La recepción era muy buena. La habitación estaba bien. Decidimos comer en el restaurante. La ama no estaba realmente interesada. Esperamos y esperamos que sólo el menú llegara. Nos encargamos de la comida que vino relativamente rápido, la sopa que se enumeró no parecía ninguna sopa que hayamos experimentado. La crema de hielo que no podía comer fue desagradable. La ama de la que se había ido no podíamos hablar de esto en absoluto. Habiendo viajado casi 600 kilómetros ese día en el calor, no podíamos esperar porque estabamos tan cansados. En la mañana en que fuimos a liquidar la cuenta, encontramos que ya se había tomado y el Recepcionista no quería entender y nos ofreció dos cervezas, una pequeña compensación.

Hotel First is situated near the town of Calenzano, Tuscany. It is a 25 minute train ride from Florence. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station, get the Patagione stop not the Calenzano stop or you will be a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Trains are hourly until around 6pm, but not all trains stop there. The hotel bedrooms were very spacious and clean, beds weren't particularly comfortable, but ok. The biggest complaint I had was that they have hung the curtains about 30cm back from the actual window, and whilst looking straight on this is fine, when in bed there is a HUGE gap between the window and the wall which results in you being woken at 5am when the sunlight hits the room. The other issue is that the ground floor rooms do smell quite strongly of cigarette smoke, even though the hotel rooms are all non-smoking, not sure if this is a legacy issue, or whether some people were having crafty cigarettes but it was really noticeable. Hotel breakfast had a lot of choice and we dined twice in the restaurant in the evening which we found to be very good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and understanding of my poor Italian. They nearly all spoke excellent English, which made things easier for us.

Quite, clean and cozy hotel. All staffs are nice and kind. Bathroom condition and room condition is stunning. Only one cons is not good to come here with public transport. If you can rent a car or using taxi, here is nice hotel in florence. I'm sure you love here.

Kudos to the friendly staff that resolved our booking issue! Due to our flight cancellation, we “did not show” to our hotel reservation and arrived a day after. Thanks to the receptionist, she was so accommodating and understanding and she was able to resolve the accommodation issue. She also provided accurate instructions on train and bus schedules/locations.

Ha sido una experiencia totalmente positiva. El hotel es muy acogedor, con instalaciones adecuadas y confortables. El personal, muy agradable y atento, satisfaciendo todas las necesidades de los huéspedes. La habitación de categoría superior, excepcional. Posee una bonita piscina que no se nos ha permitido utilizar. El desayuno buffet está muy controlado, por lo que te toman el pedido en la mesa y luego te traen los alimentos. Hemos percibido, falta de personal, ya que las esperas en atención eran demasiado extensas. Las medidas de prevención para el coronavirus son acordes con las exigidas. El resultado final es muy satisfactorio y recomendamos totalmente visitar este hotel.

El cuarto tiene un sentido de diseño, aunque no muy grande, pero muy cálido y cómodo. El salón es este tipo de habitación muy suave porque está en la mitad de la planta, necesita la próxima escalera muy suave, hay varios grados en el cuarto, la caja grande es muy desagradable! El desayuno es todavía muy bueno, se puede sentar fuera para sentirlo.

Hay un tranvía a la estación de tren, 20 minutos, la distancia es aceptable; no hay ventana en el baño de la habitación, por lo que la habitación huele mal, y la habitación es un poco ruidosa frente a la calle; el servicio de recepción es bien, y usted puede vivir allí.

I regret to say that our recent stay at Camplus Guest Firenze in Florence was a complete disappointment, and I feel compelled to share our experience to warn others not to stay here. To start with the positives, the room size was adequate and the bed was comfortable. The modern decor was also appealing, and the cleaning standards were satisfactory. However, the negatives far outweighed any positives. Firstly, despite being upgraded, our room on the messanie 1A floor suffered from appalling noise pollution from the common area as there was no wall separating our room from the common area. As the building primarily caters to students, the noise levels were unacceptable, disrupting our sleep and causing discomfort throughout our stay. The students should feel free to make noise in their common area, I just don’t know our superior double room (we even bought an upgraded room) was placed there for paying hotel guests when this is clearly an issue. The most alarming issue was the shared balcony, which posed a serious security risk. On the second night, we were awakened by loud music and discovered a group of people smoking and partying directly outside our room on our own portion of the balcony. This invasion of privacy and lack of security left us feeling unsafe and vulnerable. Despite raising the issue, and the situation was not properly addressed and upon checkout the staff member tried to make it out that the group were on another area of the balcony, which I was upset about as I looked out the window and I saw with my own eyes the group directly outside our room on our balcony. They also asked why we didn’t tell them to go away ourselves but as not speaking good Italian at all, we felt unsafe approaching a group whose language we don’t speak. Furthermore, the breakfast experience was uncomfortable, as we felt out of place among the other students. Overall, our stay was marred by feelings of insecurity, discomfort, and sleep disturbance. Despite paying a significant amount for our stay, the service and amenities did not meet our expectations. Moreover, management's lack of response to our official complaint email is concerning. Despite offering a mere 50% discount on our next stay within the year, which we declined as we do not plan to return to Florence within that timeframe, they have refused to offer any compensation for our current stay. In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at camplus guest firenze in Florence. Our experience was unacceptable, and the lack of proper response from management only adds to our disappointment. Please reconsider before booking your stay here.

Villa Castiglione está situada en una de las colinas que rodean Florencia, es un lugar tranquilo y silencioso rodeado de villas y viñedos. El monasterio reformado ahora presenta interiores decorados artísticamente. Las habitaciones son lo suficientemente espaciosas para una estancia encantadora, con un moderno cuarto de baño privado. Es como se ve en las fotos, limpio y el personal habla inglés; aunque parecen un poco lentos y aburridos, fueron amables y muy serviciales, además de ofrecer consejos sobre viajes. El aparcamiento es gratuito en las instalaciones, pero prepárate para llegar al lugar por una carretera estrecha y sinuosa. El desayuno tiene bastante variedad, pero no esperes opciones saludables, generalmente se trata de bollería, yogur, cereales y huevos. Excelente café, ya que esto es Italia, por supuesto. La cena se sirve oficialmente a partir de las 7:30, pero nadie empezó a servirla hasta las 8:00 p.m. y el menú es bastante limitado, sin opciones simples para los viajeros cansados, como sopa o ensalada, y era caro, teniendo en cuenta la relación calidad-precio. Considerándolo todo, fue un gran hallazgo y podemos recomendar la Villa.
