Clean, large place, welcoming staff. Located close to Wadi Bani Khalif and the dessert (about half an hour drive). A bit run down, some details could be improved, but otherwise a pretty decent place to spend a night.

Good place for the family, in terms of location it’s the main road , good place to have food in that area , good place to stay , The Location is near to Wadi Bani Khalid , so you can visit both locations A'Sharqiyah Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid . What a wonderful place, we really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The hotel location is what we like so much especially that it’s near wadi bani Khalid, Whaiba sands and easy to go sur, Ashkara and Masira.. I recommend it

I have the impression that they only get their high ratings because they are the place with the best presence on booking platforms in the region. The 'apar**ents', as they call it, are not even equipped with the most basic stuff for preparing food or hot drinks. Yes, there was a small kitchen pantry next to the room but there were no dishes, no cutlery, no pots or pans etc. The price is way too high for what you get!

Before we booked our hotel stay, we had corresponded months in advance with the Manager/Owner over WhatsApp. He had helped us with precise directions and answered all our queries happily. The day we arrived, they were surprised to find us there. It looked like we might have been the only guests there. But that didn't affect the service one bit. We were greeted by the owner couple who were themselves visiting from Muscat. We were introduced to Mr. Gopal, the cook, who took excellent care of our pure veg Indian food needs. The owner also helped organise 2 drivers for us - one for our excursion to the nearby Wadi Bani Khalid... and the other for the sunrise view at Wahiba Sands. Both the drivers were polite, charged reasonable and felt safe. The hotel itself looked like a vast property, parts of it still getting developed. There's a whole lounge area done up in traditional Omani style, with lowlevel plush seating, coffee table with a thermos of hot coffee, some dates and a water bowl. The outdoors have ample visitor parking, children's play area, a garden with aloes, date trees and some more vegetation. There also seemed to be some kind of outdoor party area for family functions or such. It was nice to come out in the night to gaze at the moon, the stars and what appeared to be a part of the galaxy. The outdoors were also fitted with sensor-lighting which i appreciated. Our room was spacious for 2 people, the bathroom large with a tub. After we came back from Wadi Bani Khalid, we enjoyed a good soak time in the tub :) The food was delicious for all our meals. We were free to choose from the fruits Gopal ji generously offered. He also made awesome espresso and cold coffee for us. We weren't given an itemised bill though, it was a blanket charge of 7 OMR for 2 people. We wish we had a longer stay here. If you are planning to visit Al Asharqiyah Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid like us, this is your place to sleep the night off. For directions - go off the exit 159 on Muscat-Sur highway. We came via Mwasalat Bus and our driver already knew the hotel, so he dropped us precisely there. Another landmark to confirm the location is the Maha Petrol Pump located at exit 159. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the petrol pump complex.

We wanted to go to wadi Ben Khalid and found this nice and beautiful hotel on the way. Everything was clean, the apar**ent suite was bright and quit and the sign on the top, "feel free like at home" describes it perfect. We spent five days here and the manager Mohammed is so nice, to tell you everything about the country, the culture and the history of Oman, if you want. We would like to say thanks to everyone at the hotel, especially to Mohammed, who also drove us in the morning to the desert, to see the sunrise. Greets from Ronny and Katha and all the best.

Il proprietario Mohammed ci ha accolti in modo cordiale e simpatico. Parla italiano ed è molto gentile e disponibile. Cibo molto buono e locale estramamente pulito. Super consigliato se siete di passaggio in direzione Wadi Bani Khalid!!

Das Hotel ist super gelegen für eine Übernachtung in der Nähe des Wadi Bani Khalid und der Wüste. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sehr sauber und eher spartanisch eingerichtet. Aber das genügt völlig für eine Nacht. Einzigartig ist der nette Eigentümer des Hotels. Er hat sich sehr individuell um uns gekümmert und abends noch eine Wüstentour für den nächsten Morgen organisiert. Den Sonnenaufgang in der Wüste zu erleben war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Das Frühstück war gut, aber nichts Besonderes. Abends konnte man von einer Karte bestellen und alles wurde frisch für uns einzige Gäste zubereitet.
