Los apartamentos tienen todo lo que necesitan, incluyendo un lavavajillas y hay una máquina de lavar en el baño y secador en un cubo exterior en el aterrizaje. We spent ten days in Prague in May, 2023, staying at the Dancing House, and we couldn't have been happier. The conventional wisdom for a hotel in Prague is to find one on Old Town to be close to the many tourist sites, but the location of the Dancing House offered several benefits: there is a tram stop just outside of the hotel, and around both corners to the left and the right about six blocks away is a Metro station. We never once felt ”away from the action” during our stay in the city. We had a beautiful room, 402, which was spacious and comfortable with three large windows. Every morning we would get up and pull back the curtains to a view of the river and the Jirásek Bridge. Then we took the elevator up three flights to the breakfast room on the seventh floor, being sure to take one of the tables by a window. There was nothing more that we could have wanted as the selection of items was comprehensive, but I especially like the machine which dispensed cups of black coffee, café au lait, cappuccino, and espresso. And the bottles of Prosecco! There is also a nice coffee/gift shop on the ground floor where we stopped two afternoons for ice cream. The only feature of the hotel we didn’t especially like was the rooftop bar. We were given two passes to enter the bar but we didn’t buy a drink. The views are wonderful, but it was crowded with nowhere to sit, so we just walked around once and left. We found two bonuses staying at the Dancing House hotel: one was a nice wine bar, Wine Not, one hundred meters away at Masarykovo nábřeží 8- We stopped here several afternoons after sight-seeing to sample a glass (or two) of wine and to chat with the servers. And the second was a floating restaurant just across the street from the hotel – Restaurant Matylda. Luckily, we had dinner here on our second night and enjoyed it so much that we returned for one more dinner before leaving for home. A tip – the octopus carpaccio is great. And there are two open areas on the boat. On two afternoons we sat at a table on the bow in the sunshine and sipped chilled Czech Rose. If we ever return to Prague we will not hesitate to stay once again at the Dancing House.

Fantastic hotel, in a great location with a very helpful and attentive staff and excellent offering. Our room was very modern, spacious, clean and had all the amenities you would need for your stay (coffee machine, kettle, fridge, dishwasher there is an oven as well but we didn't use it). Breakfast - beautifully laid out buffet bar offering warm and cold selection with an excellent choice for any dietary requirements; fresh ingredients, lovely local breads, fruit, pastry, freshly made omelettes - very tasty. Staff - Reception - young, welcoming, attentive, helpful - just great :-) Bar - Mr. Jan - absolute star who makes the best cocktail - if you like espresso martini - go for The Julius cocktail - it's just perfect after all day walking around Prague. Jan was super friendly, professional, no matter how big or small our bar order was. He kept the table always nice, tidy and his attentive service was very appreciated. Breakfast staff - team of buzzy Bees - making your stay wonderful, caring, taking care of the breakfast bar looking tidy and in order Cleaning ladies - kept our room nice, tidy and fresh. All we can say is - we had a fantastic stay and when back in Prague, we will be looking to stay at the Julius again. The hotel is very well placed, not too far from the local attractions and it always welcomes you back after a long day of exploring. Thank you again :-)!

En sí mismo un buen hotel. Desafortunadamente, tuve mala suerte con mi habitación: suciedad en la nevera, en el cristal, una mancha en la alfombra que no se podía quitar, 1 lámpara rota, 1 bombilla rota, restos de pasta en la tetera, la cortina se salió el titular en los extremos... El personal se esforzó mucho: me ofrecieron una nueva habitación el 2º día (no había capacidad el 1º). Como ya había desempacado, lo salteé a cambio de un desayuno gratis y se abordaron algunas de las deficiencias. El hotel en sí dio una buena impresión de limpieza y el baño estaba muy limpio. Así que realmente estoy asumiendo mala suerte personal. Personalmente, el colchón era demasiado duro para mí, pero eso es cuestión de gustos. Mi habitación estaba muy bien amueblada, muy tranquila y todavía a solo 15 minutos a pie de la ciudad vieja y nueva. todo el personal era muy agradable y servicial. Si hubiera colchones más suaves, definitivamente le daría una segunda oportunidad al hotel.

El personal del hotel fue amable y me ayudó con cualquier pregunta que tuviera. El hotel está limpio y ordenado, pero no es de un nivel muy alto, para mí fue suficiente. La ubicación del hotel es excelente, al lado de una estación de metro y de una estación de varias líneas de tranvía pero la verdad es que la plaza principal y el centro de la ciudad están a 15 minutos andando así que no siempre usé transporte público, por otro lado Por otro lado, el hotel no estaba en un lugar muy céntrico y ruidoso. El hotel tenía la opción de un desayuno sencillo por un coste extra, pero yo prefería comer en los cafés locales. Lamentablemente el aire acondicionado no funcionó y era un día caluroso. No hablé de eso con el personal del hotel porque no estuve en el hotel la mayor parte del día y no era el pico de calor. Es importante tener en cuenta que para llegar al ascensor y desde el ascensor hasta la habitación hay escaleras que pueden resultar complicadas para las personas mayores.

A friend I spent 4 nights at this hotel whilst visiting another friend and seeing the sights in Prague. In terms of location, the hotel is a little out of the main centre (15 min walk approx). However it still feels very central due to how large Prague is and sprawls out. The hotel is not dated but doesn’t seem particularly modern either. It has a very simplistic feel. Staff are polite in the reception upon arrival. It has a very small lobby area with seating, vending machines and toilets hidden away. This area could get crowded easily. The rooms themselves are basic. They are clean and tidy, have decent beds, a small desk and a wardrobe. Numerous charging sockets are available which is nice and there is a TV. Unfortunately, there is no safe or mini fridge which did feel like a small hindrance. The bathroom is not spacious but is once again clean and tidy. Towels are replenished daily and small toiletries are provided. The hotel offers breakfast which was included within our booking. The breakfast is very basic. Cereals, fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese and some boiled eggs is all it has to offer. However, the coffee and drinks machines were in good working order and the staff worked hard. Overall, this hotel offers a simple, easy and affordable stay in Prague. You get what you pay for but I was satisfied with the overall value. The additions of a safe, mini fridge and a more comprehensive breakfast would pay dividends though.

My spouse, my friends, and I stayed 2 nights for Canada Day weekend at Mama Shelter prague. It's in a great location, short transit to old Town Prague with multiple ways of getting there. Bolt, scooters, tram, or even walking works as well. Staff was friendly, except for when we got back to our hotel room on Saturday night. The door was left open by house keeping and luckily nothing was stolen. A woman staff member at the front didn't believe what I told her, so we showed her and said something would be done about it. Upon checking out, there were no notes, and nothing was done. So definitely a lack of professionalism by the night staff. Breakfast was excellent with alot of choices. It's a buffet and is open from 7am to 1030am most days. Food was fresh and 0 issues. The room was clean and spacious. King size bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was okay, but could've been better. 2 TVs and 2 bathrooms. So it was a comfortable stay for us. Overall, definitely worth the money you pay to have everything included. I still believe the hotel parking should be included into the price like in North America.

I just can´t believe what happened in this hotel…. First time ever… I have traveled in 50 countries during the past 20 years. I arrived 22nd May at 13:20 to hotel. The lobby was empty and the whole hotel seemed to be running on low capasity. I went to reception to make check in. No sayign welcome or anything, the receptionist announced me unpolitely that the check in starts at 14:00. I asked that is he serious - the hotel seemed to be empty and in all hotels before, I have had the room if it has been free. Absolutely no cooperation here. I got arrogant answer that the check in starts at 14:00. So - then I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes. There was two receptionists, who were more interested of chatting to eachothers than serving the customer. At 14:00:05 I approached them and asked if I could get the key now. I got it. Have to say that never ever I have whitnessed such an uncooperativeness and arrogance. The room was ready and empty - why the heck I was made to sit in the hot lobby. This was really horrible experience of customer service. Two other minuses were, that the air conditioning did not work in the whole hotel. Also, the hotel WiFI was useless, as the speed was 0,2Mb/sec. Never again to this hotel - I sincverily hope management will react to this feedback

We received welcoming and excellent service from reception staff Mikita… the room is spacious, clean and comfortable on the 21st floor. Just unfortunately there are a few big groups of students staying and this caused a lot of inconvenience to the lobby area especially the lifts, noisemakers and dining area. Otherwise this is a good value and great hotel to stay as it’s well connected by tram to the city center in 20mins

Lo que más nos ha gustado es el trato del personal del hotel. Son todos muy amables y serviciales. Quiero destacar y reconocer la ayuda y amabilidad del Sr. Lázaro, el cual siempre nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos (habla varios idiomas). El hotel está situado junto a una entrada de metro, que en unos 15 minutos te acerca a los primeros sitios de interés. El hotel es moderno y sus instalaciones de ocio (piscina, boliche/bolos) están muy bien. Las habitaciones muy cómodas. Nosotros viajamos con un bebé y el servicio de cuna en la habitación es bueno. El desayuno es muy completo aunque tardan mucho en reponer cuando algo se acaba. Seguro que volveríamos a este hotel! Gracias a todo el personal!
