I booked a room at this place on the day before my stay, so I think I got a particularly good room rate. Anyway, it was certainly worth it for the price. Nice furnishings, comfortable. I just stayed for 1N and had to leave early the day after, so I didn't get to try the breakfast - which is a shame as the restaurant was very nice for dinner!.

This is a pleasant hotel and the rooms and breakfast were more than OK. Sadly, on the night of our visit, the restaurant was closed so we were sent to a nearby place for diner about 5 kilometres away which was excellent. There is some parking though not enough I think if all rooms are occupied.

The best small hotel for food and service. The owners Aline and Dan were fantastic. Aline at font of house was an amazing host, so professional and thorough in all she did. Dan was the chef and he really knew how to produce fantastic food at a very reasonable price. Hotel is well situated for the ferry at Cherbourg and should definitely be a stopover. Lovely quiet garden with good garden furniture. Don't miss it. Thanks for a great 2 nights we will stay here again on any French trip.

There is so much to see where Normandie and Bretagne come together. Even, as we were, traveling a further distance the next day, it is relaxing to stop in a quiet village at a small and immaculate hotel with a wonderful restaurant (see my separate review). This is a 3 star and a Logis de France. The room amenities are appropriate for that category and the price point , although the bed could have been a bit firmer and the shower head fixture fixed more tightly. We had to use it as a hand held device. Our room was on the "first floor", up 17 small steps. Ground floor rooms are available if you have a problem with the steps. The private parking and garden are real assets. The breakfast was satisfactory, although we wish more French realized how mediocore is Nescafe coffee! Freshly squeezed orange juice and local yogurt were delightful. The staff really cares to make your stay as comfortable and rewarding as possible. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Some of the facilities in the bedroom need attention - shower head doesn't fit in the holder so can't shower without holding the head. Door catch faulty to bathroom.

A gem of an hotel in a quaint little village near to Avranches. The room overlooked the garden so was quiet -comfortable bed although pillows could be better. Very clean with bath and shower and separate toilet. However the best thing was the food - superb 3 course dinner - great value - our mains were pork fillet and fillet of cod - both excellent. Desserts were yummy - strawberry ‘soup’ and a plum tart. Staff were lovely and welcoming - especially in the restaurant which was busy for a Tuesday night. Excellent stop on way to Brittany- we highly recommend.

I stayed at Le Gue du Holme for work. Two great nights, the room was super clean, with lots of space and well decorated. The food at the restaurant is wonderful, the outside garden and patio is beautiful and everything well maintained. Also very quiet, so you get a great night sleep. Excellent Hotel!
