Location perfect - but no fitness centre Service by staff very poor no porter carry bags yourself to 2nd level…. Power went off for few hours only in our room due to some maintenance failure… night staff walked off with now it’s working no apologies, management didn’t even bother to come and check next day if all okay.

The hospitality is top notch! All staff were really welcoming and friendly. Plenty of activities to occupy yourselves and very nice property to be in - vibes and views wise. Overall a very pleasant stay and a wonderful memory

Grande hotel de resort pequeño. Muy familiar orientado especialmente para familias con niños pequeños. Alimentos y restaurantes son excelentes y muy bien precio. Necesito más actividades en la noche para adultos. Entretenimiento musical agradable pero repetitivo.

Disfruta de una estancia con personal de posición... sólo unos pocos lugares para mejorar En general, me disfruté de mi estancia en la Plaza Crowne, y el ambiente del resort fue divertido y relajado, y el equipo nos hizo sentir bienvenidos. I arrived at the hotel at 9am, because of the room not yet ready, we wait until at 1pm, the staff said the room is almost check out, will be ready at 2:30pm, we wait for almost 6 hours, until after 3pm, it's the check in time, the staff said the room still not yet ready. OMG... but at last, thank you to Trip.com for resolving the problem; we got a refund for the first night. 2. Room service is really bad; the box of tissues, the shampoo, and the body lotion all need to wait for a day to refill. 3. The lobby is very, very small, does not look like a 5-star hotel, and many people sleep on the sofa; they also wait for a long time to check in. 4. The Fiji Airlines counter is not open all the time, so we had to take the luggage by ourselves and check in at the airport at last. 5. The only good point to stay is that the port is very near, it's convenient for island hopping, and the restaurants are not bad.

Overall, the hotel is beautiful and offers a very pleasant setting. The facilities are well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxing. A special mention to the staff, who are always present, smiling, and genuinely willing to help at any time, their service is definitely a strong point of this hotel. However, there was a significant issue regarding the room booking. I had reserved a room with an ocean view, and the photos clearly showed this. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room set far back, with no real ocean view. After speaking with reception, I was told that the photos were inaccurate and that the issue came from Trip. Regardless of whether this is the responsibility of the platform or the hotel, this situation is simply not professional and creates unnecessary disappointment. For those specifically looking for a nice ocean view, this may not be the right place. The water itself is not particularly appealing, as it appears green and not very clear. Access to the hotel is quite unique, as you need to take a small boat (about one minute) to cross from one side to the other, which can be a nice experience but may not suit everyone. Lastly, if your room is located far from the reception area, you will need to rely on golf car to get around the property. Unfortunately, these are not always readily available, which can be inconvenient. In summary, the hotel has great potential thanks to its setting and excellent staff, but some aspects, especially booking accuracy and logistics could be significantly improved.

El agradable aroma al entrar en mi habitación presagiaba una estancia placentera. El turno de noche del restaurante ofreció un servicio excelente; el personal se aseguró de que nos atendieran con prontitud, tomó nota de nuestros pedidos rápidamente y estuvo pendiente de nuestras necesidades durante toda la noche. I recently stayed at Gecko's Resort and had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The resort has a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, with a comfortable bed that made for restful nights. I especially appreciated the little touches like free DVDs available to borrow – a nice bonus for quiet evenings in. The location is great too – just a short distance from the beautiful Sigatoka Sand Dunes and the Pacific Ocean, so there’s no shortage of things to see and do nearby. One downside, however, is the Wi-Fi. Access requires a voucher, and if you're streaming videos (like on YouTube), the data only lasts around two hours. This was a bit inconvenient, especially in an age where connectivity is expected to be seamless. Overall, Gecko's Resort is a great option for a peaceful getaway with a few nice extras. Just be prepared to manage your internet usage or consider unplugging and enjoying the serene surroundings.
