We stayed for 4 nights in late April/early May. Our honest opinion is there is much to be very happy with ....but, there are a few things which prevented our stay from being excellent. The location is perfect if you want to explore Salzburg and the surrounding area. Parking is easily available and we also made use of the local bus service to get into Salzburg, using the app and buying a 24 hour card. The bus stop is a short walk away. The hotel has been designed to an exceptionally high modern standard. The finish, the furnishings, the decoration, the cleanliness - it's all very good indeed. There are other special touches, including access to hot drinks throughout the day from a good coffee machine. This was appreciated. Our room was a small double, finished to an excellent standard. Clean, with large walk in shower. We felt one of our mattresses (two single beds pushed together to make a double) was very uncomfortable, to the point of back ache and not a great night's sleep. We swapped sides part way through our stay to minimise the problem - One mattress was comfortable. One was awful. We were surprised to be woken up by housekeeping entering our room, shortly after 8am one morning. That's a bit early to be wanting to service bedrooms. Almost all of the staff we interacted with were friendly although we can't say everyone was, especially when they were busy. The breakfast staff were less friendly. Breakfast was a mixed, inconsistent experience. On the best days there was lots of choice and good quality items. On a couple of days, some items weren't replaced or topped up quickly enough - eg) croissants, eggs. One morning, we waited for a table for almost 25 minutes, with no acknowledgement from the staff and no queue. Other guests even jumped ahead of us to grab a table. That wasn't good, at all. The next couple of days we chose to have breakfast much earlier, which solved that problem. On check in, we were given a map of local restaurants, all a short drive away. We did go to a local pizzeria, which was acceptable. It's such a shame that there are no restaurant or bar facilities at the hotel, which would have made all of the difference for us. We would have really liked to enjoy an evening meal or even just drinks, at the hotel, after a busy day sightseeing. Our feedback is given with sincerity and is not a complaint. The hotel is beautiful and we would return. There are just some tweaks which would have made our experience better.

When I was looking for a hotel for a 1-night stay in Salzburg, I stumbled upon the listing for the Hyperion and took a chance. I wasn't familiar with the Hyperion hotel brand and didn't know much about Salzburg. Now, I have fallen under the spell of both the hotel and the city. The Hyperion is a fairly new hotel and it is in pristine shape. The room is rather generously sized compared to most of the European hotels I have stayed in thus far. The bathroom was particularly good -- with an American-style shower that featured both a handheld wand and a rain shower head. The separate water closet was a plus. The technology in the room (especially the lighting tech) is impressive, if not slightly confusing. Nice touch to have the Nescafe machine and the Mozart chocolates. The bed was very comfortable. The location, next to Mirabell Gardens, was great. The hotel staff was helpful. We arrived early, and the front desk gave us tips on how to spend our afternoon, drawing out some local attractions on the map and suggesting we get a Salzburg card (we already had them). They also gave us a recommendation for dinner, but we were turned away at the restaurant, which was full. In stead, we dined at the restaurant in the hotel, which was quite nice. Service was solid. Breakfast is a tad expensive, but they do offer a wide assortment of breakfast items (hot and cold) as well as eggs made to order. Champagne was also available for mimosas. Nice touch.

Très belle chambre spacieuse et très pratique. Grande salle de bain. Pas de clim mais ventilateur. Calme. Sans accueil sur place donc faire le Check avant. Internet difficile sur place. À 30 mins de marche du centre ville. Possible de faire café et thé dans la chambre et plusieurs supermarchés à proximité. L’accès à l’immeuble est pas très chaleureux.

El hotel está en una ubicación excelente. Justo fuera de la estación de tren. Las habitaciones están limpias y tiene hervidor eléctrico en la habitación. Esto es especialmente útil para preparar una taza de té caliente después de regresar de un largo y cansado día de turismo. El personal del hotel también es amable. Recomiendo encarecidamente alojarse en este hotel.

Todo el personal del hotel es muy amigable y útil. El cuarto tenía cocina (no habíamos reservado más que un simple doble) por lo que era una característica muy agradable, inesperada. Baño moderno, fuerte ducha caliente, camas extremadamente cómodas. El desayuno buffet fue bien presentado en una agradable sala de comedor y con una gran variedad de opciones.

Eerste hotel op onze fietstocht van Salzburg naar Grado.. kamers zijn ruim, netjes en een goede service.ligt bij de Messe, met de fiets in 10 minuten in de Altstadt. Prima ontbijt! Helaas was grote restaurant niet open maar kon je wel eten in de bar…. Beperkte keuze waarbij wij een lekkere salade hebben gegeten

We were on our way to Greece and needed a place to stay the night. This hotel is just next to the highway and next to a McDonald's. So you have to eat and don't lose time through the city. They offer a parking space without charging as well and the check in was possible till late in the evening. The price is very good, the room nothing special but exactly what we needed. The pillows could be more comfortable but otherwise nothing to complaint.

El hotel está reservado para nuestras vacaciones de esquí sólo 60-90 minutos de muchos centros de esquí. El autobús es demasiado opuesto con el número 4 de autobús que corre cada 20 minutos hasta aproximadamente 2230 horas. El costo de un solo es de 3 euros (sólo toma dinero en autobús). Ellos también ofrecen un billete de día para €4.50 pero no estoy seguro si tienes que comprar esto de una máquina como no lo ofreció en autobús. El hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad, y el hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer. ¡No conocer ninguna información sobre cosas básicas como los autobuses!

Stay one nite at this hotel on our way to Salzburg. It’s located at an exit to a highway. There’s a Burger King next door and Adidas factory outlet also nearby. Our room for 2 pax is small. Cleanliness is also questionable as we found dusts and furs in the room. Facilities in the room is very limited. No fridge, no boiler to make hot water and no wardrobe. You will need to go down to the coffee house to get hot water. Breakfast is quite good though. Overall, quite disappointing stay.

We wanted to stay outside the city to avoid crazy hotel prices for a short drive. NO REGRETS. This hotel was pretty perfect. The VIEW alone was worth it. We had a Mountain View, amazing breakfast buffet, friendly customer service, good prices, clean rooms, wifi, etc. If you’re staying here during the summer and are driving here, I recommend bringing a fan because there aren’t any in the room. That was my one issue. The shower is also somewhat small, but in my experience, that is normal in Europe. Overall, I would definitely come here again! This hotel is also walking distance to a grocery store, playground, bakery, etc.
