+: Hotel muy bonito, habitación muy grande con pequeña mesa al aire libre en un ambiente tranquilo y relajante. Cama grande y cómoda, muy limpia. Nuevo y excelente spa. Se proporcionan accesorios de belleza/higiene.
-: En recepción, lenguaje familiar de la recepcionista "¡espera que llamo a Lolo!". Asimismo, no se cumplió la promesa de la recepcionista de retirar la cama sobrante de nuestra habitación. Olvidé las batas para el spa, no me disculpo desde la recepción. No avisa que el hammam está roto. A su llegada no hay instrucciones sobre cómo moverse por este gran hotel o incluso cómo vaciar el coche, siempre teniendo que ir a recepción para obtener información básica.

Stayed here before, always in the old building. This time we were in the adjacent newer building that was not specified, this room did not deserve the 5* rating, 3* at best if the spa was open. It was dirty and tired, very 90’s style. Air conditioning broken. Spa was shut which was a big reason to return with our young daughter.

ATTENTION AUX ALLERGIQUES !!!!!! Après plusieurs rdv avec la commerciale qui n'avait pas pris en compte ma demande sur le 1er devis nous mettons un autre menu adapté. Mais quelle n'a été notre surprise le jour J , Aucune information n'a été transmise en cuisine !!!! Inaceptable et TRES GRAVE !!!l Commerciale incompétante!!!! Pas digne d'un 5étoiles !!! De plus on nous a prévenu la veille pour le lendemain que la salle que nous avions louée n'était pas libre !!!! ( occupée j'ai ouie dire par la famille du directeur !!!!!) Incroyable ! Etablissement à Fuir absolument !!!

The property is outside Pau central and although the grounds are very grand, it’s all a bit tired. Found the staff friendly and the food pretty good but really not what I’d expect from a five star hotel. When we arrived it was extremely hot and a room with air conditioning was vital which we were pleased to have been allocated. The bedroom was adequate, clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel whilst visiting Pau. Highly recommend their restaurant and the views are stunning, across the town to the Pyrennes. Short drive or few km walk into main town

Wonderful grand hotel, located in a fashionable neighborhood. Spacious rooms, large garden with lawns and a swimming pool. My room had a balcony overlooking the gardens and out to the Pyranees. Ten minute drive to the Pau Golf Club. Avoid the restaurant. The food was terrible.

Really regretted this hotel booking. 4 of us were on a motorbike trip through Europe and thought this place looked great in the photos. Sadly the "photos" was a good as it got. No one at the hotel speaks a word of English and every question / query we had ended up through Google translate on our phones. My room (Room 3) in the main house was a complete sweat box and unbearable. No Air-Conditioning in the room resulted in me having to head down to reception at 1:30am where I stole the front desk's fan to take back to my room to have any chance of getting to sleep. The food in the restaurant was ok, but nothing more than that. The "Spa" was poor and it smells really bad. The indoor pool down in the Cellar had no staff present and no towels or robes to use and the roof down there is held up by black mould.... we all really wished we'd found somewhere else to stay and won't be going back.

Superb staff who were able to accommodate all our needs. That included finding a way to allow us to stay two additional nights in our fantastic room even though the hotel was full. The food and service in restaurant was outstanding.
