This the perfect homebase for kitesurfing in Rodrigues, Anse Mourouk is just a few minutes away by foot. Very nice bungalows facing the lagoon, great food and incredible staff make this place a must-stop if you plan to go to Rodrigues. This is our second visit and it is even better than we remember. The manager was very helpul and made us feel at home quickly.

Excellent stay at Bakwa ! Jean the GM and team are here to make sure that your stay is memorable. Food, rooms and atmosphere are great ! The beach in front is exceptional. We also had a boat trip with Eliott, he is very friendly and adapt to your needs. Definitely, an amazing out of this world stay ! Will definitely come back !

Bakwa Lodge is a true heaven of peace and tranquility! RELAX and ENJOY the fresh air, the tranquility,, the amazing Lodge team with its' dedication, friendliness, smiles and happiness, the positive vibes and atmosphere all day, the most amazing food, always freshly prepared and locally sourced, the peace of mind and not to forget the stunning sandy beach. This unique place and it's entire team deserve a Gold Medal for the best hospitality!

As usual the place is great was our 3rd stay . Staff as usual superrrr great . April was a great choice we were there before in November & January previously … Food is good as usual . The new GM is super cool , pro & helpful . Need some small maintenance the room …nothing major . Would definitely go again for the 4th time next year . XXXX V

Well appointed bungalow, excellent location, nice view, lavish garden with Aloe Vera plants and lemon trees, tasteful breakfast & dinner, exceptionally nice personnel...Bakwa Lodge was indeed a beautiful experience. We were two family members sharing a Bungalow and we had a fantastic time. The hotel is ideally located on the south east of the Island with a direct access to the beach. Easy to watch the sunrising early morning. Easy to escape to Cats Island for a boat trip or a Kitesurfing ride in the lagoon. We rented a scooter to visit the Island (easier than a car to visit the island) and made a couple of treks with a guide. A special thanks to Reggie and his team who made our stay memorable. We'll be back!

Une écrin des verdure avec des prestations haut de gamme. La décoration est soignée et de très bon goût. Qualité de service et personnel à l’écoute enfin la table est particulièrement adaptée de niveau gastronomique. Accès direct à la plage. Proximité d’un club de plongée (Bouba diving) qui présente toutes les garanties notamment en terme de matériel et de sécurité

Bravo à toute l’équipe du bakwa! Le lieu est beau au bord de la plus belle plage de l’île, dans la nature les ecolodges vous attendent, très spacieuses les chambres ont vue mer, très propres, au milieu de la nature de Rodrigues. Delà de belles balades à pied vers anse bouteille, anse d’argent, graviers…. Louez un vehicle je vous conseille un pick up et partez à la découverte de l’île! Les repas sont excellents….

lodge magique!! personnel exceptionnelement gentil et prévenant (comme tous les habitants de rodrigues),vue superbe sur le lagon ,chambres belles et très confortables,cuisine succulente,à 300 m du spot et du club de kite. aucune fausse note ,tout parfait; merci pour ce séjour innoubliable

Petit établissement de seulement 8 chambres , réparties en 4 bâtiments éparpillaient dans un grand terrain vue lagon. Le personnel est extrêmement serviable, gentil et sérieux. Repas incroyablement bon et cuisiné du jour. La chambre est très spacieuse avec une douche extérieur et une grande terrasse. Accès plage direct, possibilité de louer un scooter pour visiter l'ile. Superbe établissement : simple mais efficace ! Bravo et merci pour tout.
