Valoraciones de Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun (Myeongdong)

Excelente ubicación, excelente precio, limpio, solo que el espacio es un poco pequeño, ¡pero eso es lo que se espera en una excelente ubicación!

En general, la estadía fue agradable. La ubicación era excelente y el servicio al cliente fue de primera. Mi esposo solicitó una habitación con una buena vista porque era mi viaje de cumpleaños y nos dieron la vista del templo, que era muy agradable y la habitación con mejor vista. Las habitaciones y el baño en general eran un poco pequeños y las opciones de desayuno eran repetitivas y limitadas. Ojalá lo cambiaran o tuvieran más opciones.

Bathroom toiletries are limited, room’s a little small for the price I paid, hotel breakfast spread and taste aren’t great too. Not really a good value for money

Located at the heart of seoul. Eveything was located at walking distance. But furnitures can be updates as they are showing lots of wear and tear. Room is tiny and i could smell urine in around toilet. But, due to location, I will come back.

the hotel was a conveniently located, walkable distance to gyeonnbokgung, insadong and bukchon hanok village. and the staff was friendly and informative. willing to stay here again when visiting seoul next time!

The room was very tidy and clean with a nice view with a sunrise. Bathtub was slightly slippery but was able to enjoy a hot bath every night. Gym is slightly on the small side but has most things you'd look for in a quick gym sesh so it was alright in the end.

I recently stayed at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun for four nights and had a great overall experience. The hotel's location is great as it is situated at an area less crowded with tourists, yet still very convenient. It’s within walking distance of several subway stations, with plenty of eateries and a convenience store at level 1 of the building. The room was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. It did get a bit warm in the afternoons, but fortunately, it cooled down by night thanks to the pleasant weather during my stay. One area for improvement would be the lighting near the level 1 lift area—it felt too dim and could benefit from better illumination. That said, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a comfortable place to stay in a less busy part of Seoul.

Unbearably hot rooms (27-28 degrees) at night due to centralised air conditioning system, which you could not adjust.

We recently stayed at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun for 12 days. The location was excellent, being relatively uncrowded with tourists and conveniently within walking distance to two subway stations: Gwanghwamun and Jonggak. However, our stay was somewhat marred by a few issues. The breakfast menu remained the same throughout our entire stay, which became repetitive. Additionally, the room cleaning was inconsistent, although the rooms were generally well-maintained. We also experienced issues with the room temperature, which didn't cool down sufficiently despite adjustments. Fortunately, my room was provided with an additional blower, which helped. On the positive side, the fitness center was well-equipped with a good range of equipment. Overall, while the location was a highlight, there were some areas for improvement in terms of breakfast variety and room maintenance.

The hotel is good in general. Good bed, okay breakfast. The room is very noisy. Loud equipment on the rooftop and the chanting of the nearby temple are constantly noticeable.

The location is excellent, with numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. It's just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, making it easy to get around. Being less than 800 meters from Gwanghwamun is perfect for morning runs during my stay.

Good location around 5 min to Jonggak station..many eateries and good ones just opposite the hotel. Lobby on 8 floor and room are reasonably size for single business traveller.

The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t control the air conditioner temperature myself since they said it was centrally controlled. These few days in Korea have been burning hot. In the end, the location is really good. It is close to Myeong-dong, and it is easy for me to go to KSPO DOME.
