The location was nice, not too noisy but still very close to the center. People at reception are very nice and helpful. They can help you book different things such as ferry tickets, transportation and activities. Bathroom was not super clean and some pipes was leaking. They provide one towel and there is a tube of shampoo in the bathroom if you don’t have anything it’s helpful. There is bathroom and toilet in your room but also some in common area if needed. The room was ok, there is curtains to protect from light and people passing. It’s also quite easy to go on the upper bed. AC is not too strong and you can ask reception to regulate. Globally, it’s a good hostel and for the price it really worth it.

El hotel está en centro lo cual hace que sea muy fácil moverse y muy conveniente para los tours ya que todos pasan por ti a la entrada, cerca hay muchos restaurantes, tiendas, lavanderías, de masajes y mucho mas. El restaurante y bar están en el cuarto piso, tiene una vista muy linda al puerto, por el tipo de lugar obviamente no hay elevadores, si van con gente con algún impedimento motriz puede ser un problema, o al menos tendrán que tomar su tiempo para llegar. Ofrecen desayuno, la noche anterior te preguntan la hora y tu elección, ellos te dan 8 opciones todos llevan huevo+dos rebanadas de pan 🍞 o arroz con ajo+alguna carne, la porción en mi opinión es poca pero te ayuda al menos a aguantar un ratito hasta que vayas a algún otro lado a desayunar. NO RECOMIENDO TOMAR AGUA DE SUS DISPENSADORES ya que 2 días tuvo moho, yo había reportado a la recepcionista y dijo que limpiarían pero no fue así, me ofreció botellitas de agua en su lugar. Hay alberca pero nunca vi a nadie meterse y la razón es simple, esta muy sucia, personalmente no me arriesgaría a una infección por la calidad del agua. Las recepcionistas son muy amables en sus palabras y ayudan mucho en las solicitudes, pero a una de ellas le salen subtítulos pues en su cara se nota el desagrado. Todos hablan inglés lo cual hace las cosas más sencillas. Me tocó la habitación 103 lamentablemente absolutamente todo lo que pasa afuera se escucha, y como esta muy próximo a la recepción pues el ruido es algo frecuente. Si les dan es habitación quizá con el cansancio de los tour ya no importará tanto pues uno termina agotado, lo que sí les reconozco es que su cama es muy muy cómoda. Apesar de los detalles creo que es una buena opción de alojamiento, tienen áreas de oportunidad para mejorar, el pueblo en general esta en desarrollo así que quizá en otra ocasión les daré otra oportunidad.

El lugar es realmente muy alto, de todos los aspectos. En el hotel, el hotel está muy bien situado, el hotel está muy bien mantenido, tiene un aire acondicionado y un calentador de agua en el duche, y está muy bien a la noche. El desayuno es barato y bueno. La habitación está muy bien. Dos cosas que me compró: 1) Se dice que el desayuno es hasta las 8:00, un día me desperté tarde y se me ofreció a las 11:00 (se cocina manualmente para cada cliente, por lo que es molesto) 2) En el checkout, no recuerdo si tenía un depósito o no, el propietario finalmente acepta darme un importe equivalente, aunque no pensó que yo tenía el depósito (aún no estoy seguro si tenía) sólo para mantener su reputación, No va más honesto que eso. ¡Muy recomendado!

Pasamos 4 noches en este hotel. Lo realmente positivo es la piscina y su jardín. Un gran lugar tranquilo para descansar en este pueblo de Coron. Bravo también por la cocina, la cocina es excelente !! En el lado negativo, las excursiones a las islas son más caras que a la ciudad ... Sin embargo, una gran estancia en Kokosnuss.

The Casa's location is just up ahead from the Coron main road which you can take tricycle to go anywhere in the Coron Town Proper, it is also near the St. Agustin Church, and near to BPI, Andoks, Pacifico, Maria L's Cake House and Café. The Casa is basically and technically near to popular places, you only need to walk down to the Coron main road and grab a tricycle and jist tell the driver the place you want to go. The room I was in were good to sleep in, the aircondition works, I basically turned off the AC when the room cool enough then open the electric fan. You can use their kitchen which I discovered late but it's fine since I always out touring, I just wish that the care taker orient me ahead on what can I access or use. I spoke to the owner ober the phone, he is not here in the Casa but still helped me to be picked up from and to the airport and the Casa. There are no staff to fully accomodate you since this is not a hotel but more like a house where you rent room to stay in to sleep and bathe, but you can ask people who were staying here probably the care taker of the house to ask for assistance. The place were not yet known to all because during my stay here and I had a booked tour the van couldn't find the Casa, probably it has no visible sign that the driver or the guide could see. There's a sign outside the gate but it needed more visibility and a repaint so that everyone know what is this place and its location. The place cannot be seen in Google Maps since it was not yet updated to recent view so even if you virtually travel the streets, the area where this place is, is inaccessible on the map. So far a good place to stay in to relax after a long day of tour activities and probably one of the cheapest.

La ubicación es excelente, a pocos pasos de muchos restaurantes, bares, cafeterías, bancos ATM, puerto para saltar a la isla, agencias turísticas, mercado, etc. El personal es útil, bienvenido y acomodado. El hotel ofrece un desayuno bufé filipinos decente (6:30-9:00am) que le hará cumplir para sus aventuras. Este hotel tiene un ascensor, que es conveniente. Ofrece una caja para sus valores en la recepción (no en las habitaciones), y los mantiene seguros. We enjoyed their restaurant coz the staff was kind, generous, and helpful. The food was delicious, despite sisig was costly mischiefed (it was more expensive than in menu prices), it has a free videoki and disco, and water. We had plenty fun dancing at the disco and having fun with the other local people. The music was awesome and lovely. There most lovely thing is there is security (at both restaurants and hotel) that guards and guides. The room we had was awful. There was no soap, no tissue, neither shampoo, a miserable room with cockroaches and ants, but we checked out earlier by mistake and we were checked in an upgraded room. The room was exclusive. Thanks for that.

What i like about the hotel/b&b was that it’s very accessible and within the town so it’s easy to navigate where I wanted to go. Amenities should be upgraded like their wifi and bathroom. Cleanliness as well should be improved.

The room was okay. No cockroaches identified. The swimming pool is fine. Reception is approachable, a bit hectic but helpful if you insist. Development areas: the hotel did not respond to my calls, messages via Trip.com, email, or WhatsApp despite many attempts. I did it in advance and a day before the check-in - full ignorance. Only after arrival they shared another WhatsApp number that they use: +63 968 406 0479. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the city center. On one side there is a big school, on the other - a huge construction of another hotel. Be ready to enjoy either the children’s screaming or the sounds of construction from 7:30 a.m. The only thing that helped here is the old-school through-the-wall air conditioner (PTAC) that is noisy enough to drown out the sounds from the street. If you are courageous or desperate enough to book this hotel, at least ask for a side-view room. The elevator stopped working after a couple of days, which made us fit to go up to the 5th floor by stairs. The breakfast is extremely poor and deserves to be missed.

Review for Ginto Residence in El Nido – 4/5 Stars Ginto Residence is a fantastic place to stay in El Nido if you’re looking for a central location. This small property with only four rooms feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and communication is easy via WhatsApp. The amenities are thoughtful – free water, hot coffee, and tea are always available. The rooms are freshly renovated and very clean. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Corong-Corong, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you’re in an upper-floor room, the balcony provides a great view of the street below – but keep in mind, you’ll also hear the street noise quite clearly. This makes it ideal for guests who want to be in the middle of the action, but perhaps not for those seeking peace and quiet. Breakfast is served in a local Filipino restaurant nearby and features delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine. The internet connection is excellent and very stable, which was a huge plus. One suggestion for improvement would be to add a refrigerator in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great option for its location, friendly service, and modern amenities. Four stars!
