This guesthouse was really wonderful and charming! The owners are very thoughtful, kind, and helpful. The guesthouse is conveniently located in Jiangkou village and the room was comfortable and clean. If you are planning to visit Fanjing Mountain, we highly recommend that you stay here. We were able to walk to the scenic spot entrance very easily (although the owner also offered to drop and pick us up); the entrance is only a 2km walk away. Getting transportation to and from the guesthouse is also convenient as it is close to a drop-off/pick-up spot/parking lot. We took a 7-seater shuttle from Tongren station, and the owners helpfully arranged our return journey to the station so we didn't have to worry about it. We would definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at this hoteland was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service, especially from the owner. From the moment I arrived, the owner went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. What stood out the most was how helpful and resourceful they were—whether it was giving great local recommendations, arranging transportation, or quickly resolving any small requests, nothing was too much trouble. Their warm and welcoming attitude made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another visitor. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed, but it was the personal touch from the owner that truly made my stay memorable. If you're looking for a place with excellent service and a host who genuinely cares about your experience, this is the hotel for you! Amazing! Fascinating! Fanjingshan was the final stop of our memorable 10-day tour of Guizhou Province, and we truly could not have chosen a better place to conclude our journey. We felt genuinely blessed to stay at this lovely guesthouse for three nights. From the very beginning, the owner Mr. Zhang Haotian and his family made us feel completely at home; they were warm, engaging, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are tastefully designed and thoughtfully laid out, perfectly sized for comfort. Our room offered a soothing view of the river, along with a private balcony; an ideal spot to relax with your favourite tea or coffee. The modern touches were impressive too, especially the high-tech sensor toilet, which added a pleasant surprise. The three-storey guesthouse is equipped with an elevator, a thoughtful convenience for guests with heavy luggage or those who may find climbing stairs challenging. Dinner, lovingly cooked by the family, was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that reflected both their hospitality and culinary skill. Every meal felt homely and satisfying. We only wish we had taken more and better photographs of the guesthouse. Without a doubt, this is one place we will return to. As for the enchanting Fanjing Mountain itself, the owner drove us to the scenic area entrance. He even offered to pick us up later, but we chose to walk back instead, enjoying the cool climate. Fanjing Mountain is magical in its own right. The steep cable car ride to the summit, which takes over 20 minutes, was an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the mountain ranges stretching endlessly around us. At the top stands the age-old Buddhist temple, serene and awe-inspiring, perfectly harmonising with its natural surroundings. We loved the guesthouse, we are very grateful to Mr. Zhang and his family for their kindness, and deeply thankful for the unforgettable experience at Fanjing Mountain. It was the perfect ending to a remarkable journey.

The receptionist was so welcoming. As soon as she saw my ride pulled up, she ran outside to bring my luggage. The check in took little time and the room was already ready by 1:00 pm. She told me the Golden Monkey offered 20 % discount so I ate there. She was there day and night and was such a hard working lady.  The location is within 10 to 15 minutes walk from the East Entrance. Next to the entrance was the bus stop from where you can go to Xijiang, Xiaoqikung, etc. It was so convenient. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. This is a great location to explore Fangjing Shan. The room was quite large but I have to say the bed was a bit hard. I told the receptionist and she said I should have told her because she could have  added another cushion. I felt like I slept on the hard floor for 2 nights but I can’t fault the owner nor the receptionist. She was always there to help so it was really my fault for not notifying here after 30 minutes on my bed. I should have known by then. But then again I was so tired and since it was only for 2 nights, I didn’t complain. There are 30 rooms in the hotel and it must be bothersome for the poor receptionist.  The room was quiet except for a lousy family down the hall. They had probably 2 rooms , had their doors opened and sounded like they were deaf to each other. This is not the fault of the owner. My next door neighbor was quiet though. My advice for those who consider this hotel is , do come , you will like it. Lie on the bed. If the bed is too hard, inform the receptionist. This hotel deserves a very high score because of the superb attitude of the receptionist.

Elegir Longting Courtyard en la montaña Fanjing fue una excelente decisión. ¡Un servicio perfecto! 💯 El dueño fue increíblemente atento. Nos recogió personalmente fuera del área escénica e incluso nos acompañó a la salida. Incluso se ofreció a llevar a huéspedes de otros B&B por el camino. ¡Su generosidad fue innegable! Mejor aún, nos recomendó un atajo a la cima de la montaña Fanjing, lo que nos ahorró muchísimo tiempo. ¡Un gran aplauso! 👍 La comida era absolutamente increíble. ¡Las comidas caseras de la tía estaban deliciosas! El pescado frito estaba crujiente por fuera y tierno por dentro, y los fideos del desayuno eran generosos y deliciosos. Cada comida fue increíblemente satisfactoria, y me sentí como en casa. La ubicación era súper conveniente. El B&B está justo dentro del área escénica, lo que facilita entrar y salir. No hay necesidad de ir y venir, lo que hace que el viaje sea increíblemente eficiente. El ambiente era muy agradable. El B&B es elegante, los jardines son amplios y ordenados, y las habitaciones son limpias y cómodas. Fue una estancia realmente cómoda, un verdadero hogar lejos del hogar. Si buscas alojarte cómodamente, comer con gusto y divertirte en la montaña Fanjing, Longting Courtyard es la opción ideal. ¡Lo recomiendo encarecidamente a todos!

La posada está dentro del pueblo Dong y el paisaje es bastante bueno por la noche. Las habitaciones de la posada son cómodas, las camas están limpias y ordenadas y las instalaciones son completas. El posadero es muy acogedor y hay un automóvil que lo lleva ida y vuelta a la puerta este del área escénica de Fanjingshan. Además, el pollo local del restaurante de Dong Village es delicioso. Desafortunadamente, debido a la lluvia helada, muchos lugares pintorescos estaban cerrados cuando subimos a la montaña Fanjing al día siguiente, por lo que no vimos ningún paisaje, lo que fue un poco decepcionante. En general fue una buena experiencia de alojamiento.

We loved our stay here, it was the best part of our trip!! The hotel garden and the room were cute and had all necessities. What really made our stay great was the friendliness, hospitality and helpfulness of the hostess and host. They drove us to and from the entrance of the mountain twice, for free, helped us obtain tickets, and exchanged those tickets for us (due to a mistake of the mountain employee) while we were having dinner. They also recommended a restaurant upon our request and walked us there, lent us their personal umbrella, picked us up at midnight from a neighbouring homestay, so that we didn't get lost on the way back. We also randomly got orange slices, sunflower seeds and drink packets as a gift. To top it all up, they even drove us 1,5 hours to the railway station for the same price as Didi, so that we for sure would get there on time. Very nice people in a beautiful small village with a characteristic tower. The people in the village were nice overall, as there was a bonfire party where we were invited to dance in a circle with them and to go for food and drinks with them afterwards. They got us a bit more tipsy than we planned and toasted every time saying: “Welcome to China!” - and what a welcome it was. Thank you for the wonderfull experience.

¡Esta pensión fue fantástica! La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada, acogedora y la ropa de cama era cómoda; dormí de maravilla. El dueño fue muy amable y hospitalario, y me brindó muchos detalles considerados. La zona es preciosa y muy práctica para moverse por la ciudad. Sin duda me alojaré aquí de nuevo la próxima vez que visite la ciudad, ¡y la recomiendo encarecidamente!

A hidden gem! This resort type of hotel is so rare in the area. We opted for this hotel for the gorgeous courtyard type of layout. The hotel deserves the attention and my lengthy review as the architect/ designer has such an exquisite taste which shows off in the smallest details. The select of burl wood trims with marble patterns, stylish lighting fixtures… Rooms are spacious and full of technology. Bathroom with heat floor and even ironized glass which offers instant privacy with a click of a button. This hotel alone is worth couple nights of stay where one could plan a getaway from the city life and fully immerse themselves in the hotel’s garden trails. This hotel is great for tourists who prioritize monetary value as It’s essentially a five star luxury resort for a fraction of the price. However, for those who enjoy a slower pace and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy tourisy area it offers more. This hotel had become an integral part of my spiritual retreat escaping city and exploring the FANJING mountain area. El hotel está bien equipado y es muy higiénico. El jefe es muy amable. Uno de ellos afirmó haber sido chef durante varios años. Pude probar sus habilidades culinarias y estaban bien, pero no sé si lleva más de diez años como chef. El jefe me las trajo personalmente a la habitación. La sala de estar de la suite es muy grande. Cinco personas lo pasaron genial comiendo. Volveré la próxima vez.
