I stayed at The Capitol Sydney Hotel for a business trip and was genuinely impressed. The room was perfect—spotlessly clean and exceptionally well presented. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. I honestly couldn't fault this place. The check-in staff were also very accommodating, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm next in Sydney. Highly recommended! -

A very good hotel for travelers, transit is very close, 1 minute walk to the departure door and to the metro, the train, I thank the reservation officer, and especially thank you brother Abdulaziz from Saudi Arabia, and the quality is good because he speaks Arabic, in addition to the hotel services, thank you again🌹👋🇰🇼 السلام عليكم الفندق جميل جداً لقربة من المطار 1 دقيقة واحد وجيد جدا لركاب الترانزيت والمترو مقابل الفندق كذلك ويوجد اخ لنا سعودي يدعي عبدالعزيز قمة بالاخلاق والتعامل 👋

Upon arrival the room smelled like stale cigarettes and stagnant water which was extremely unpleasant. I had to prop the door open with my suitcase to get fresh air in with the window open. I ended up going to the supermarket to buy carpet deodoriser and air freshener to get the smell out. I could still smell it when I left after 2 days. When I went to get into bed it was very obvious the bed had been slept in and the pillowcase had not been changed. I had to strip the bed and make it with what was left over with the sheet that goes over the doona. I know it was NYE and paid over $600 a night for the room, but wasn’t expecting the room to not smell ok and have fresh linen.

We booked this hotel for a short stay of 2 days and 1 night before sending our mom to the airport for her flight back to Malaysia, and then continued our journey to other cities for sightseeing. The location is very convenient, with a 7-Eleven, Woolworths, and the train station all within easy walking distance. Cleanliness was excellent throughout our stay—the room, common areas, and walkways were all spotless, well maintained, and very pleasant. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Highly recommended.

El hotel está en una ubicación ideal. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. Los artículos de baño, platos, tazas y palillos son bastante completos, y hay iluminación y aire acondicionado. El desayuno también es rico y sabroso. Puedes ir de nuevo.

Service was excellent. In-room dining was fast, and the food was very good and tasty. I had a problem with the room card and the gentleman on the front desk was very helpful and a joy to talk to.

Nos alojamos recientemente en Rydges World Square y, en general, tuvimos una experiencia encantadora. La habitación era grande y muy cómoda, lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera realmente agradable. A mis hijas les encantó, sobre todo por tener tanto espacio para relajarse. Lo que más aprecié fue la distribución de las habitaciones separadas para padres e hijos: nos dio privacidad sin dejar de estar juntos como familia. Esta distribución marcó una gran diferencia e hizo que la estancia fuera aún más cómoda y práctica. Sin embargo, el aparcamiento era bastante difícil de encontrar. Tuvimos que bajar muchos pisos, y fue confuso, ya que había diferentes hoteles compartiendo la zona. Una señalización o indicaciones más claras serían de gran ayuda para futuros huéspedes. La única otra decepción fue el precio. Reservamos la habitación por 584 $, pero luego nos dimos cuenta de que el precio había bajado a 510 $. Habría sido genial tener una tarifa más baja. Aparte de estos problemas, disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia y consideraríamos volver.

Poor service, poor attitudes, poor food, and a tired old hotel that probably needs to be revamped and get rid of their staff. Don’t waste your time.

Lovely, clean hotel with comfortable beds, pre-check-in luggage storage and located on the same street as the Victoria Cross metro station entrance which allows for quick, convenient travel to the CBD via metro. The only issues with the location is that it was hard to find at first as it was hidden behind a couple of tall apartment buildings and it's located on a steep hill, so be prepared to drag your suitcase up the hill if you're not bringing your car there. Otherwise, would recommend staying there.

Shouldn't ask too much for services, value for money ! Hotel is clean but no cleaning on Sunday !!!!! It's far from city centre, however it's OK with us by renting a car, the hotel provide free parking, so it is beneficial to customer.
