Island Center Point

Nice room with great bathroom with tub, semi-outdoors. The resort is very pretty with lots of lovely day-beds but they should have waiters coming round for food and drinks orders, which would be perfect. Decent restaurant but it’s dead in the evening since they don’t bother to make the bar up with candles or music and everybody therefore goes to nearby restaurants and bars instead. Beach is quite nice in this area and they leave it quite natural.

Very friendly stuff. Hotel is quite new, very nice built, everyone has his privacy, the beach is beautiful, sun beds are big, and included. Only downside is breakfast - small choice of western kind of meals, if someone can not eat local food in morning.

ISLAND CENTER POINT on Koh Rong Sanloem in Cambodia is a hidden gem nestled amidst turquoise waters and pristine white sands. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of its surroundings. The crystal-clear waters and powdery white beaches provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. We spent our days lounging on the beach, soaking up the sun, and swimming in the refreshing ocean. The staff at ISLAND CENTER POINT were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. Their warm hospitality added an extra layer of comfort to our stay and made us feel right at home. However, one aspect that could be improved is the mosquito situation. While the rooms are clean and spacious with stunning views of the ocean, the presence of mosquitoes can be quite bothersome. Installing mosquito nets in the rooms would greatly enhance the comfort of guests and ensure a restful night's sleep. Overall, ISLAND CENTER POINT offers a tranquil escape to paradise, with its breathtaking scenery and welcoming atmosphere. With a few improvements, it has the potential to become an even more unforgettable destination for travelers seeking serenity and natural beauty.

Cute hotel rooms , sliding doors to an air conditioned bedroom. Lots of beach beds with curtains. Close to other restaurants with Happy Hour deals. Breakfast was decent. Only recommendation is to include a mirror in the rooms as they are only in a few of them.

A modern beach hotel with rooms set on the edge of the beach area. Rooms are single storey in terraces, but noise travels between rooms very easily, doors bang incessantly. The bathrooms are semi outdoor with “natural” drains into the sand. Staff pleasant and helpful. Lovely shaded cabanas on the beach with curtains set up each day.

We booked a deluxe sea view room at Island Center Point and it was stunning. Everything in the room was finished to a high standard: quality furniture, a comfortable bed and a beautiful outdoor bathroom with luxury toiletries. We were able to step straight from the terrace of our room onto the beach where there are lovely cabanas dotted around. The staff were all delightful, friendly and eager to help whenever they were needed. Island Center Point is towards the end of the bay closest to the jetty where the ferry drops you. It’s very quiet which suited us, we were able to dip in and out of the livelier bars further along the bay whenever we wanted and then return to the peace and comfort of our resort. It feels as though there is still work going on (not that we were in the least disturbed) and I imagine things will only improve as it becomes more established. Saracen bay is lovely, the sand is probably the best I’ve ever come across - it’s like talcum powder. On the two days we were there our side of the island was very breezy, which we were told is often the case in the dry season - this was actually very nice and kept the temperature down but for a change of scenery we also followed the signs and walked across the island to Lazy Beach where you could have been on a different island everything was so calm. There is a lovely bar and restaurant on Lazy Beach which I would also recommend. Breakfast is buffet style in the restaurant and caters to all tastes but a small criticism would be that staff were slow to replenish food that had run out. The restaurant is open all day and serves dinner in the evening but it was very quiet on both the nights we stayed - it’s set back from the beach and to me it lacked atmosphere at night and didn’t appear to draw people in. Given the other very positive reviews about the food I would see this as a great opportunity to make things more inviting and then I’m sure good trade would follow. All in all I would highly recommend.

I arrived with high expectations after reading the superb reviews on *********** and Tripadvisor but was still pleasantly surprised: Firstly, the location was conveniently close to the pier but the beach was not heavily trafficked. The guest rooms blended right into the landscape like the huts I saw on other part of the island, but are much more beautiful, luxurious, with impeccable upkeep, and peaceful (if peace is important to you, there is construction on other parts of the island so check before you book); Secondly, the food. They have the best beef lok lak anywhere--it was tasty, tender, nothing else I've had comes even close; Last but not least, the staff. Mr. San and Ms. Seak were wonderful--their hospitality and care felt totally genuine. Ms. Seak helped me book my transportation to my next destination (which was not the most straightforward) and assisted me via whatsapp until I got to where I need to be. Frankly, I felt happier here than at some of the 6-star resorts I've stayed in the past. This will be my only choice of accommodation the next time I visit Koh Rong Sanleom.

This place is beautiful! Right on the seashore with gorgeous well appointed rooms!! The restaurant is excellent also, lovely staff and delicious food. The “lost” fifth star is for poor internet connection (very intermittent) and in spite of the ad that we relied on, there is no pool or hot tub “yet”. There is a great deal of building going on at the site, so maybe soon? Really beautiful place!!!

This new resort is on quiet Saracen Beach. The ocean facing room was very bright and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was of excellent quality and well presented. All staff acted very professionally. Special mention however, should be given to Ly and trainee, Vibol. From our initial welcome, to arranging a private boat tour, suggesting walks around the island and organising tractor transport to the ferry pier at the conclusion of our stay, they went out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay.
