We are European tourists traveling to visit Mount Fanjing and decided to stay in the nearby village of Zhaisha. We booked this B&B which is just as beautiful as the pictures, and the rooms are well-equipped with comfortable mattresses. Guests can also take advantage of a free laundry service, which I recommend for stays of at least two days because clothes are dried outdoors and it can be humid. The owner is very kind and passionate about his work. He prepared delicious fruit for us every day and he even proposed driving us to the Mount Fanjing gate, which is a couple of kilometers away. He recommended many activities, restaurants, and a local evening festival, which was a unique local experience. To get to the Zhaisha village we booked a Didi taxi from Tongren, which takes about an hour. Alternatively, the owner can arrange a private transfer or offer advice on public transport.

I very seldom give negative reviews. I think this is my worse hotel experience in Guizhou. Pros: room is of decent size. Elevator and many restaurants near the hotel. Cons: room was not thoroughly cleaned, there were dead mosquitoes on the curtain and also on the pillow. The room stinks, with cigarette smell. The heating system takes a while to function properly At night, I heard noises thinking it was from outside, only to find out it came from the bathroom. Maybe another guest was taking a shower, and since the pipes were not insulated properly, I could hear water draining. Woke up in the middle of the night due to insect bites. Darn annoying. Needless to say, I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone

I was exploring Guizhou and decided to hike Fanmingshan. Compared to others, this was a reasonable price and distance to the scenic area. The immediate surrounding village 寨沙东 had some restaurants and stores (although I walked up the road to eat) and was 40 min walk to the entrance. A few other lodging choices are in more remote sections of the river, with only 1 or 2 store fronts or none at all；while a bit cheaper may have no easy transportation or drive options. I was the only person staying and got upgraded, and enjoyed their light breakfast in the morning. The room was well furnished and had a built-in mattress heater which was excellent in the winter. The owner also helped drive me to the entrance and also arrange the 35 rmb shuttle back to Tongren HSR. All in all excellent value and hospitality!

I really enjoyed my stay here and I'm taking away very good memories. They were very attentive and helpful, concerned about our stay. The room was very clean, hot water came on quickly. The air conditioning was good, and all the necessary amenities were provided. I highly recommend it, 7 stars for everything. They responded promptly through the platform. Always attentive and ready to help. Thank you very much for your hospitality and help with everything.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, justo al lado de la zona turística. El dueño fue muy amable y nos ayudó con el equipaje, además de proporcionarnos un servicio de transporte a la zona turística. Incluso nos prepararon unos fideos deliciosos por la mañana, que nos dieron mucha energía para la caminata. La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada, y el agua caliente de la ducha era excelente y muy refrescante. ¡Le deseamos al dueño mucho éxito en su negocio!

Elegir Longting Courtyard en la montaña Fanjing fue una excelente decisión. ¡Un servicio perfecto! 💯 El dueño fue increíblemente atento. Nos recogió personalmente fuera del área escénica e incluso nos acompañó a la salida. Incluso se ofreció a llevar a huéspedes de otros B&B por el camino. ¡Su generosidad fue innegable! Mejor aún, nos recomendó un atajo a la cima de la montaña Fanjing, lo que nos ahorró muchísimo tiempo. ¡Un gran aplauso! 👍 La comida era absolutamente increíble. ¡Las comidas caseras de la tía estaban deliciosas! El pescado frito estaba crujiente por fuera y tierno por dentro, y los fideos del desayuno eran generosos y deliciosos. Cada comida fue increíblemente satisfactoria, y me sentí como en casa. La ubicación era súper conveniente. El B&B está justo dentro del área escénica, lo que facilita entrar y salir. No hay necesidad de ir y venir, lo que hace que el viaje sea increíblemente eficiente. El ambiente era muy agradable. El B&B es elegante, los jardines son amplios y ordenados, y las habitaciones son limpias y cómodas. Fue una estancia realmente cómoda, un verdadero hogar lejos del hogar. Si buscas alojarte cómodamente, comer con gusto y divertirte en la montaña Fanjing, Longting Courtyard es la opción ideal. ¡Lo recomiendo encarecidamente a todos!

We loved our stay here, it was the best part of our trip!! The hotel garden and the room were cute and had all necessities. What really made our stay great was the friendliness, hospitality and helpfulness of the hostess and host. They drove us to and from the entrance of the mountain twice, for free, helped us obtain tickets, and exchanged those tickets for us (due to a mistake of the mountain employee) while we were having dinner. They also recommended a restaurant upon our request and walked us there, lent us their personal umbrella, picked us up at midnight from a neighbouring homestay, so that we didn't get lost on the way back. We also randomly got orange slices, sunflower seeds and drink packets as a gift. To top it all up, they even drove us 1,5 hours to the railway station for the same price as Didi, so that we for sure would get there on time. Very nice people in a beautiful small village with a characteristic tower. The people in the village were nice overall, as there was a bonfire party where we were invited to dance in a circle with them and to go for food and drinks with them afterwards. They got us a bit more tipsy than we planned and toasted every time saying: “Welcome to China!” - and what a welcome it was. Thank you for the wonderfull experience.

La habitación está limpia e higiénica y el ambiente es excelente. La mayor ventaja es que está a solo 50 metros de la entrada del lugar pintoresco, lo cual es muy conveniente. Detrás del hotel hay una hilera de restaurantes, lo cual es muy conveniente para cenar. Nos alojamos en el hotel por 2 noches y comimos en 2 restaurantes respectivamente. La porción de pollo relleno amarillo el primer día fue muy pequeña y el sabor de todo el plato fue normal. Al día siguiente volví a elegir el ”Pescado a la Piedra” Las porciones aquí son razonables y el sabor es bastante bueno. Lo recomiendo aquí para evitar que los turistas que vienen detrás de mí me confundan. Volviendo a la reseña del hotel, cuando salíamos del hotel, la tarjeta de acceso de una de las habitaciones de nuestro grupo falló repentinamente y el mantenimiento se retrasó más de diez o veinte minutos. En esta misma habitación, el aire acondicionado también se estropeó durante mi estancia, por lo que las instalaciones quedaron un escalón por debajo de la puntuación total. El servicio sigue siendo normal.

El B&B está justo al lado de los bomberos locales. Hay un pasaje que conduce al aparcamiento subterráneo y un ascensor llega directamente a cada planta. La casera es del grupo étnico Tujia, es modesta y sincera. Siempre sonríe y brinda un servicio cálido a todos los huéspedes que se hospedan en el hotel. También ofrece degustación de vino de arroz a los invitados a cenar. En el bar del primer piso por la noche, la casera también nos regaló con entusiasmo sandías. Corta el plato para aliviar el calor. Lo más impresionante: una turista con habitación sólo pidió online alojamiento para una noche. Salió del hotel por la mañana después de hacer senderismo y no regresó hasta la tarde antes de cenar, y no había anunciado una prórroga de su estancia. El jefe no tenía intención de quedarse cuando la llamó por la mañana. Alguien respondió la llamada, lo que resultó en que la habitación se vendiera en línea para esa tarde. Sin embargo, la turista que se quedó antes intervino en la pelea con la dueña, gritando. ¡Que tenía prioridad para continuar su estancia aunque no hubiera movido su equipaje! Para ”Hedong Lion's Roar”, que es tan irracional y travieso, el patrón de la jefa se puede llamar ”persuadir a la gente con virtud”. Primero hizo los arreglos adecuados para los turistas posteriores que habían reservado la habitación pero no pudieron registrarse en otro B&B para descansar, y luego explicó con calma y claridad el motivo, pero aun así se hizo cargo de la turista arrogante que ocupaba la habitación para continuar su estadía. Todo el proceso hizo que los espectadores sintieran el cuidado de la jefa. De mente abierta y generosa, ¡esta operación debe ser elogiada!

This was the best service we received in China so far. We booked the hotel quite last moment after contacting the owner, because they were extremely helpful securing for us the Fanjingshan tickets offline (because online tickets were sold out). Then they prepared breakfast and snacks for us before climbing the mountain. It is only a bit over a kilometer from the scenic area entrance. Our concierge Xiao Wu and his hospitality was beyond anything we ever experieneced in any hotel, he helped us organize a transportation, helped with translating, recommended the best restaurants in the area and even handled discounts for us. When it comes to the hotel itself - beautiful smaller place but with lot of rooms. The pool is nice relaxing treat after hard walking the main attraction in the area. Always clean and well organized. The only thing we did not understand was that big rooms had only one double bad, and room with two double beds was comparatively smaller.. I wish more international tourists would visit this area and this hotel in particular, the staff would appreciate practicing some English.. :-)
