"The hotel is charming and well located, but it falls short of a true 5-star experience. As frequent travelers who enjoy staying in luxury 5-star hotels around the world, we were disappointed that La Villa Mauresque didn’t live up to the level of service expected. We often stay at a particular 5-star hotel in Cassis that sets a much higher standard. Unfortunately, our sea view room at La Villa Mauresque did not match what was advertised on the website. We had to repeatedly request room service because it was overlooked, though the staff were kind and accommodating. The most frustrating moment was when we reserved a table for dinner at Bougainvillier and were told there were no available spots on the terrace. We suggested being seated under the pergola, where there were no guests, but the waiter refused, saying it was too far for the staff to serve. Minutes later, however, the staff set up chairs for a group of eight in that very area. This left us feeling undervalued as customers. Additionally, there are only two on-site restaurants. While Olivier offers a beautiful view, the menu is limited, and as we visited towards the end of the season, even fewer options were available. There were 2 starters and 2 main dishes out of 3 that were not available. The waitress was lovely and empathetic but unable to resolve the situation. Also, every Monday the other restaurant, the Bougainvillier is closed. It’s unfortunate because La Villa Mauresque has the potential to be a wonderful place to stay, but due to these issues, we won’t be returning."

"The hotel is located right on the beachfront, which is super convenient. I had a side sea view. The sun didn't shine much, which was actually a plus for me. Breakfast was good, with hot dishes available. My room had either a kettle or a coffee machine. I asked to swap for a coffee machine on my last day but was refused. I extended my stay for one more day. Tatyana was working and she speaks Russian, which might be helpful for some. I'll definitely be back."

Absolutely unorganised, trash all over hotel, food disgusting, kids club and outside playground was dirty and was smelling so bad.. the breakfast was disgusting smelling bad, dirty plates , food wasn’t fresh.. The room was nothing special , there wasn’t even a bottle of water for the customers. I had a horrible experience and I will definitely not come back !!"

La dama del bar en la piscina era muy amable y nos hizo beber cocktails en el sol. ¡Nos encantaba el estacionamiento y podíamos cargar nuestro coche también!"

"Very disappointing for a so-called 4 stars The hotel is clearly located in Saint-Raphaël, but it's the only positive point. The frame is very old, nothing to do with the photos that give an impression of modernity. In fact, everything seems to date from another era: old furniture, outdated decoration, bathroom of another time (hospital type plastic dust, other age shower pad...). The room is small, without the comfort you expect from a 4 star, rather the level of a 3 star, or even less. Only the shower pressure is correct, but it's the only thing that reminds a “normal” shower. And above all, attention to the cathedral right next door: the clocks sound very early in the morning, then at every hour for several minutes."

Lo que probablemente recordemos fue el hermoso personal que hizo todo lo que podía para hacer las cosas fáciles para nosotros."
