We have been going to hotel Molindrio for 10 years with my parents and sister and are club members. Every year has been a great experience but that all changed this year. From the beginning the reception has told us every year that we are free to use the beach at hotel Parentium and we are also able to use the white chairs to lie down. We have been doing this ever since. This year we were approached by life guards at the beach asking us why we were using the white chairs if we are not guests of hotel Parentium, because this was not allowed. We explained that we have been doing this for years and had been told by the reception that this was not a problem because we were guests at the sister hotel Molindrio. When we made the reception aware of this altercation with the life guards they first claimed that these chairs were never offerd to us by the reception and that we were lucky that we had not been caught earlier for using these chairs ( which made us feel absolutely horrible, we just did what the reception has told us for years that we could do ), after we explained that we are not lying and have been guest for 10 years and have always been using these chairs they switched up the story and told us that there is a new management and there are new rules so we cannot use these chairs at the beach anymore ( so now we are not liars but the new director has given these orders, reception could have just told us this from the start instead of making us look like liars ). So we had to lie down on the concrete. My dad has a bad back and instead if a relaxing vacation his back got even worse from lying on the hard concrete with just a towel. Absolutely disgraceful! Furthermore the food this year was of very poor quality. The fruit they served was either rotten or without taste, which left us really feeling disappointed especially because we have been coming here for years and have always been so satisfied with the food. Needless to say we will not be coming back anymore after being treated this way. We are very disappointed.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. An extremely organized and high-quality hotel with friendly, cordial and smiling staff who do their job professionally. The buffet food at breakfast and dinner is varied, fresh, tasty and well prepared and above average for a 3-star hotel. Various activities are organized every day. The environment of the hotel is pleasant, calm and extremely relaxing. A beautiful promenade by the sea leads to the town of Novigrad We definitely plan to return to this place.

The location is very good. The seaview is very beautiful. Mr. Andreaw is very helpful and nice, he introduced a very good restaurant for our dinner and the food iwas great. He drove the golf car to take us to the carpark and help us bring our luggage. All the staff in this hotel were helpful and friendly. The staff in the restaurant, were very polite and professional and the chef cook excellent breadkfast to us. Only one thing is if follow the google will direct you to the wrong way cannot find the hotel. Better contact the hotel lead you to find them before you arrive. As the car is not park in the hotel . Rovinj is a very beautiful place! I will stay in this hotel again.

With only six room, it’s quite a cozy boutique hotel nestled in a beautiful area of Istria’s very lush and green countryside. The town is super small and quiet except for the music school where you can hear musicians practicing their skills. We were even serenaded by several singers when having dinner at one of the local restaurants. An impromptu performance that was charming. Something to remember. Of all the great hotels I stayed at during this nearly four-week biking trip, the staff here was definitely the friendliest though their English was not the most proficient. They tried so hard to please and be of service. They wanted so much to learn about us as well. Great conversations to be had. Breakfast can be eaten outdoor overlooking the valley or indoor. The weather was on my side so I went outside to enjoy the sun coming up over the valley and the fresh air. As the name indicates, the place was built in 1798 but was renovated in 2018. Beautiful rooms, modern and a bit on the eclectic side. Bright inviting colors, lots of space. The only issue I had was with the internet. It took ages and several tries to finally connect. They are proud to serve local food. Here, I got to taste the famous Skuta Sheep Milk Cheese. Everything fresh and delicious although not a lot of choices compared to most other hotels. Considering that there are only six rooms, however, it’s adequate. Nothing is far from this hotel as the walled town is minuscule. Few parking spots, most park at the church and walk to town. I came by bike so didn’t have to worry about that. It will take less than one hour to see it all. Artistic feel, medieval vibe. The day I was there, there was a small flea market in the courtyard in front of the hotel. Not sure how often that happens. Local artists were there. All in all, I would definitely return to this hotel should I be in this area again.
