The hospitality is top notch! All staff were really welcoming and friendly. Plenty of activities to occupy yourselves and very nice property to be in - vibes and views wise. Overall a very pleasant stay and a wonderful memory

I loved the luxurious lobby and our room with a beautiful pool view. The beach at night is stunning, especially with the fire decorations. The location is very convenient, being close to the airport, and the food is also good. However, there were some issues. We called twice for extra towels and to replace a dirty vanity kit in our room, but no one came. Some staff also seemed to take advantage of travelers. For example, we had to wait a long time to get a refund for a drink we bought at the pool bar and could only receive it after repeatedly asking. Additionally, we tried to book an early morning taxi to the airport, but the staff claimed it wasn’t possible because taxis weren’t available at that time. Later, we saw a taxi at the hotel front dropping off a passenger. The staff then quickly came out to say she can book one now. Overall, while the property and amenities are lovely, service issues affected our experience.

Overall, the hotel is beautiful and offers a very pleasant setting. The facilities are well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxing. A special mention to the staff, who are always present, smiling, and genuinely willing to help at any time, their service is definitely a strong point of this hotel. However, there was a significant issue regarding the room booking. I had reserved a room with an ocean view, and the photos clearly showed this. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room set far back, with no real ocean view. After speaking with reception, I was told that the photos were inaccurate and that the issue came from Trip. Regardless of whether this is the responsibility of the platform or the hotel, this situation is simply not professional and creates unnecessary disappointment. For those specifically looking for a nice ocean view, this may not be the right place. The water itself is not particularly appealing, as it appears green and not very clear. Access to the hotel is quite unique, as you need to take a small boat (about one minute) to cross from one side to the other, which can be a nice experience but may not suit everyone. Lastly, if your room is located far from the reception area, you will need to rely on golf car to get around the property. Unfortunately, these are not always readily available, which can be inconvenient. In summary, the hotel has great potential thanks to its setting and excellent staff, but some aspects, especially booking accuracy and logistics could be significantly improved.

El agradable aroma al entrar en mi habitación presagiaba una estancia placentera. El turno de noche del restaurante ofreció un servicio excelente; el personal se aseguró de que nos atendieran con prontitud, tomó nota de nuestros pedidos rápidamente y estuvo pendiente de nuestras necesidades durante toda la noche. Mi marido y yo disfrutamos muchísimo de nuestra estancia en Smugglers, en especial del animado entretenimiento nocturno.

Its by the beachfront, great rooftop restaurant, spacious room. I had the suite and it had a balcony wjth a great sunset view. Housekeeping can be better, the bellboy ratu was very attentive though. All other staff okay. Slow elevator and theres only one. I would stay again for the restaurant and staff

Un buen hotel para una estancia corta, perfecto para una escala ya que está cerca del aeropuerto. La habitación es decente y cuenta con minibar, ducha con agua caliente y artículos de aseo. Tiene aire acondicionado y una manta extra. El wifi funciona bien. Aun así, conviene comprobar que el hotel haya recibido el pago para evitar cargos duplicados.

El camino hacia el complejo turístico es un poco accidentado y no hay nada cerca del complejo turístico (restaurantes, tiendas de conveniencia, etc.), por lo que deberá llamar a un taxi cada vez que necesite salir o comprar provisiones. La habitación en sí no es muy luminosa y los muebles estaban un poco desgastados. El complejo turístico está literalmente en una playa, por lo que es de esperar que haya bastantes mosquitos cuando regrese a su habitación, y también es complicado para los viajeros con grandes maletas llevarlas a sus habitaciones, ya que hay pocos escalones hasta la puerta de su habitación y el camino es de arena. Sin embargo, si está aquí para una estadía corta, creo que estaría bien que no lo considere. Si está pensando en quedarse una noche en Nadi y va a las islas durante los próximos días, le sugiero que busque otros alojamientos en el centro de Nadi, como el Nalagi Hotel. Cuando pasamos por otros hoteles como el Mercury Hotel, parece un motel también, por lo que podría ser mejor buscar algo en el centro.

I had booked the family apartment few weeks ago to attend my nephew’s engagement party 5 mins away at Bates cafe. Initially I loved the set up, space and first impression until night time when we returned from the party to sleep. The room that my mum was sleeping had bed bug on the duvet and we later on we could see blood stains on the bed sheet overhang. Mum had already got bitten by the bed bug and had allergic reaction for few days. Both mum and I are allergic to bed bugs and specially me. Therefore, I couldn’t risk sleeping on the bed. I had to move into the other room with another family. I was trying to reach the room service for some more bed sheets but couldn’t at that time of the night. While checking out I had speaking raised my concern and I was told by the checkout lady that they had fumigated just last week. That’s beside the point, we shouldn’t be paying to be bitten by bed bugs.

No major issues with the stay, and the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful. However, the hotel itself has clearly seen better days, and the aging infrastructure is starting to show. What was most disappointing is that the small details that usually make Mercure a reliable, universal brand were consistently letting us down. For example: Pillows were clean but desperately need replacing — one was purely decorative, and the other was so hard it could have doubled as a car jack. Door handle and its protective plate were loose. Broken light bulbs in both the corridor and the room. Towel rack barely hanging on. Fresh paint stains visible everywhere, including on furniture. Anti-slip mats in common areas (especially the breakfast area) were dirty. Hedges around the pool were untrimmed. Small rubbish and paper left around the pool garden and not cleaned up. Room service trays left in the corridor for over 12 hours. Arrival porch not properly cleaned. Individually these are minor issues, but together they create a strong negative impression. The hotel is showing its age, and it feels like management isn’t doing regular checks to maintain the expected standard. Small things matter — and unfortunately, they added up.

Helpful, happy and friendly staff who were there to greet us when we arrived on the complimentary shuttle bus that picked us up from the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the 3 of us. Very good air-conditioning. Beautiful gardens and surroundings throughout the whole place. Good breakfast provided and the dinner menu had a good selection and we enjoyed our meals. The restaurant staff were excellent. Happy, cheerful, and quick service. The pool was clean with plenty of areas to sit and relax or have a refreshing swim. The front desk were happy to call a taxi if needed.
