I arri ed in Nepal when the event ended so that we could have a week to ourselves, and she had enjoyed the accommodations so much that we cancelled our other plans to stay here. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and modern, with a tranquil courtyard where one can enjoy meals or just sit quietly. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. The restaurant is excellent, with great food and staff. The location is very convenient and a 3 minute walk to the Patan Darbar Square. We recommend this to anyone needing a welcoming and comfortable place to stay in Lalitpur."

La segunda ronda fue una caminata de fotografía con un fotógrafo local que capturaba parte de la magia de la plaza Bouda en la lluvia, seguida de un tiempo paseando por la plaza Patan y las calles laterales alrededor."

"First and foremost the name itself is worng!! Hotel Goodwill. Turns out to be Badwill!! We checked may be around 3pm and due to some booking issue from the hotel we were made to wait in the check in area for more than half an hour and the reception guy gave us apology drink for us which was kind of him… The rooms we checked the floor was dirty full of dust,women hair and there was a 2 sharp pins attached to a small wood literally placed at the bottom of the bed..📌📌 The rooms were not spacious as per shown in the official website!! The condition of the the floors was as if it was cleaned several months ago or maybe more than a year!! In the evening we ordered our meal and it was closing time of the hotel but we were told that you can order your meal and there is NO PROBLEM…We told the hotel staff that we will dine in front of the hotel room and we received our evening meal as per our orders and the additional meal we asked to the staff was so late and there was not even a proper lighting for us to serve the food as if were eating under a load shedding schedule..We even asked for the light to be turned on but they just ignored.The additional amount of food that we asked for was brought by the staff was more than 15 minutes later and there was only rice and we were informed that the rest of the items were finished😶😶We requested them for little lentils since the only rice is unacceptable to consume and the order was again late like more than 10 minutes..It was more of a HUMILIATION being a guest but the hall staff was hard working but the management was way too poor and the food service was so bad that we were totally shocked!! The amount we paid and the service we received was awful😖😖 This will be our last stay in this so called goodhell hotel… Learn the word HOSPITALITY first!!"

"The overall environment of this resort is quite pleasant, and the large green open space is its main attraction. The staff are generally polite and well-mannered. However, the management seems extremely poor. 1. The rooms are very old and poorly maintained. 2. There’s a strong smell of mold in the rooms. Despite being labeled as non-smoking rooms, most of them reek of cigarette smoke, making it uncomfortable to stay. Even after complaining and getting a room change, all the available rooms had similar issues — mold, smoke, and overpowering air freshener smells. 3. Though there is a telephone in the room, it doesn’t work. When calling the hotel’s number from a mobile phone, they rarely answer. For any help, you have to walk all the way to reception. There’s practically no in-room communication system. The Wi-Fi exists only in name — it doesn’t work. 4. It seems the management has no proper training regarding cleanliness and hygiene. The staff are trying their best, but without adequate tools and supplies, they can only do so much. 5. Basic items were provided in the room, but they were unclean. For example, the electric kettle had limescale buildup (photo attached). 6. The restaurant menu and the food served are totally mismatched. The quality and taste don’t justify even half the price. The breakfast had very limited options. 7. Guests are likely to feel deceived after arriving, judging by the attractive exterior and online ads. The management doesn’t take complaints seriously. If you’re thinking of visiting based on reviews or online promotion, it’s better not to. Most reviews about this resort are negative, and there’s no sign of improvement. It feels like this place is run by people with no idea about the hospitality business. 8. Billing seems to depend on whether or not the guest asks for it. If you don’t ask, you might not get a bill at all. When we requested one, we were told the system was down and to collect it later. But even at checkout, no bill was provided. To conclude, the resort’s advertisements are misleading and feel like a scam. Please don’t fall for them. It’s fine to visit during the day to enjoy the greenery and surroundings — but if you’re planning to stay overnight, be ready to be disappointed. Thank you."

"This newly opened hotel has an extremely pungent smell from the renovations. I woke up with a headache the whole day after one night's sleep. If it weren't for the "Sad Guru" event, there wouldn't have been so many reservations. The room I was given was a connecting room, the kind you can open the door to the next room from your room, but that wasn't mentioned when booking. I contacted the front desk, and they had a regular room. They tried to change it for me, but it took very late. I tried to check out due to the pungent smell, but the locals didn't think it was a problem and refused to let me leave. There was another power outage in the middle of the night. They shouldn't be opening so early and using customers as guinea pigs, charging the full price of 890, not including breakfast. The worst part is the pungent smell; it's incredibly harmful. I recommend staying at this hotel again in a year. P.S. The Ctrip staff coordinated a 300 yuan refund. I'm impressed with the Ctrip platform. If you have any inconveniences while abroad, you can always ask Ctrip to resolve them. They're generally very considerate of their customers."

"A Perfect Home Away From Home! We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Mandevilla Home in Lalitpur and cannot recommend it enough! The Location: Tucked away in a peaceful, quiet residential area, yet incredibly convenient. Shops and great restaurants are just a short, easy walk away. The Apartment: Exceptionally spacious! It was wonderful having a separate bedroom, a comfortable living room, and a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. The Hospitality: The owner was incredibly kind and thoughtful, even delivering a delicious breakfast straight to our apartment. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Kathmandu!"
