Secure accommodation. Helpful service at front desk. Apartment was clean and well maintained. Very close to the hub of all the dining and beach activities. Full kitchen facilities. Air conditioned with balcony access as well. Comfortable bed.

My wife and I stayed in a 1 bedroom deluxe room which was roomy, comfortable, and had ocean views from the living/dining room, bedroom and balcony. Bed was comfy.,and the resort was safe and secure. My wife and I have stayed at Breakfree Cosmopolitan before and we keep coming back. It is only a very short walk to Surfers Paradise beach, shops, supermarket and numerous eating establishments.

I will start with the location it is fabulous! Right on Cavill avenue tram station and really the centre of “everything”. The front door staff were nice. Unfortunately this is kinda where the good things finish. The room is so LOUD, literally everything that happens on the street you can hear. Buskers, trams, cars, clubs, arguments, laughter, sirens, council cleaning the pavements at 2am, etc. The first night there was construction next door til about 10pm and then all we could hear was bag pipes from the Irish restaurant nearby. The next morning there is construction that sounds like they are working in the living room it was so loud and continuous. Every night and day this repeated on our week stay. We could hear the music from the Steam Punk Bar down the road and the island on the opposite side of the road. It sounded like we were at these places. I couldn’t imagine how much louder it would’ve/ will be when the bar directly across the road opens where the Hard Rock Cafe was. The apartment itself was clean enough. They don’t give facewashers or pool towels. The door in the toilet is hard to close because it is so tight. We could hear rushing water and gurgling something with the plumbing through our apartment you could also see water rushing when the shower was on in the toilet drains and it wasn’t just our own apartment water running we could hear as we could hear it throughout the night. I think the renovations have been done by people who don’t really know what they are doing. All of the sink taps haven’t been installed properly and the kitchen sink tap would spin and the water would splash on the bench. The sink has a gap under the pipes to the floor. There is massive gaps in the electrical wiring that you can actually see the wires. I would NEVER stay here again and I would strongly recommend to anyone coming to surfers to avoid this hotel! We have stayed at so many others over the times we have visited and have never heard the outside noise as much as we have here.

Spacious deluxe 1 bedroom apartment in the centre of Surfers. Old but in good condition and clean. Lovely views of city and sea. Convenient and easy basement parking. Centre of Surfers means rather noisy at night, but closing the balcony doors solves this if a bother. Good desk staff but limited hours. Overall excellent value for money when under $150 / night.

The property was good for the price. However, the couch was falling apart leaving leather debris all over the floor. The dryer needed clearer instructions and the pole holding the kitchen countertop was broken and wasn’t touching the ground. Yet the rooms were clean and the view was good for the location. The amenities were clean and useable. Overall, not bad.

WE have great time every time we stay at The Cosmopolitan .We have been coming to the Cosmopolitan for about six years now so I think that says it all. The staff go out they way also to help you and that makes you feel very Welcome.

The room had badly stained carpets, holes in the walls, and a broken shower head. It was also had poor window noise insulation leading to very poor sleep. Needs double glazed windows. Great location. Excellent lady on reception.

Very good experience. it’s close to beach, shops, eatery, tram and bus services. I enjoy walking along the seaside. The apartment was small but serviced it’s purpose ( fridge, oven, washing machine etc)

Bathroom was filthy on arrival, there was pee all up the back of the bathroom door from splash back. The beds were awfully uncomfortable, they were like sleeping in a block of cement. Pillows were like thin cardboard and hurt my neck. Worst of all the whole hotel is next to the sling shot amusement ride which operates all hours of the night on Friday-Sunday and until 11pm Monday-Friday. So you hear people screaming and bright neon lights all night long. Everything in the rooms are white, the couch, the walls, floors, table, kitchen. There’s nothing homely or character like about the rooms, it felt like an insane asylum. We also were not informed that the hotel had a building site right next to our room and that work would start at 7am every morning. We booked a holiday TO RELAX and sleep in etc Not to be woken up by jackhammers every morning at 7am shaking our entire room. It was an awfully unpleasant stay due to the workmen every morning.
