位置方便，房間比預期細，工作人員友善，經常到日本旅行，多次入住日本酒店，第一次有此衛生差體驗，晚上睡覺時，打開牀鋪，駭見懷疑血漬及頭髮在牀鋪上，實在太另人難以接受，如此污蔑牀鋪也給客人使用？酒店沖涼房毛巾打開時也有數條頭髮在毛巾內，選擇此酒店就是想有舒適體驗，本人感到非常失望

總體來説是乾淨的，但木質浴缸裏面有很多黴斑，不知道酒店怎麼能視而不見。因為評價裏都在贊早餐選了這間酒店，還不錯，但住兩晚的話，重複吃同樣的早餐有點單調。床很舒服。

Nice location with a small parking lot next door. Decent size of room. Good breakfast at the cafe. We left an iphone at the hotel room; the hotel staff contact us immediately and sent the phone to our next hotel free of charge.

The hotel is almost directly across from the train and bus station making it very convenient. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The traditional soaking tub was wonderful, since the weather was cold and sometimes rainy.

Great value for the price. Small room but in a great area with a fabulous coffee shop below with breakfast and coffee and drinks. Room was super clean and comfy. Nice wood bathtub.

The staff was so nice and friendly. Great cafe downstairs where we could get tea and coffee. Room was big and had a great bath and shower.

There are a lot of "supers" about this hotel: - Super nice design. There are a lot of hotels in Japan that are on the cheaper end of mid-range that fail in the design category, but not the Eph Takayama. - Super close to the train station. It was an easy walk with our carry-on, wheely suitcases. - Super close to old town and the various Takayama attractions. - Super breakfast and coffee/tea/cocoa station. The breakfast was more like lunch (panini, salad, and soup), but it was all freshly made and delicious. There was also a coffee/tea/cocoa machine that was available to guests from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. - Super convenient to have coin laundry available in the hallway. We took full advantage of this! If we ever go back to Takayma I won't bother looking for anywhere else to stay - the Eph it is!

One of the, if not the, best hotels on our trip. Hotel is wood accented throughout and the hotel has a new and fresh modern aesthetic. Location is fantastic and within easy walking distance of central Takayama and a number of good restaurants serving local food. Comfortable well-appointed rooms, super helpful staff, outstanding morning breakfast, not to mention the excellent teas and coffee available throughout the day. Could not have been better and recommend a stay here. Hotel can be a little hard to find because it has an understated entrance. Just a tourist’s preference but it would be nice if there were some English translations available for the TV remote and at least one English station available for news.
