I had a very nice stay at The Kufri House in Fagu village. Manager Sunil is very friendly. Location is very good, not far from the main highway. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Good breakfast (if you book including breakfast you will get an aalu parantha, an omelet and a coffee/tea served, very tasty!) View from balcony are beautiful. Only it might get a little noisy, because rooms face directly the common area/reception/kitchen, not soundproof. But otherwise a very nice stay and I recommend it! Thank you.

El hotel Taj View es un gran hotel con un buen presupuesto. La habitación es muy buena y cómoda. El personal es muy amable, especialmente Vijay y Ritik Rajput en la recepción. La vista del hotel es increíble, realmente tan hermosa! El baño tiene una hermosa ducha caliente y hay una mesa con asientos en la habitación. Recomiendo muy bien Hotel Taj View a todos los viajeros! Food is good with a really nice view at the dining area. Staff is also very friendly.

Going there by car is not easy, you need to come frome the back, make sure this is sorted out with your transfer. Otherwise go to the ridge and walk the hill up for 5 min, but sou need to be a good walker. Upgrading to the bigger room was good. There is no AC and heating is charged extra. :( We booked with breakfast but it did not show at their booking. We managed to solve the issue.

El hotel está situado en una zona muy tranquila, muy tranquila y muy confortable. La comida era buena, optamos por el desayuno y el paquete de cena, así que nos disfrutamos de todo. Teníamos agua caliente en el baño para el baño como y cuando se necesitaba que era delicioso. En general fue un 10/10 para nosotros. Personal de restaurante si super acomodable y útil. Mantenga el buen servicio.

This is a 3-star hotel with a good location. It is just 600 meters from mall road, 800 meters from the railway station, and 200 meters from the old bus stand. The service and staff interaction were satisfactory. The hotel food is tasty and of good quality. The rooms and washrooms are very clean and comfortable. Please note that for room heating (via a blower, there is an additional charge of 590 rupees per day. Hot water is available only at specific times (7 am to 11 am and 6 pm to 10 pm. Since we checked in late at night, they kindly turned on the water heater for one hour upon our request. For a 1-liter bottle of water (mrp 20 rupees, we were charged 60 rupees, which is significantly higher than the mrp. The rate of rs. 2200 per day (during the off-season) for a double room seems reasonable and acceptable. The hotel also assists with cab bookings through their contacts, which was very helpful for us.

The location of Hotel Prestige is excellent, being conveniently situated near the lift and providing easy access to Mall Road. To reach this hotel you need to take lift and The Lift is famous stopby where many cabs and local buses (including electric) stops here. You can take lift to reach this hotel but the lift works between 10am to 6pm around so keep in mind otherwise you'll have to give 100 or 200 rupees to kuli for carrying the luggage. This makes it a great choice for travelers looking to explore the main attractions of Shimla without much hassle. However, the internet connection was a major drawback during my stay. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, making it challenging to stay connected or get any work done online. I had to rely on mobile data throughout my stay, which was inconvenient. If the internet issue is addressed, this hotel would be an even better option for travelers. Overall, it’s a good choice for its prime location and budget accommodation, but not ideal if you need a strong and reliable internet connection I hope management will improve this in future.
