Urban Style Hotel de l'Europe

If you plan to stay one day, it's ok. I stayed in a very small room w/a smaller bathroom. the room was full of colored pictures making it smaller. But staff was nice, breakfast ok and for just onde night was good.

Positive Aspect: Location: The hotel was conveniently located, which made it easy to access various attractions and amenities in the area. Negative Aspects: Room Size: The room I stayed in was very small, making it feel cramped and uncomfortable. Poor Ventilation: The room lacked proper ventilation, resulting in a stuffy and unpleasant odor. Noise Disturbance: Unfortunately, my room was located next to the linen room, which meant that the staff’s activities woke us up early in the morning, disrupting our sleep. Low-Quality Towels: The towels provided in the room were small and threadbare, not meeting the expected standards of comfort. Overpriced Breakfast: The hotel offered breakfast for 15 Euros, which I found to be unreasonably expensive for a French breakfast. As a result, I chose to have breakfast outside the hotel and found a more affordable and satisfying option. Lack of Parking: One of the inconveniences I encountered was the absence of parking facilities at the hotel. This forced me to pay an additional 32 Euros for parking during my stay. Language Barrier: The hotel staff’s inability to communicate in English was frustrating, especially in a tourist-oriented hotel.

Very good experience, nice place and all is perfect. Only bed pillows too hard.

Great check in – young lady gave us directions and sites to see with lots of enthusiasm. Very convenient for walking around Rouen. Room was small even for two people.

A well located hotel and within easy walking distance to all the sights. A lot of restaurants near by and approximately 20-25 minutes walk from the train station. A bit dated with a cute concept as if the room was a train. Bed was comfortable and the bedding very clean. I tried breakfast but maybe I wasn't lucky that day but it did not taste fresh. I would stay here again.

Awesome hotel rooms, great location, awesome owner. On site bar with a great selection of Calvados. It's on our bucket list to go again. There is a long boat port nearby, so a cruise visit is an option. Our favorite Indian restaurant restaurant ever, Le Rajasthan, is walking distance.

Located in a convenient part of the city this is handy hotel to tour Rouen. However, we felt that much more could be done to up the game of this place in competing against the chains which have a more out of town location generally. A plus is the decor which was funky comic ***** for our room. However, on the hottest weekend the lack of air con is a real issue. We had to have the windows open all night and were woken very early on. Internally there were a few issues notably the bath plug whose mechanism had broken and had to be operated by hand. Generally a good hotel but one that needs a little care and attention. Parking is in the Indigo car park around the corner. It's payable but given location to be expected. As with all french car parks expect a tight squeeze unless driving the smallest vehicle.
