We chose this hotel mainly for the cycling facilities for my boyfriend. The location is fantastic being right on the front and close to all restaurants, shops and the beach. Breakfast has a good choice of continental but there could be a little more choice for the cooked option. The only downside re breakfast is it doesn’t start until 8am and whereas this was fine for me and probably others my boyfriend was out cycling by 7/7.30 and so he missed breakfast each day and made do with a breakfast bar. Perhaps the hotel would consider an early breakfast option for cyclists? I had booked the cyclist package via *********** which was an interior facing room. Whilst this would be okay for cyclists who are maybe out all day and just want somewhere to crash at the end of the day this wasn’t suitable for a couple. It was a tiny room with no view at all. We asked to upgrade on our second day and the staff were extremely accommodating and we managed to change to a sea view room with balcony which was perfect for the rest of our stay. The cycling package included a ‘welcome basket with fruits and cereal bars, water, detox water and a free glass of cava’ but we didn’t get this. To be honest I didn’t mention this to the staff as we had already mentioned about the small room so I didn’t want to be a nuisance but I think if this isn’t included in the cycling package then ***********/Eolo shouldn’t list these as an extra. Overall our stay was great. All the staff are lovely and we would definitely stay again.

The hotel is a budget very basic hotel. As a hotel guest you do have to wait around for someone to come from the restaurant to the reception, there were also no beach towels for 3 days of our visit so we had to buy some. The lift needs an update its very smelly in there. Staff are very friendly and the cleaners went above and beyond. We ate pizza there once it was good and the nachos were amazing . Guests get 10 percent discount but a 10 percent service charge os added to your receipt we did not experience this anywhere else in the area but always tipped above that anyway. Breakfast does not get replenished very well at all often no juice or water, ran out of bread rolls etc. Although I have no major complaints I would not stay again.

I stayed here recently with my husband. It was our second time stay, previously was 14 years ago. It's changed a lot. Air conditioning in the room for starters. That worked well and was needed. Breakfast was immense. So much choice for hot and cold. Even had Cava! The bathroom was a squeeze but very clean and had shower gel and shampoo. Our balcony was on the end and noisy but that's what ear plugs are for. You can't expect to stay near the pine walk and have monastic silence. We'll definitely stay again asap.

Finally got around to writing up my thoughts on our recent stay at Hotel Eolo. Another wonderful holiday in Puerto Pollensa, due in no small part to the wonderful staff at Eolo. We have stayed here many times and it just gets better. Accommodation and location is excellent if what you require is a clean comfortable room with a location perfect for the multitude of available restaurants. Rooms are spotlessly clean -as is the rest of the hotel. The ladies responsible for this do an amazing job, their hard work is self-evident. They are very friendly and helpful – and while I might be a little hesitant to distract them from their work, they are always happy to help with any requests for loo rolls, bin bags etc. The included in price breakfast selection is magnificent for accommodation at the budget end of the spectrum. Again, the kitchen/waiting staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Special thanks to the marvellous Saida. The reception staff are exemplary. They again are friendly, helpful and efficient - (spotting a pattern here?). No request for assistance or advice is met with anything other than an obvious ethos of customer satisfaction. Plus- they are nice people! Special mention here for the marvellous Asun and Matias. We have already booked our next stay and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you ALL at Eolo!

I recently came back from staying here for eight nights. First of all the good points: You don't have to keep your room card in one of those slots to access the electricity, so, if necessary, you can leave your mobile charging while you go off and have breakfast. It's only three minutes away from the supermarket (Eroski). The bed was comfortable, which was great for me, having fibromyalgia. The staff are lovely - very willing, friendly and helpful. Now the bad points: Very noisy on the balcony, or with the balcony open. It's right next to the roundabout for one thing, and vans unloading their goods to the opposite buildings make a heck of a noise in the morning. There is no privacy on the balcony because you face the apartments opposite, where people can sit out on THEIR balconies, although there is a lovely view from one end of it. My shower leaked out onto the bathroom floor, which left a puddle every time. There is nowhere to put anything. No dressing table, no towel rails - just a couple of points jutting out of the wall where you can drape a towel over. There is a 'wardrobe', which is like a cupboard (see photo) where you can put your things, but not much room if there are two of you. The 'wardrobe' isn't deep enough for dresses. I had to hang mine outside the door. I'm afraid this hotel needs to look at it's maintenance. The ceiling of my balcony wasn't painted properly as in paint had just been applied over and over again, covering up the bumps and lumps, instead of sanding it all down first. Consequently, mine kept flaking off in large bits, which meant I couldn't use my balcony properly. They did give me a small refund, but it needs to be seen to before other people use that room (405). I'm sure this hotel would suit you if you just want it as a base, and are out all day, and I do know a couple of people who are happy to stay there. However, it's far too basic for me, and I won't be staying there again.

This is a small, pretty basic hotel, in a great location with fantastic staff. Don’t be put off by the small functioning reception area, it does all it needs to do. From the minute you arrive you are made to feel like you are joining a family…a nice family. The rooms are quite small..but have everything you need in them. Serviced daily and ours was spotless every day. If you’re looking for large opulent bedrooms and bathrooms then this is not where you want..BUT if you’re looking for a great value for money hotel in a good location just at the beginning of the pinewalk, with the marina on your doorstep and views over the bay of Pollensa then check this one out. As it’s at the roundabout there is traffic noise for part of the day, and the bar under the Chinese roundabout can get a bit noisy, but the glazing is good and the air conditioning good so if it troubles you then you can partly shut it out. The twin beds make a super king and mattresses and pillows are really comfortable. There is a fridge and tea making facilities and a small but decent walk in shower with toiletries and decent towels. It’s an old building in the port but importantly to me it has a lift (small) to all floors, and a roof terrace with great views if you’re not fortunate to have a balcony. There is a pizza restaurant below for easy eating but there are so many great restaurants in the town you’ll be spoilt for choice. We will most definitely return. Rooms high up have best views.
