We enjoyed our stay in Yatter. Thanks to Kiki being super helpful and responsive who upgraded our room, and resolved my issues even before we arrived. I thought it’s still a good value considering all amenities and services, even though it is away from the city centre. But we rather stay somewhere quiet and nice like Yatter for the better quality.

I decided to celebrate my birthday in a different way staying at this hotel and it was a great experience! The amenities are really good, the hotel is well maintained, breakfast is amazing and the staff were absolutely friendly, welcoming and helpful. There’s a kind of mall right next to the hotel with a few good places to eat.

Our stay included a photography package - we would like to commend the photographer for being accommodating of our requests. He was quick and efficient. Check-in staff also tried their best to speak in English which I appreciate lots. The two bellboys who carried luggages and parcel packages are also very hardworking and polite! They are hospitable and could answer our questions - I could see that they were tired but still polite and would attend to us without asking Renna via GSM WEchat was also very helpful and went out of her way when my Taobao packages had issues - replying throughout the day. She replied very fast and I believe went beyond her job scope. We had a free room upgrade which we really appreciate, though I think the previous room guest smoked in the room and the AC system had smoke smell stuck inside - so had to stay the night with the smell. 我們的住宿包含攝影套餐——我們想特別表揚一下攝影師，他非常配合我們的要求，而且動作迅速高效。 兩位搬運行李和包裹的行李員也非常勤勞有禮！他們熱情好客，能夠解答我們的疑問──雖然看得出來他們很累，但依然彬彬有禮，主動為我們服務。 辦理入住的工作人員也盡力用英語交流，我對此非常感激。 Renna（透過微信聯絡）也幫了我們很多忙，我的淘寶包裹出了問題，她更是盡心盡力地幫我解決，整天都在回复。她的回覆速度非常快，我覺得她做得遠遠超出職責範圍。 我們被免費升級了房間，非常感謝，不過我覺得之前的房客可能在房間裡抽煙，空調裡殘留了煙味——所以我們不得不忍受著煙味過了一夜。

After choosing to stay at your hotel, we found the room facilities and environment to be quite good. The weather was hot, and there were enough drinks and bottled water for us, making it very suitable for our family. However, we were not entirely satisfied with the fact that the toilet and shower shared a single door. The wardrobe space was also a bit small. Your staff didn't even notice that a light fixture near the room entrance was broken, and the electrical outlet next to the sink was also broken. We only discovered this while drying our hair.

El personal es genial, muy amable y hospitalario, Mary fue muy simpática. Era el cumpleaños de mi esposo, así que nos dieron una habitación superior gratis y un pastel; estaba delicioso. We are 3 generations that stayed in a 2 bedroom villa that encountered many problems during our 5 night stay. There were 2 days where we had issues with the hot water, 2 different days when we had electrical issues (lights would not turn on or off in the master bedroom), 1 day of toilet problems, and some kitchen cleanliness issues as well. Our butler Michelle worked hard to help us fix the issues as quick as possible, but it was quite frustrating to encounter and not what we expected of a Ritz Carlton at all. I felt bad for Michelle who had to deal with our issues even on her days off and when she wasn’t around, we had to speak with 3 different managers (Peter, Arthur and Felix) on 3 different days… just seems like there were no consistency in their service even though the staff were well intentioned. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel based on our stay.

El Haikou Marriot está situado junto a la playa y ofrece una vista del océano al 100 %, con China continental claramente visible desde mi balcón. El personal de recepción fue amable y servicial, especialmente la Sra. Miranda, que constantemente se preocupó por mi bienestar y mis necesidades. No puedo quejarme de nada de su servicio y atención durante mi estadía de 4 días en el Haikou Marriot. Espero volver a hospedarme allí en mis futuras visitas a esta hermosa ciudad.

The staff working here are absolutely excellent. From the ladies and gentlemen on the front desk, to the amazing chefs and restaurant staff, and the fantastic guest room upkeep and service crew, the duty managers and floor managers and the maintenance and garden and pool crew. We stayed for a few days during a national holiday, and were so impressed by the professional, friendly excellent staff who were all doing a truly great job. It made our stay, with a child, of the highest quality and satisfaction. Justin, the manager on duty when we arrived was very friendly and attentive and was a wonderful help to us. The pools and restaurants and cafes at the I hotel are fantastic. Beautiful, clean and well organized. The evening hour in the Executive Lounge was excellent also. Very satisfied and grateful to Justin and all the staff at this great hotel.
