There are no words to explain how wonderful Moar Gut is. It really is such a special place. The food is exceptional. The kids club is amazing and our kids adored it (the language barrier really didn’t matter). Our waiter Damien was fantastic - he went above and beyond particularly when it came to food allergies as did the amazing chefs. Kevin also stands out as extremely competent and friendly. Both waiters really helped in making our holiday. Our only concerns were 1) we are not sure it would suit everyone that groups of staff are allowed to sit by the pool/use the pool on their breaks etc… On occasion they could be quite loud 2) Unfortunately there was a gastro bug going round and we felt the hotel management could have done more to raise awareness and aid prevention. The kids club said children could Re-enter after symptoms had stopped for 24 hours. However with gastro bugs it is usually a minimum 48 hours. We would really like to see updated protocols with regards to kids club/sanitation etc.. to avoid this ever happening again. On picking up our baby from the infant room, we got given the wrong dummy/water beaker a few times which was a little concerning. However these are two very minor criticisms in what was an exceptional holiday in the most glorious setting.

We spend a week (skiing) at Moar Gut and having travelled a lot over the years never seen anything like it. The children can enjoy an underground play area that surpasses any kids club with a variety of activities. The little farm is beautifully set and animals well kept. The pool has sufficient space and a surprisingly big slide for the size of the hotel. Our 3 year old joined the 2 hour morning ski school for 4 sessions and that’s been absolutely fantastic (slope is right next to the terrace of the restaurant). Adults can indulge in the incredible food, but the spa is an absolute highlight. Gorgeous setting, very tranquil and good selection of well priced trea**ents. Rooms are good. We’ve opted for a family suite (Salbei) to have the bunk bed in the main bedroom (our toddler doesn’t sleep reliably in a separate room). There is definitely a set-up for any requirement if you have a different preference and the option to upgrade to the new suits that are beautiful, but come with the matching price tag (the grandparents stayed in one of the smaller ones and highly recommend it). For a family hotel in particular it’s amazing how spotless clean it is. Service is incredible - the reception staff and our waitress Elisabeth have been some of the best hotel staff we’ve come across globally. If you have kids that are 2-7 years just book! Even outside this range there is plenty to do and good reasons to go.

Moar Gut is my happy place!!! Do not hesitate to book a stay at this exquisite property! You will not be disappointed. Every detail is thought out-- the service is phenomenal, the food is gourmet, the rooms are superb, and the new Spa facilities are AMAZING. We have stayed at many luxurious resorts throughout the world and Moar Gut is definitely our favorite when traveling with our children (ages 8, 5, and 2). The staff is incredibly friendly and truly goes above and beyond. We had challenges during travel-- canceled flights and lost luggage. This led to a delayed arrival. Not only was Moar Gut gracious in their flexibility, but they also upgraded our room. This was our second visit and are already planning a return! We spent a few weeks traveling around Europe and staying here was the highlight of our children's vacation (for me too).

I really loved this holiday. The people that made is special was Elizabeth from front desk, Katharina, Susan and Lucas, and Sarah from the restaurant, Marcus from the kitchen when we had the kids kitchen party. The sommelier was also fantastic. And of course Gusti was the best! We are pescatarian and don’t take dairy products - which is atypical of Austrian food - at one point there was some misunderstandings, and the named staff above really heard our needs, and then stepped up in providing service that makes it an international experience, while providing a beautiful, home away from home. The spa trea**ents was lovely, I felt very relaxed in the massage and facial trea**ents. And the kids had a great time in the ski lessons and also the stable with the horses are so special. Big kids enjoyed doing the horse riding also, and the animals are peaceful, well looked after, and happy. We will be back this summer.

Our lovely ski trip has turned into a complete nigh**are ,Not because of the hotel (which was amazing) but because of the Toni Gruber Ski School that the Moar Gut recommended and uses by default at their hotel with the kids ski school and private lessons on the slopes , the Ski school insists they are exclusive to the Moar Gut hotel. We have had a very negative experience at Toni Gruber Ski School -Julia Roele, the ski instructor lost 2 of my children today and never once alerted anyone that they were missing for more than an hour! They are 7 and 9 and had to ski down red slopes on their own and take the gondola on their own . Julia then proceeded to take my two daughters down the red slopes to try to look for them - putting my daughters in danger who are inexperienced and new skiers - my daughter fell off the ski lift and she didn’t care to help- she carried on going up without her . My eldest daughter (11) asked to message us to let us know what had happened and Julia said Not under any circumstances is she allowed to call us. By chance we saw them coming out of the gondola at one of the stations BY THEMSELVES . They are completely traumatised Be aware of choosing them for your children , PLEASE do not recommend them because Toni (Owner of Toni Gruber ski school) and Julia refuse to be held accountable and people’s lives are at risk. Toni was very arrogant with us when questioned upon what had happened . He never apologised once or took accountability. We switched to Panaroma and had a much better experience, whom also prioritises safety on the slopes. Please DO NOT use Toni Gruber ski school, they are negligent and not worth it at all.

Six of us spanning three generations stayed in a three bedroom suite. Second time to visit Moar Gut. Amazing place equally appealing to 7 and 10 year olds as it was to 70 year old grandparents. Very attentive staff, outstanding food and so much to do. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back!
