocated. Overpriced. Would not recommend, definitely would not go back.

Amazing service today lunch was a dream and my spectacular sundae created by Alfie was a joy. The pizzas were beautiful and the crab special was delicious. I will definitely be visiting again. Beautiful location. The refurbishment is very sympathetic to the age of the building

Clean, comfortable room, friendly helpful staff. Good food, good beer at reasonable prices. If you want a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of life, it is the perfect place to stay. I would certainly stay again.

I’ve just stayed at the East Dart Inn - just myself and the dog! The newly renovated rooms are beautiful. Staff were really friendly, dog friendly too, good food, good beer and the most amazing full English breakfast - I didn’t need to eat all day after that!

Called for drinks having driven across Dar**oor. The owners have recently taken on this lovely old place and whilst making improvements, are endeavouring to retain the old world charm. The landlady is charming and welcoming and we have vowed to return for food or accommodation when we are next on Dar**oor.

Excellent stay as we revisited our old family holiday venues on the Moors and Tavistock. Excellent and good value food in evening, well kept pints of Jail ale, nicely refurbished rooms and games room pool, darts and excellent breakfast- recommend
