A few things: first, compared to some other Airbnbs in this part of Kenting, this one is a bit closer to the ”main street” area and the beaches, but it is also quite close to the ”Sail Rock,” which is actually I think even prettier to look at than the beaches. There is indeed a beach nearby too though not as popular for swimming and surfing and so forth due to rocks nearby. There is a 7/11 close by, and a few restaurants, though I did not try them out. You will probably end up taking a bus or biking over to the busier part of Kenting for food. But, since there is a beach right there, if you book the room with the sea view, this means you can enjoy the beach view from the apartment, which I think is great and not really all that common even among the nicer hotels in the area. There is also a ”bath/hot tub” that you can use to enjoy the view, which I think makes it more comfortable since it can be quite hot outside so you can sit there and cool off. The owner is also nice and he can pick you up from Xiaowan if you come from the 9189 bus. Otherwise you can take the 9188 bus directly to the Airbnb without much walking, which is also very convenient. In fact this was the main reason why I picked the place, which I imagine would also be suitable for the other rooms as well though they wouldnt have as nice a view of course. One note is that even with air conditioning on it can be somewhat warm due to the windows on all sides so its best to run the fans to help increase air circulation and stay cool inside. There's also a speaker you can make use of to play your tunes.

Si buscas un lugar para relajarte por completo en Kenting, te recomiendo el 35.5. La habitación era muy limpia y espaciosa, y la cama tenía la firmeza perfecta, lo que nos permitió dormir de maravilla durante los últimos días. Me encantó especialmente el diseño minimalista de la habitación; visualmente era muy despejada. Aunque la casa de huéspedes está justo al lado de la calle principal, el aislamiento acústico era sorprendentemente bueno, aislándonos perfectamente del ruido exterior. La playa de Xiaowan está a solo 5 minutos a pie; por la tarde, podíamos darnos un baño y luego volver a la habitación para disfrutar de un relajante baño, lo que nos liberó de todo el estrés al instante. ¡Muchas gracias al dueño de la casa de huéspedes por brindarnos un espacio tan maravilloso que nos permitió recargar energías antes de volver a casa!

Mein Freund und ich hatten 4 wundervolle Nächte bei Auntie Hong im Hotel. Unser Grund nach Kenting zu gehen waren Anfänger Surfstunden, welche wir auch genommen haben. Die Lage vom Hotel zum Strand ist super und es gibt 2 Surfschulen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Bushaltestelle ist auch nur max. 5 Minuten entfernt. Zum Frühstück hat Auntie Hong uns persönlich immer Frühstück zubereitet. Es gab immer Variationen angereichert mit frischem Obst und Gemüse. Zu trinken gab es Kaffee oder Milchtee. Die langen Unterhaltungen mit ihr haben wir sehr genossen. Sie ist eine sehr wissbegierige Frau. Wir empfehlen außerdem Auntie Hong direkt nach Nachbarschafts Rabatte zu fragen. Wir haben z.B. über sie unseren Scooter reduziert bekommen. Alles im allem lief unsere ganze Reise einwandfrei und wir würden jedem dieses Hotel ans Herz legen ❤️🥰

If your focus is purely to spend most of your time at the Nanwan Beach, Cat at Greece will be your choiced accommodation. As we were met with an off=peak situation, my family was the only ones staying at this hotel. We had trouble checking in as there were no one at the front desk to receive us as the property were not manned but monitored remotely. We took a while to get in touch with the hotel caretaker and that was done with the help of a 7-eleven convenience store staff reaching out to her. Amongst the properties we have stayed, Cat@Greece was the least proactive in ensuring we settled in safely. In my opinion, this hotel is suitable for stay only during summer and you must self-drive to have the convenience to explore the visitors' attractions.

Overall good stay and room was nice. Howeve when we wanted to checkout there was no one around at the front desk for a good few hours with no way to contact the owner.
