If you are looking for a place with local character, this is a wonderful choice, though there are a few practical things you should know before booking. The Cons (Things to consider): The Location/Access: Because it is located deep within a narrow alley of the old town, large cars and taxis cannot pick you up or drop you off right at the doorstep. You will need to roll your luggage for about 400 meters to the main road. 🧳 The Breakfast: They serve a very traditional Chinese breakfast consisting of millet porridge, fried dough sticks (youtiao), and vegetable steamed buns. While it tasted good, it was a bit salty, and the menu was exactly the same every single day without any variation. The Pros (Why I still loved it): The Room & Vibe: Our triple room was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and the entire courtyard was beautifully decorated with a lot of taste and local charm. The Hospitality: The owner and the staff were absolutely amazing—super enthusiastic, warm, and helpful throughout our stay! ❤️ The Prime Location: Being situated inside the old town means it is exceptionally convenient. You can easily walk to all the major historical sights and the vibrant Drum Tower (Gulou) Night Market for amazing street food. 🏮🍢 Overall, despite the minor inconveniences with luggage and the repetitive breakfast, the massive rooms, lovely aesthetic, and unbeatable location make it a fantastic base for exploring Luoyang!

Beautiful accommodation with excellent service from the staff. Free flow drinks (take as you want), welcome and farewell gifts, and also complimentary teatime snacks provided. It is located near a metro station and walking distance from a few attractions. The only thing I would like to highlight is the listing stated that there’s a fitness room but there isn’t any actually.

The front desk staff, the housekeeping and dining room 阿姨 are exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations and seamless service. The breakfast buffet is a standout, featuring a delicious mix of Chinese and Western options to start the day right. Another plus for Atour is the 夜宵 with 粥 and other Chinese light food which is a very good end after a long day travel. Overall, Atour Hotel delivers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality, making it a top pick for anyone visiting Luoyang.

The location is great, walkable to both the old railway station and long distance bus station. Tons of local restaurants and stores are right downstairs. The room is very clean and decorated with a modern style, equipped with a big TV. The breakfast included is typical with many choices, and some local specialty food like beef soup, hula soup. Although located in the downtown area, the hotel is actually pretty quiet inside. We also like the roof garden very much. It has a live bamboo wall and a couple of pavilions, excellent for resting and light exercises.

Hace poco nos alojamos en un hotel cerca de las Grutas de Yongmen y tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa. La recepcionista, la Sra. La ubicación es increíble, a solo 5 minutos andando de la Puerta Yingtian y justo al lado de la estación de metro de Lijinmen. La habitación es limpia e inteligente, el control de luces con Xiaodu es súper cómodo. El desayuno incluye una auténtica sopa de ternera y el servicio de recepción es excelente. Si vienes en coche, tienen parking gratuito. Si vienes a Luoyang, esta es la mejor opción. ¡Lo recomiendo muchísimo! El servicio de recepción es muy bueno.

The room was a little bit dirty, but okay. Really liked the staff and service! I can see they care about guests and as a foreigners we felt very comfortable at this place. My friend says she was not satisfied with the breakfast because it was mostly a Chinese traditional one, not the western type that we’re used to. I think it had many different options, so I would say I liked it! I’m recommending this place!
