Nos encanta quedarnos aquí , todo es genial pero nos quedamos anoche , tienen una microondas en su habitación pero no. Hoteles dejó de hacer hielo cuando estabamos en tiempos de congelar , podemos traer de vuelta hielo , algunas personas como bebidas con hielo cuando se quedan en un hotel , se pierde el hielo 😁

A la vez que me gustaba la estancia en este hotel, me siento más seguro y tengo un hijo conmigo.
El hotel está situado en una buena ubicación. El cuarto está bien mantenido, limpio y cómodo. Teníamos buenas 4 noches de sueño! Ver desde nuestra habitación es fantástico. El desayuno también era bueno.

Great location, friendly staff. Met our expectations. Decor is a little dated and old and the hotel restaurant and bar were closed for renovation which is a pity, but the hotel was convenient to walk to food outlets, trains and attractions.

The good: Nice design. Relatively new. Location is great, and the view from the room was very nice, overlooking the water. The bad: Whilst we appreciated the ”welcome” we received in the room, whereby ALL the blinds were raised automatically when entering the room, this feature could not be turned off, and so when I returned to the room at night after my family had gone to sleep, all the blinds raised, disturbing everyone. I requested this feature be removed, but the only option was to disable the blinds completely. On the subject of blinds, the material used did not provide privacy from the street, so blockout blinds needed to be lowered as well. The controls to the blinds were sketchy... sometimes raising or sometimes lowering regardless of which button was pressed. It was an effort to get them to close! The key to the room did not work on the second day, and I had to stand in line for 20 mins, after which I was issued with a new key, which did not operate the lift, and so I had to return again to get this fixed. We ordered dinner in the room as the restaurant was closed. The quinoa was basically a very small sprinkle of quinoa... hardly a meal, or even a snack. The seafood pasta was served with 4 tiny prawns and 4 small scallops only. No crab or fish, as advertised. It was also extremely small, and drowned in butter. The lamb shank was okay, but nothing to write home about. The room was dusty in places. The paint was bubbling on the ceiling in places. The breakfast buffet was reasonable, however there was a swarm of small flies near the fruit. The coffee was awful, though my daughter raved about the chai latte. For a hotel of this (supposed) standard, and price, the breakfast was sub-par. There was also a guest pacing around whilst using his phone, hardly appropriate, and went unnoticed by the staff. All in all, I couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone for the price, around $800 per night. They also wanted an additional $125 per night for a rollaway, however we took our own blow up mattress and sleeping bag for our daughter instead.

I have stayed at the hotel over the past 15 years and it has gradually become a little run down here and there but the worst change is the service, nobody has a smile or greets you as a guest, your just another inconvenience for them. I stayed in a ”Deluxe” King room last week and the Bathroom was dirty and the Shower over Bath is a disgrace (see photo). I don't think I'll be staying again until some marked improvements have been made.

UUsuario invitadoCalling all curlies! Our room came with a Dyson hairdryer and diffuser. Perfect. Room decor is very classy as are all the common areas. Truth be told I found it a little dark to see well, but that’s the price of ambiance. We had a little problem with the bed on the first night and the staff quickly fixed it the next day. Great service. Excellent Italian restaurant in the hotel - you’ll have to book, even mid-week.

UUsuario invitadoI don’t think this hotel is in the best part of town but it is fairly central and easy to walk to some of the sights in the CBD and about 10 minutes walk from the station. However I wouldn’t walk around here at night on my own. I checked in quite late in the evening after a long flight from the UK. I had booked a small queen room and it was small. There was only a bedside table on one side of the bed, no wardrobe but two hooks with hangers on. There was a kettle, safe and fridge. The hotel website also mentioned a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests. What they did not tell me before I arrived was that there was building works going on in the hotel which started at 8 am. Not great when I was struggling with the UK / Australia time difference. It was quite noisy. The bed was really comfortable as there was a padded mattress topper. There was also air-con in the room which could be used to heat or cool the room. Although there was a mirror over the sink in the bathroom there was no mirror in the room with decent lighting to sort make up etc. out. There was a full length mirror near the door but not particularly well lit. The shower room was clean, with two large newish white towels provided. The water from the shower was hot, and decent pressure. It did leak a little under the door but not too much to become a problem. One of the issues with the room was noise control - I could clearly hear my neighbours raising and lowering the blind so there was definitely noise escape around the large windows. I was also woken during the night by one of the neighbours snoring loudly. And woken a few times each night by people returning to their rooms late. There is no restaurant for breakfast at the hotel but there are plenty of cafes locally. I chose this hotel because it was priced competitively but would not have chosen it otherwise

UUsuario invitadoLots of the reviews here, I believe, are reviewing Mercure on Hay (the newer, more upmarket hotel and possibly better of the two although I haven’t seen it), whereas lots of reviews in Mercure Perth on Hay are referring to Mercure on Irwin. I’ve compared the photos and the hotel details and official photos are definitely that way round. SO… this one, Mercure Perth (which is on Irwin St) is the bad one. It’s awful. It’s tired, badly fitted out, dingy and I hope never to stay here again. My room was down a corridor of *****ed (and stained) carpet that made me feel nauseous to look at. The room was ok, the bed comfortable, but more stained carpet, and lots of things didn’t work. Several light bulbs were broken, lots of curtain hooks missing, the room safe didn’t work, the bath had a rusty patch in it. The aircon was too cold for me and I followed the instructions to turn up the temperature but it didn’t warm up. Two phone calls and three hours later, someone attended my room, told me the air con wasn’t adjustable as it’s one temperature for the whole building so the instructions were incorrect. He turned it off (supposedly) and I then spent my stay with no aircon although the room was still cold and not stuffy and the control panel didn’t say ‘off’ so I think the whole thing was just BS and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with it or give me another room. Staff care factor of the attendant was zero, and of the front desk staff, close to zero. I got woken up in the early hours of the morning several times by skip bins being moved around in the laneway outside (very loud chains being dropped in the skip bins and noise reverberation). The next night the fridge started making such a loud noise in the middle of the night that I had to turn it off and use the spare towels to absorb the water as it defrosted. I’m just curious why Mercure keep this one running. Perhaps it’s set at a different price range but it’s not doing their brand any favours with two Mercure hotels so close together, especially with all the reviews mixed up.

BBenBenEl hotel esta en una buena locacion. Hay más de diez minutos a pie de la Terminal B y del supermercado, pero las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, como un hotel cápsula, Internet es muy lento y el estacionamiento cuesta 25 días al día, ¡lo cual es realmente caro!
