Seoul Rakkojae Bukchon Pension

Beautiful traditional property and great location at the center of bukchon village. Love the feel of being in a local neighborhood. This is walking distance to a lot of restaurants, hanok houses, palaces, little shops and coffee houses, and small museums. We absolutely enjoyed our experience here but I also realize that this kind of housing is not for everyone. They also provide hanbok for you to wear within the property grounds. Every inch of the property is picturesque and goes perfect with the hanbok. The staff is great and took a lot of amazing photos for us. We had a small trouble using the gate key on our way back to dinner on our first time. It was pouring rain and the emergency contact spoke little English. As it turned out, you have to touch the keypad first. It might benefit the guests if there's an instruction for this near the gate. Food is just ok for us but it's not an issue as there are plenty of options very close to it.

Really happy with my stay here! would definitely be back, such a pretty traditional place and you can take really nice photos as they provide you hanbok to wear as well. The staffs were really polite and provided top notch service. Place is really clean and food is really yummy too. Thanks for making my stay memorable (:

우리에게는 익숙하지만 외국인이나 2000년도 이후에 태어난 분들에게는 낯선 그런 전통 한옥입니다. TV에서만 보던 전통 한옥을 숙박을 통해 직접 체험 해 볼 수 있으며 시간에 따라 변하는 풍경이 주는 경험은 다른 호텔에서는 경험 할 수 없는 락고재만의 독특한 특징입니다. 객실 내부는 현대적으로 개조 되어 편안한 투숙이 가능하며, 조식 또한 한식과 양식이 선택이 가능하여 입맛에 맞게 즐길 수 있습니다. 다음에 기회가 된다면 한 번 더 방문하고 싶습니다. :)
