The hostel is in an amazing location close to the main tourist area and bus stops for transportation. The convenience of being able to easily explore the city was definitely a highlight of my stay. Additionally, the AC worked well, which made for a comfortable stay. However, I was disappointed with the condition of the bathrooms (in our private suite), which had a strong smell of mold that made it difficult to use them comfortably. Also, I have to say that the owners/workers were the unfriendliest people I've ever encountered at a hostel. They seemed disinterested (and out right hostile at some points) whenever we asked questions about the hostel or Santorini.

Las islas santas son hoteles familiares, no hoteles urbanos que todo el mundo imagina. En comparación, este hotel es más rentable, con un ambiente tranquilo, una piscina y cenar en el restaurante mirando el paisaje exterior, ¡también es una especie de acogedor!

Basado en las otras opiniones, creo que su kilómetro aquí puede variar en función de la habitación que recibe. Veo que otros que permanecieron en las mismas habitaciones (pequeño, nivel de suelo, dormitorio sin puerta, sólo acceso a la habitación de baño a través de la segunda habitación, etc.) también dejó malos comentarios. Las habitaciones que teníamos eran muy pequeñas y desconfortables, las puertas exteriores que apenas se cerraron, y el olor constante de la basura lo hizo realmente menos que un lugar cómodo. No hay TV si te importa, pero el wifi era excelente. Hay también una vista cero, que es una vergüenza. No se desvie de la promesa de un “tubo caliente”. Es un asunto inflable, y no es muy limpio. Además, cuidado, hay una cámara que se apunta justo en ella. El desayuno era bueno, pero no un gran punto de venta para nosotros. terminamos aquí como reservamos el último minuto. Honestamente, realmente lamento que, debido a la falta de confort, falta de sueño debido a las horribles camas, el olor realmente horrible (todavía pienso en ese olor cuando recuerdo Santorini), En resumen, la ubicación es excelente, pero el lugar es más que un poco bruto. Además, el precio no era grande por lo que nos dio. La moral de esta historia es un libro temprano, y buscar más duro opciones mejores.

Thank you, Renta and staff, for a memorable stay in Santorini. I had some doubts about the suites’ location overlooking the Caldera and the climbing that might be required, but the hotel is easily accessible with lovely gentlemen who take your luggage down to your room and pick it up when you are ready to leave. The accommodations are roomy, well appointed, and have an incredible view of the sea. We had our own patio where we could eat an ample breakfast delivered every morning. On these same mornings when we were very lucky, a parade of donkeys and one mule would clop by the path near the hotel, carrying materials to nearby sites. Of course our stay in November meant that many restaurants and shops in Imeroviglia were closed, but Fira is nearby. Renta will call Nico to give you a ride into town. Both of them are so gracious and accommodating that we very much enjoyed our stay. Following Renta’s advice, we took the catamaran tour of the Caldera, a must for seeing the Caldera from the sea. The plus side of Santorini in November is a complete lack of crowds. Our weather was sunny and in the seventies every day, which may have been a Greek anomaly but perfect for us. I highly recommend the Aqua Luxury suites and staff.

El desayuno no está mal, tenemos una suite de luna de miel, la ubicación es excelente ~ la habitación es grande ~ el único inconveniente es que está lejos de la parada de autobús, la hora de salida es a las 12 del mediodía y no hay calefacción después de las 11 p.m. El agua es desaparecido.

El hotel está situado en las colinas idílicas, a una distancia de las calles de otros hoteles y con vistas panorámicas al mar. La hostal estaba caliente y acomodando incluso en la edición durante la estancia y solicitando mis solicitudes de desayuno cada mañana. La piscina privada de mi suite fue la adición perfecta a mi estancia considerando que yo era un viajero solo que no quería tener que ir a la playa sólo para un rápido descenso. Seguro que será el destino perfecto para las parejas que buscan un romántico camino.

Summary: This hotel is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it is all hills and steps (pretty steep, slippery and lots of them!). We will not be recommending or returning to this hotel! And probably not return to Santorini, which is suffering from too many tourists, especially large cruise ships without the infrastructure to cope! Sucha a shame for a pretty island. BTW. We fell in love with all the other islands we visited during our Greek island hopping holiday. Back to Nano Suites! All the TripAdvisor 5* ratings persuaded us to book this hotel. A mistake! Some of the reviews have negative comments and yet still rated as 5* !!! Also, I can now see that one review was NOT for this hotel because it mentions being “right in the middle of Oía”. This is obviously a different hotel! The good bits: Sunrise in a peaceful, quiet setting. Clean, spacious, beautifully furnished rooms. Ali and Marios are helpful, lovely, gentle men. The not-so good bits: 5 min walk from their car park up a steep slope of uneven, slippery, difficult cobble steps! The hotel is built on a hill so every public room is on a different level with steep unaided steps i.e. no rails. The rooms have air condenser units and air conditioning units because the rooms are and damp! This, means noise all day and NIGHT! The breakfast food is very average. We had 3 weeks on 4 different islands in the Cyclades. The food here was the worst we had! There is no manager “on the ground”. Meggy stays in the office; busy with administration. We planned to use the bus service having been told that the bus stops in the village. However, the bus does’s stop on the village any more, but on the main road with an impossible walk to the hotel. My fist husband found it hard with our bags. It was impossible for me with replacement hips and slightly weak muscles. I’m not disabled at all, but the walk from the bus stop is not suitable for those with any mobility limitation. The village restaurants are difficult walks steep slopes of uneven, slippery, difficult cobble steps! We ate at the village restaurants: Metaxi Max and Anemoloos. Anemoloos is a friendly, family-run restaurant; the food is OK and average price for Santorini. Metaxi Max is suffering from it’s success and greed - see my separate review for Metaxi Mas.

Lugar muy agradable en el pequeño pueblo de Finika al lado de Oia, a unos quince minutos a pie. Ambiente agradable y habitación bien equipada. Suficiente comodidad para pasar hermosas noches con tu pareja. El personal es muy atento y los desayunos son muy generosos y variados. Lo recomiendo para viajeros que gustan de un poco de tranquilidad.

Reservamos este hermoso pequeño lugar sin saber lo que esperar, pero se ha demostrado ser un hall fantastico. Pros: - Las habitaciones son muy limpias y muy espaciosas - Las camas son extremadamente cómodas - El desayuno es hermoso y fresco - Cerca del centro de Oia - Los propietarios son extremadamente útiles y amigables - La zona exterior es pintoresca y tiene vistas increíbles - La selección hermosa de restaurantes cerca - Ruta de autobús y transporte a otras áreas está cerca de Cons: - Wi-Fi no parecía funcionar muy bien a veces - Agua caliente parecía correr muy rápido Sólo un par de pequeñas cosas para mover, ¡Pero no puedo quejarte de los fondos que hemos pagado y de la calidad que hemos conseguido!

We have just returned from our week stay at The Notos and this hotel has definitely got the wow factor. It is a traditional white building built into the hillside overlooking the harbour, the latter is what gives it the wow factor I could watch this view every day and never tire of it. This does come at cost though and I'm not talking about the euros but the many steep steps up to the hotel and the rooms it's definitely not for anyone with mobility issues. The rooms are immaculate and something we have found is a rarity during our travels around Greece the beds are soft and very comfortable. The sheets and towels are looking a bit dingy as their whiteness has long gone! There are complimentary toiletries and the aircon is included this being very welcoming after the heat of the sun. The staff are very polite and helpful and I recommend you ask for help with the cases instead of struggling with them on the steps as they make it look easy! We have only one complaint and that's the food, we had decided to go half board as the hotel is quite remote and we don't drive but we were disappointed. The breakfast was ok offering the usual fruit, yoghurt, meat, cheese ,bread, greek bacon and sausage with a couple of choices of bread . There was no English tea and the coffee machine wasn't amazing. Our main complaint was the evening meal , the choice was very limited and basic which for a hotel with this star rating is in our opinion not good enough. The ala carte menu was equivalent of a beach bar menu with the first item being chicken nuggets but with a price tag that belongs to a fine dining restaurant . The cost of the drinks was extortionate too €10 for 330ml of a bottle of Sol or €8 for the same of alpha and if you like a bottle of wine with your meal expect to pay €43 for house white. So would I recommend this hotel, absolutely but bed and breakfast only and hire a car as there is very little in the way of choice ( Suzy's up the road is excellent!) and taxis are expensive. There is a land train that charges €8 a return trip to Perissa where there are many tavernas and snack bars.
