Un lugar bastante nuevo en la isla, el personal es amable y servicial, especialmente el trabajador local, la comida es excelente y muy limpia.

Nice vibe and located right in front of the beach, party vibes all day long. Staff is attend and nice, although at night the AC can be a little bit too cold. Surroundings are nice and convenient there are many restaurants and mini supers close by

The bungalow only had a bed, not even a little chair or anywhere to put your bags so everything ended up going on the bed or the floor.
Only half of the plug points were working so it took a while to figure out which ones were working.
The lights were not working, when I told reception they came and fixed the bathroom light. The main bedroom light was not fixed. When I reported it the next day they said they would come and check it out. I waited for hours, no one came. I then went back to reception to report it then they told me that the light was broken and they didn’t have the necessary tools to fix it. No offer to move me or anything.
The lock on the door was a mess, half the time it didn’t work and you would hurt your fingers trying to get it to work. I couldn’t leave my valuables in the room.
They put me (a solo female) in a bungalow the far away with a door lock that didn’t work properly which says a lot. The WiFi also barely worked in the bungalow.
You couldn’t pay me to stay at that hostel again. The location of the hostel is a good one, near the beach but overall, my stay was a disappointing!

Great location and food is good with nice staff! However, stayed in a 12 bedroom dorm which had a horrible smell and felt very unclean. The bed was full of sand and had stains all over the bed. Bathrooms are quite unclean and small. Would reccomend paying for a smaller dorm!

The overall hostel was fine however we were put in the reps room for our stay. This meant for five nights we were woken up at different hours of the night to shouting and screaming in the room. Was a bit annoying however on the final night they girl reps specifically came in screaming and shouting leave a bad review hahahaha as well as shining torches into our bed. Dogs were also allowed in the rooms and even asleep on some of the beds. Considering we paid nearly £11 per night it was a bit of a joke

Loved my stay at the Mad Monkey in Koh Rong I had originally booked to stay for 2 nights and I ended up staying for 8. The staff were all so friendly and organised lots of fun events in the night time such as beer olympics and music trivia. The dorms and the bathroom facilities were good as well and cleaned daily. Food at the hostel was nice and there are a few other options to eat at nearby at the ***** of shops

Amazing staff, great location and good vibes. Dody, Lauren and Chantel are all amazing! The best staff ever! Dody made me feel at home, his efforts at getting everyone drinking, socialising and having fun as a group is unmatched and the games run by the girls in the evening were fun, engaging and different every day! I nearly cried leaving this place! The boat trip is so good! Lots of fun and the bbq is amazing, just wish you could buy more drinks on board! Thank you to all the staff! Honestly without you lot the experience would have been so different. My only criticism is the fruit shakes have no flavour! They need to use better fruit in the mixed shake.. watermelon is flavourless and having large pips in your drink isn’t fun but other than that the rest is perfect!

We had the best time here! Me and my friend had just been travelling around Vietnam and Cambodia. We wanted to end our trip in a lovely relaxing way, yet also have some fun. So we ended our trip in Cambodia here before our flight to Bangkok then home. To start the island is beyond beautiful and the locals do their best to keep it clean. Mad monkey itself was a great vibe. It had everything you wanted and needed to have a relaxing time in the day but also if you wanted to let lose with the constant happy hours and games why not! The staff were all so helpful, friendly and they made you feel ever so welcome. Elle and Lauren were absolutely amazing and made us feel comfortable if you had any questions, just genuine real, lovely people. The beds were spacious and overall it was really clean. The food and drinks were also good and offered western and Cambodian meals. Overall a great trip manny thanks again!
