民宿打掃得非常乾淨，可以說是一塵不染，寢具很親膚超級舒服，感覺有好好乾洗過，不是那種制式的被子有霉味又難蓋，服務態度也非常好，入住後遇到什麼問題都是即時回覆，當晚房間突然出現一隻大飛蟲，跟民宿說了一下，民宿馬上派人來幫我抓蟲，讓我睡得很安穩，下次來金門也要住這間。

Nos quedamos hasta una noche y el anfitrión nos llevó a la “Universidad de nnan” que tenía una vista paranormal espectacular de la isla y un gran lugar para ver los peces salvajes, un fin perfecto para nuestro viaje a Kinmen. Seguramente estará de vuelta y permanecerá aquí la próxima vez ❤️

El servicio fue excelente; el tío y la tía fueron muy amables y hospitalarios. El lugar estaba limpio y ordenado. Aunque la habitación no era grande, era pequeña pero estaba perfectamente equipada. El único inconveniente, o quizás una ventaja, era la falta de transporte. La casa de huéspedes está ubicada junto a una carretera principal, y a menudo se oyen motocicletas pasar a toda velocidad.

What I liked: the location is very convenient if you’re coming to Kinmen from Xiamen. The homestay is walking distance from Shuitou Port (about 15 minutes). The owner is a very friendly and helpful person. He helped me rent an electric motorcycle and responded very fast to all of my text messages. The homestay is clean (the cleaning lady is very kind, too! ^^). There’s a lot of storage space as well as lockers. The shampoo and body wash in the bathroom were also really nice. What could be improved: the bunk beds consists of a wooden plank and bedding, so it was quite hard and a bit uncomfortable. However, I still managed to sleep well and there’s enough privacy. There are no locks in the homestay. Basically anyone from outside can access the public areas and the room with the bunk beds, which can be scary for some solo travelers. However, the homestay has security cameras and Kinmen is very safe in general, so I was never really worried. The door of the room is quite heavy and makes a lot of noise, so this is something to be mindful of when it’s late and you’re sharing the room with other guests. All in all, I had a great experience and would stay here again. I’m really happy to have had the opportunity to stay at a traditional house for such an affordable price.

Nuestra estancia en Jingcheng Home Stay fue perfecta. Kinmen es un pueblo pequeño y nuestra familia fue allí especialmente para disfrutar de su patrimonio histórico. La esposa del dueño de Jingcheng, la Sra. Xie, fue de gran ayuda el primer día: nos llevó a recorrer el pueblo y nos ayudó a encontrar las rutas de los autobuses turísticos locales. Esto nos ahorró mucho tiempo y molestias al día siguiente. Además, nos ayudó a reservar un taxi con antelación para ir al muelle del ferry. Recomiendo encarecidamente Jingcheng a quienes no les importe alojarse en una casa de familia.

The homestay is a short walk from the bus stop (for buses No Red 1 and No 2 from the main Kinmen town of Jincheng) and a 7-11 convenience store. The traditional Fujian building is beautiful and an attraction in itself, with an atmospheric courtyard where guests could chill with coffee and/or a meal. But it has been newly renovated with modern amenities, and the place is very clean and well kept. The host was warm and really very helpful. When he heard that we wanted to walk up Mt Taiwu, he drove us to the start of the walking trail. He also gave us a contact for a taxi driver in case we needed a ride back. And when he learnt that we were tracing our ancestors, he brought us to meet an elder who might have a family register. Really thankful to have met a host like him.

I had a really pleasant stay at Kivala Hostel. The place was very clean and well looked after, especially the bathrooms and sleeping areas, which made a big difference for a hostel. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is quiet and peaceful, which I personally liked, though it’s a little away from the main busy areas — something to keep in mind if you want everything right outside your door. The common areas were comfortable and practical, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and respectful rather than noisy or chaotic. Overall, it’s great value for money and a solid choice if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxed place to stay in Kinmen. I’d happily stay here again.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The highlight of my stay was definitely the owner; she is incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to assist me in renting an electric scooter, which made exploring the area so much easier. The property was spotlessly clean, and the location is very convenient. There is a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, which was very handy. If you are looking for a great place to stay with top-notch service, this is it.

因為他們不在市區，所以本來想租機車，但是因為下雨，且我太晚講，租車處都已打烊（18：00後），所以只好作罷，但是還好民宿附近有公車站牌，到機場跟市區中心交通還算方便，不是一定要租機車或搭計程車，不過公車一小時一班，要自行留意到站時間，金城開車時間蠻準時的，但到民宿快則10幾分鐘，慢的話大概20幾分。
