21C Museum Hotel St Louis

Location in proximity to city attractions is amazing 5/5. Location in terms of safety is 2/5. There isn’t a covered secured lot for your car and I was approached by many people asking me for money while taking a walk around the building. Service is hit or miss. When I arrived, and attempted to open my car door, I was accosted by the valet who yelled at me and asked me what I was TRYING to do. I told him I was checking in to the hotel. And he was aggressively unpleasant, seemingly angry that I had arrived. Conversely, the valet attendant the next day was polite and wonderful. The front desk was nice but did not review any of the amenities nor offer any information about the hotel, which is a shame. Nice but inattentive and uninterested. The service at both Idol Wolf and Good Press were 5/5. The food at both were 5/5. The hotel itself is gorgeous. There’s art set in an old gym. The renovation is well done. Enjoyed it very much. The view from the room was also very nice. The room itself was standard with a few attention to detail things needing addressed. Such as broken handles and non working bathroom fixtures. Overall would recommend this hotel because it is unique. Big plus - they allow pets!!! Yes!

This is my 3rd 21c I’ve stayed at and my favorite so far! Everything was lovely and charming and Idol Wolf, the restaurant, was superb! Thank you for a fantastic weekend!

We had to make an unexpected trip to St. Louis and stayed at 21C because we appreciate the concept and the location was convenient. It was beyond amazing. The food and drinks were exceptional. The staff from all departments were very friendly. Definitely will recommend. A++

$45/night for parking is ridiculous, especially when paying over $200 a night for the room. Shower faucet was broken.

My stay was great. This will be my first choice for hotel in STL. The staff, accommodations, museum and food were great. I would recommend that the valet let cars warm in the winter and the cafe have an extended breakfast on weekends and find some a way warm breads and pastries.

This hotel was awesome! The room was super nice and clean, and the amenities around the entire hotel were great. The bar and bartenders were super friendly, and great drinks too. I would definitely stay here again!

Love the hotel/museum vibe. Bar is great. But the room didn’t have heat. It’s been 4 degrees here all weekend. They sent up a maintenance man to fix, however he didn’t. Our room has been 50 degrees for 3 days.

This was my birthday weekend and I wanted to celebrate by being in a nice comfortable hotel, spending time with significant other. I had hoped to have a great time according to the reviews that were left about this hotel, but that was far from my experience. First off I woke up to a cold room, so cold that I was unable to shower. Me and my significant other had to stay under the covers. After sitting for so long we decided to go and get breakfast. This was a huge disappointment, the items that we ordered were extremely small portions and we did not get full at all but the bill was $50.00 dollars. By this time my daughter had begun calling the front desk to complain of the issue as I had communicated to her how frustrating the whole experience was. We left breakfast, still hungry and headed back only to still experience a cold room. After several hours or so, maintenance came to the room and stated that the thermostat was registering at 70 degrees. We were then told that we would be moved to another room. We went to another and finally had heat. I was able to take a shower and had some hope of enjoying my birthday weekend. We thought about trying dinner at Idol Wolf Restaurant. Another bad idea. We did not see many vegan options and had to order $60.00 worth of food to alleviate the hunger pains, but we were still hungry. The next morning, day of checkout, we were annoyed by constant knocking on our door at 9am.DISAPPOINTED, OVERRATED AND REFUND!! WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN!!!

It was a problem checking at first, then the room with end up with witch it was not an upgrade. The air vent made to much noise and the bed sheets where stain. It smell like an old odder in the room and to much noise at night time.
