Camping le Soleil

We have been coming to this campsite for years and we love it but the last few years its facilities are getting worse. The showers, toilets and washing up areas are not as clean as usual and at the sanitary block near our van the cleaners didn’t really clean😱 they took everything of the menu except pizzas at the takeaway. Some of the water taps had been turned off or broken and although it was the low season le soleil state on their website that off season you get the same facilities

We love the camp, we stayed there for 2 weeks last year and 3 weeks this year. However, this year was terrible. 1/the beach door was broken, many ppl from outside of camp were inside camp, no one was checking bracelets 2/lots of stealing- 2 kids scooters, kids toys, a kit and cigarettes from outside table.reported to receptionist, who laughed at us, saying it is common. did not want to report to police even when we asked ! no compassion at all. 3/rude cleaning staff and receptionist- after 3 weeks of staying in the house, we paid for cleaning fee. even with that the rules stated we need to clean fridge, take out trash and wash , dry and put dishes away -we followed the rules did all that. when the cleaning lady came she ridiculed us, laughed, saying how dirty it was. we called reception, the reception lady came and said the cleaning lady is not a dog and we should have wiped the top of the table and hob (the hob was dusty as we did not use it at all as always spending money in the camp!!)- my husband had to clean it, it took literally 2 minutes. so they are willing to loose a client over a 2 min cleaning?! which was not even stated in the rules and which we paid for? we asked for the money back and they said no. No customer service at all. Nobody said thank you for coming again, how did yo like it - like you would expect at any tourist site. Instead we got abuse from the cleaning lady and receptionist when we left - and we have not broken one thing and cleaned whatever was in the rules. no respect at all. very sad as it is such a beautiful camping.

The good: 1. mobile home was stylish, modern, clean and the mattresses were comfortable enough 2. The pools were great, one for every age and the beach was nice too. I would say the place was great if your kids are under 11 3. Argeles isn't as near as we thought, but once there the beach cafes are great and the old town is also nice although quite a walk from the beach area 4. They put on different entertainment every night although we found it all a bit naff however the French families seemed to love it all The bad: 1. be very careful which mobile home you book - ours did not come with towels which we'd assumed would be there as standard! We had to use our beach towels after showering, yuk. No provision to rent them either. That's not my idea of a 5 star camping resort. The pillows were also awful. I had to put my bulkier clothes under my pillow to get the right support. 2. The reception staff did not know information I would have thought standard like the times of the local tourist train into Argeles. 3. There is a massive theme park and water park right under the resort and you can hear the noise every night. it's not too bad, but this isn't a quiet peaceful place to come 4. There are no sunloungers at the pool, just chairs or you lie on the fake grass 5. The onsite supermarket is limited and expensive and the nearest one off site is quite a way away so beware if you aren't coming with a car. Taxis were very expensive so we walked it but meant our meals were limited to what we could carry 6. There were only 5 hangers in our mobile home which was inadequate and you have to pay for sheets. Again not my idea of a 5 star resort. This should come as standard. You also have to clean the caravan properly on leaving! Mopping floors and wiping windows isn't my idea of a holiday but could have cost us 80 euros if we hadn't 7. If you are leaving via a taxi on check out please pre-book! We didn't know to do this and missed our booked train as a result

Stayed here for one week but greatly disappointed, expected a 5* Standard but this place is no more than a 3*, very rough campsite, the pathways to the mobile was very uneven, seen very small kids trip on more than one occasion. One restaurant where the food is good but very, very expensive. The pool was great and kids loved it and that's why I've given it 2* that's for the pool only. Having stayed in 5* eurocamp in Italy and Spain this was a huge disappointment and eurocamp inspectors need to review this camp. This is not just my opinion but of many irish and brits that we spoke to on our holiday, not what we expected at all.

Stayed for ten days after the pandemic two check up on our caravan in storage.what a fantastic welcome from everyone it was as if I had never been away. We are so looking forward to all of us returning on the 23 July for our annual five weeks 🥰🥰🥰this will be our 29 th stay in 36 years this we feel says volumes for the fantastic camping

Première fois pour nous avec notre fille de 18mois dans un mobile home pour 6 personnes. Literies petites et vétustes (a voir avec celui qui loue celui qu on avait n783) j’ai jamais aussi mal dormi !! Tout est bruyant, le sol, on a l’impression que qq1 marche sur le toit…. Et j’en passe. Trop de trottinettes qui roulent vite dans les allées… c est dangereux! Pataugeoires des enfants sales même à l’ouverture. Certains membres du personnel ne disent même pas bonjour quand on le croise… Les spectacles pour enfants sont bcp trop tard… La supérette est trop chère … Le snack est bien 👌🏼 Heureusement que nous avons eu un prix CE pour la semaine car payer 1500€ pour ça , non merci! Dans sa globalité , ce camping est quand meme bien équipé en loisirs, commerces,etc. C est dommage car le site donnait envie !

Notre emplacement était partiellement ombragé et grand comme nous l'avions demandé. Les sanitaire étaient propres, grande douche, eau chaude et pression au top. 2 problèmes en revanche, L'amplitude horaire du bar était doté de 14h à 19h et très souvent à 18h c'était fermé, pas de musique donc tout le monde donc pas d'ambiance c'est dommage ça donne pas envie d'y aller, nous avons fait des économies. Deuxième point noir plus ennuyeux, c'est ce système de réservation ou pour un emplacement même si on réserve nous devons arriver soit le mercredi soit le samedi quel dommage nous avons donc passé trois jours chez les concurrents qui d'ailleurs ont été complet alors que vous à notre arrivée c'était loin d'être le cas ! Et c'est pareil nous pouvions pas repartir le jour que l'on souhaitait donc beaucoup de contraintes alors qu'il s'agit pour rappel d'un emplacement et qu'il n'y a pas besoin de personnel pour faire quoi que ce soit. Avec votre système nous sommes donc restés 10 jours au lieu de 14 !

Suite au diagnostic de leucémie de mon père 2 jours avant le début du séjour, nous avons annulé. C'est un fait, je n'avais pas souscris d'assurance annulation car rien ne prédisait de problème particulier lors de la réservation et encore moins un cancer. Néanmoins compte tenu de la situation, je demande à la Direction un geste commercial uniquement pour mes parents au prorata du prix total de la location (soit 2/5). Voici la réponse de la Direction : "Nous comprenons et déplorons votre situation, toutefois votre annulation tardive ne nous a pas permis de relouer votre Mobil-Home." !!!! Je parle d'une personne à qui on a diagnostiqué un cancer du sang et la Direction me parle de relocation de mobil home ... Je vous laisse juger par vous même de l'état d'esprit et des valeurs portées par la Direction du camping !

super camping avec un espace adulte petite délicace au responsable du bar pour sa gentillesse et sont professionaliste un des meilleur camping que j'ai fait (snak et restaurent au top) camping super propre seul bel mol la literie (prestataire 4 etoiles) nous avons ete ravie de notre sejour nous reviendrons. je recommande a 100%.
