Cruiser Island by Swiss-Belhotel

Secluded island with nice view. Peaceful and relaxed.

Отличный отель для семейного отдыха, тихо , спокойно. На острове ничего нет, совсем ничего, только этот отель с рестораном и баром у бассейна. В отеле три бассейна. Готовят вкусную. Так же есть лодки можно покататься вокруг острова. Море не понравилось, после отлива купаться нельзя. Рекомендую кто устал от суеты и людей, самое то на 2-3 дня.

Our stay at Cruiser Island was lovely. It is a very restful and quiet place. I highly recommend. The staff were kind and helpful. Especially the manager named Krai, he went out of his way to ensure an excellent stay. I watched other guests treat him poorly for no reason other than they were rude people, and he responded graciously every time. I was consistently impressed with his professionalism and hard work ethic. The food was okay, not great, and between 250-350 baht per meal. They were great at accommodating the food to our preferences. The boat ride is 600 baht round trip per person so you are mostly stuck on the island unless you don’t mind the extra cost of the ride. We didn’t mind because we wanted to stay and relax for several days. Very family friendly! We have a 2 year old and a 9 month old, and it was very easy to have them here. The cabanas on the beach kept the baby out of the sand, and there were 3 separate kid pools along with books and toys. Kayaks were also available to use. We had a room that looked out to the ocean and had a very large walk through closet that we moved a bed into so each child had their own room and we had our own room. So so restful. The beds were very comfortable and the whole experience was great. I don’t have enough positive things to say about this place! If you’re looking for adventure, you could stay for 1-2 nights before checking out a different island, however if you’re looking to relax and reset for a whole week, this is the place to be!

Beach bungalows on a deserted island, and yes, it IS a deserted island. Our stay at this resort on Ko Lon was probably the most memorable part of our trip to Thailand. The bungalows were very spacious and elegant, with fairly nice finishing throughout. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful- it felt like we were staying with friends! The beach and island is FILLED with wildlife and was unlike anything I've ever experienced before. Crabs will scurry across the sand as you walk the beach. The room could be a bit dark at night, especially the bathroom, but the accommodations were still great. The food was very good and priced well too. There's a good chance I'll be coming back to this spot.

Very picturesque setting but take plenty of bug repellent and after bite. Suggest you avoid the beach. We were savaged- I have over 57. There is no first aid or shop to buy any treatment or repellent. Service in restaurant particularly poor. Very limited menu and slow service. We were 4 and meals came out one after another taking up to 45 mins. First to be served always finished by time last person received meal. Restaurant often ran out of basics and drinks eg, soft and beer. That said, lovely spacious room and pool areas

This place is a hidden gem! They also offer day passes with transport from chalong bay. Definitely worth it to spend the day here if you are in the area and want to get away from the crowd. The views are stunning and the beach is clean. I can absolutely recommend Cruiser Island Resort!
