Loved this modest but well-kept ryokan. This is right on the slopes, so a ski-in and ski-out situation. It is near the Yokoteyama Resort shuttle stop. The futons and comforters were very comfortable, and we had fantastic sleep every night we stayed. The family that cares for the ryokan/hotel was lovely, and even though there was a language barrier, we made it work together! The public bath is effective, and the food, while modest, was prepared with care, and delicious. Enjoyed our stay very much. We would come back.

Me alojé en esta casa de familia por unos días durante el Festival de Primavera y se siente realmente genial. La propietaria es muy amable. El arroz también es delicioso. Las aguas termales del hotel también son fantásticas y muy prácticas. La ubicación aquí está a aproximadamente una hora en coche de la estación de esquí, y hay un autobús de enlace todos los días, lo cual es bastante conveniente. La habitación es limpia, cálida y cómoda. Aunque es un baño público, no sentí ningún inconveniente. Mi favorito es volver a las aguas termales para bañarme después de esquiar todos los días.

Shiga no yu es todo sobre cuidadosamente, bien cordial, auténtico buen servicio. Amamos la vibe de los años 70 del lugar. Es encantador estilo de los años 70 todo el camino. Las comidas proporcionadas fueron maravillosas! Grandes porciones, sabor y variedad! Cada comida era diferente! El arrecife fue perfecto al final de cada día de cansancio muscular del esquí. No espere que el alquiler de esquí de la gama de arriba así si eso es importante para usted, traer su propio. Pero si no, sólo disfrute del estilo intimidad del lugar y de las muchas montañas de esquí para explorar comenzando con el ascensor de la silla justo fuera de la puerta del hotel!

Es una foto de este teléfono móvil en esta tienda y en la puerta de la tienda. El viejo casal y su esposa operan un pequeño hotel, no lejos del terminal del tractor de Thompoo. En la ciudad cálida, hay una sala cálida de 24 horas y es bueno. El jefe es muy suave para llevarnos a la montaña de la barbacoa para ver el bosque. El baño de calor nos facilita mucho. El compartir lavandería es el lugar más inusual que yo, pero en general está satisfecho.

Great location close to all the small public baths. A bit far from the main station but still walkable or reachable by bus. The room is clean and cozy with very old Ryokan vibes. The hotel itself has a private bath and public bath with shower. Not very clean but ok. I guess depends on what time you use it. The breakfast is nice and simple, really enjoyed it. You can walk to the monkey park from here.

They do not have air conditioning or a heater in the room. This is the first time I’ve encountered this in Nagano or in accommodation around a ski area (I ski every week). The floor heating is insufficient and does not warm the room at all. It was freezing at night. On top of that, the mattress is uncomfortably hard and the blanket is very heavy. Even after a long day of skiing, I barely managed to sleep. And the next morning, my whole body was sore. Aside from the sleep issues, everything else was acceptable.
