Entorno excelente en un hotel muy bueno. Buenas habitacion y muy buena playa El gran problema es la comida, donde el restaurante Bagatelle no cumple las expectativas de un 5 estrellas. Comida mediocre y repetitiva. Lo mismo sucede con el Bar, donde la atenciòn es terrible y muy mala En cambio el Jack's es distinto, con buena comida y buena atenciòn.

My husband and I have spent a week at BBH. Our friends recommended this place and it definitely did not disappoint. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful - very nice, relaxed and authentic, without feeling too touristy. The room (we had one of the ocean suites) is excellent - big size, gorgeous decor and sea views. I loved reading books on the sun lounger outside of the room. The grounds are really well kept - pools are gorgeous and everyone is really friendly. We have eaten at Bagatelle and Blue Tropic - both were fine and food was nice but we ended up eating out a lot as liked the local options and trying something different during the stay. Breakfast was really nice - loved the smoothies, the eggs were fab - you really have a good choice of whatever you wanted (unsure why some reviews had issue with breakfast?!) Shout out to Sand Bar - which we really enjoyed! Nice stroll on the beach, it’s very chilled, lovely a**osphere and not too busy. We preferred this to Jack’s to be completely honest - their spot is excellent but customer service is not as a good as BBH. Finally, want to say a huge thank you to Rima and her team. They have been absolutely outstanding - nothing has ever been an issue, they helped us with booking taxis and restaurants and anything we needed really. Always with a smile on their face. Could not have received a more excellent service - thank you so much! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend BBH to anyone considering it. You will not be disappointed!

This is an excellent and very special venue. Our bungalow was spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was consistently outstanding. The beautiful, natural beach is a joy to walk along. You can always easily get towels ands sun loungers both on the beach and by the pool. The service was great. Thank you for a memorable experience:-)

A beautiful and relaxing place with a lovely unspoilt beach. The a**osphere is so peaceful and the staff are wonderful. There are no jet skis or tour reps to spoil the tranquil environment. The food is excellent as are the rooms and we really could not find any fault with this hotel.

An excellent boutique resort, and a fabulous location. Nicely laid out, and the rooms are all in buildings no more than three stories high. The beach can sometimes be a little rough because of its exposure to open ocean but the water is clear and beautiful and is great for swimming, the food is excellent. We rarely left the resort to eat someplace else because the menu was diverse and delicious.

Excellent resort. Staff goes above and beyond. Head of landscaping, Prime, went out his way to get us coconuts and mangoes. Reception staff decorated our room for our birthday and anniversary celebrations. Manager of Guest Services, Ms. Ali demonstrated exceptional service. Jamaya, server at the restaurant, was a joy to meet. We enjoyed his suggestion of fresh mint tea. The owner Mr. B, was very friendly and welcoming. Our family of four (two teens) had a wonderful experience.

We stayed here for 10 nights at the end of March in a first floor room ( room 34) . We had a great time. This hotel was perfect for what we wanted- peace and rest. The room was large, well kitted out and had a big balcony. The view was lovely across the gardens to the sea. The aircon was effective and the bathroom had a great shower and 2 sinks. The grounds of the hotel a very well kept, as is the beach area. There were loads of loungers round the pools and along the beach front and we managed to find plenty of shade. You could walk along the beach to the hotel’s small beach bar (Sand bar) and the main restaurant for dinner and breakfast is directly on the water with a sea breeze. The staff were very friendly and hard working. We chose the half board option and enjoyed a good breakfast and then a 3 course evening meal at either the bagatelle main restaurant, the smaller blue tropic restaurant or over at Jack’s beach bar at princess Margaret bay ( a taxi ride away) which is also owned by BBH. The food was generally good with a lot of fish and seafood which we enjoyed. As Friendship bay is on the south east side of the island the beach did get some bigger waves a few of the days we were there but we still swam most days. This stretch of beach is very peaceful and the view is gorgeous across to Mustique. The hotel offers a daily shuttle ( taking 5/10mins) across to the Princess Margaret beach where guests can get a lounger etc at Jacks’s bar. This is a very calm waters beach but it get’s busier. You can walk from there into the town along a boardwalk. If you want a relaxing and quiet stay in a very low key and friendly Caribbean island choose Bequia and this hotel.

Quite an amazing place with an unbelievable attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful and well positioned and the complex is easy to get round. Arriving by their private jet and being collected by the owners son gives you a feeling of importance. One gripe, and it's an important one, is the lack of any cohesion in the dining area. They need someone in charge to ensure that there is sufficient food, crockery and cutlery and that tables are cleared and reset promptly. This shouldn't be happening at such an expensive hotel; it has been mentioned by others over at least the past twelve months and, whilst acknowledged, has not improved. Going to dine should be a relaxed experience rather than it being approached with a feeling of uncertainty in relation to what you may encounter.

Absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish. Easy travelling through Barbados, where we were seamlessly guided through to transit and our waiting BBH plane. The room was beautiful and kept immaculately by the lovely housemaids. This is a piece of retro Caribbean, not glitzy and flashy but classy and laid back. The beach, the pools and the fabulous gardens are all kept in fantastic shape and there is so much space, never crowded. There are numerous restaurant options and all of the hotel venues are great in different ways. We loved having lunches and dinners by the sea at Bagatelle, the Italian restaurant is fabulous and several times had a really great lady playing guitar and singing. Jack’s is lively and fun with great food and the Sandbar is a brilliant addition to stroll to during the day. Across all those areas and the whole hotel the staff are standout fantastic - efficient, charming and great fun. We’re already booked to go back and after 20+ trips to these islands would not dream of going anywhere but BBH in the future!
