PROS: I absolutely loved this boutique hotel! I loved the old charm, mixed with the clean modern decor. The rooms were clean and bright! The toiletries were a favorite from  the luxury brand, l'occitane.  The entire staff was welcoming and kind. Fabio from dining gave special attention to details, which made our meals and our dining experience wonderful. My spa treatment with the spa manager was exceptional. I loved the surrounding area. It was safe for myself and friends to walk around at night.  The front desk staff and the cleaning crew were wonderful, as well! Thanks so much! CONS: I could hear noise from the street at night. Thin walls, so I heard movement outside my door and through the walls. Water went out for a few minutes one evening.

We had already paid £480 online through Trip.com for a double room for 3 nights. However, upon arrival, the hotel demanded an additional €400 simply because a second guest would be staying in the room. What made this even more unreasonable was that I checked the exact same room type on multiple other dates, and the price was identical whether selecting 1 adult or 2 adults. The listing itself also clearly indicated that the room rate included accommodation for 2 adults. Despite this, the hotel still charged an extra €400 at check-in. This additional amount only included breakfast and city tax for the second guest — there was absolutely no room upgrade, no extra bed, and no additional service provided. In fact, the amount charged was so excessive that it was close to the price of booking an entirely separate room. At check-in, the hotel stated that if we refused to pay, the second guest would not be allowed to stay. We tried multiple times to communicate with the hotel in a polite and constructive way, but there was no flexibility or reasonable attempt to resolve the issue. I completely understand paying reasonable extra charges for breakfast or local taxes, but the way this situation was handled felt extremely unfair and poorly communicated in advance. Trip.com customer service was actually very helpful throughout the process and even provided compensation themselves, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the hotel remained unwilling to address the situation fairly. The property itself may be nice, but this experience left us feeling disappointed, uncomfortable, and taken advantage of. Transparency and fairness in pricing are essential, especially for international travelers.

Hotel Artmadams is a handy base for a solo business trip thanks to its position just off Paseo Mallorca—minutes from the old town and public transport. My double room was spotless, the Wi-Fi solid, and the desk big enough for a laptop-heavy workday, though the floor space would feel crowded for two people sharing. Service, however, is hit-or-miss. I arrived late and the night receptionist’s limited English stretched the check-in longer than necessary. Mornings weren’t smoother: the small buffet is arranged almost randomly, plates are hidden in odd spots, and staff give instructions only in Spanish until you look confused, which makes breakfast more stressful than it should be. The room lacked an iron and hair-dryer, both available only on request. Likewise, the pillow on my first night was thin and decorative; only after housekeeping swapped it for a better one did I learn there’s a pillow menu—useful information that should be offered at check-in. In short, Artmadams delivers location, cleanliness, and reliable connectivity, but expect to ask for basics and brace for some communication gaps.

This is a very good experience. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic and has a good service attitude. This hotel is directly facing the sea and has a good visual enjoyment! I think I will come again!

The hotel checked all of our boxes to have a successful trip. There was breakfast included with my stay (really good breakfast buffet), they checked me in earlier due to my early arrival, it's in between the Palma center and the airport. Also the beach is across the street and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel lobby, so it was really easy to get around. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very generous.

Me quedé tres días a partir del 6 de octubre, pero el agua de la piscina estaba demasiado fría para entrar. Alquilé un coche, así que la ubicación era perfecta para ir a la ciudad y a la playa. El desayuno fue el mejor que he probado. Desayuno: 20 euros Cena: 28 euros Aparcamiento: Alquilé un coche, pero cuando intenté aparcar en el hotel por 15 euros, me dijeron que no había plazas y me dijeron que aparcara gratis en la calle. Un día tuve suerte, y al otro no había plazas, así que aparqué más lejos y caminé. Ya había pagado a través de la aplicación en recepción, pero cuando me pidieron que me devolviera el dinero, les dije que ya había pagado a través de la aplicación. Solo usé el aparcamiento el primer día, pero me dieron una bonificación de tres días al pagar. Asegúrate de revisar bien el recibo antes de pagar. Todo lo demás estuvo genial.

Reservé una habitación doble con vistas al mar para uso individual en el hotel de ocho pisos para una noche sin desayuno. Conocía el hotel porque había pasado por allí en coche. No parece muy atractivo desde fuera, pero sorprende cuando entras. Todo parece recién renovado y limpio. El personal de recepción fue muy amable. Tenía una habitación en el séptimo piso y estaba muy satisfecho. El hotel está situado en segunda fila, a la playa y al paseo marítimo se puede llegar en pocos minutos a pie. El hotel, que pertenece al Grupo BG al igual que sus hermanos Pamplona y Caballero, también situados en la Playa de Palma, dispone de zona de spa y deportiva además de una pequeña piscina cubierta. No utilicé comidas. En la televisión alemana hay relativamente pocos canales, de los cuales los más importantes son ZDF, RTL, Vox, 3 Sat, ZDF Info, RTL 2. Das Erste y faltan los canales 3. Positivo: Olvidé mi tableta en la habitación. La criada lo encontró y honestamente lo entregó en recepción. Lo recogí un día después. ¡Gracias por la honestidad!

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was also very good, with a nice variety and good quality. However, be careful when booking the hotel with children. When we made the booking, it was stated that children stay for free. Naturally, when booking a room for three people, you would expect that everything is included for all three guests. There was no information anywhere that we would need to pay an additional €40 per day for the child. When we ordered breakfast and dinner, no additional information was given that we would need to pay extra for the child. Only two days before our arrival did we receive a message saying that the child’s breakfast and dinner would cost €40 per day. Since we stayed for six nights, this added up to an extra €240, which is not a small amount. Overall, the hotel is very nice, but the information regarding children’s meals is misleading, so please be careful.

Mi experiencia positiva con el Hotel Mirador en Palma, Mallorca, comenzó tan pronto como entré en el vestíbulo. Me recibieron calurosamente en el mostrador donde resolvieron varios problemas con mi reserva realizada por Trip.com. Específicamente, por alguna razón, mi reserva estaba a nombre de un empleado de Trip.com y no a mí. En segundo lugar, aunque había reservado para dos noches con desayuno continental, la reserva se hizo para una noche con almuerzo y cena y se hizo una reserva SEPARADA para una noche sin comidas. En tercer lugar, se hizo una reserva para una habitación ”Familiar” en lugar de una individual como solicité. Esto hizo que mi estadía fuera más costosa de lo que había planeado. A pesar de todas estas dificultades, el personal del Hotel Mirador me trató excepcionalmente bien y me hizo muchas consultas telefónicas hasta que pude conseguir una habitación.
