Our stay here was excellent! We decided to book this accomodation based on the other reviews, and it was even more wonderful than we thought! This is a home stay, and it was great to meet the family and speak with them. It is very close to the old city attractions, which made it so easy to walk to them. The family were lovely to us during our stay. The breakfast was extra special as our host made sure that we tried an array of dishes, and he even went out of his way to go to the market to get ingredients to prepare our breakfast. It was really lovely to go on the walking tour, we went to the summer palace and got to learn a lot about Uzbek culture during the tour. We chose to do a plov making class with the family as well, and it was the most delicious meal we had during the trip, and we really enjoyed learning how to make the dish and getting to know the family some more This stay was excellent and made us really love Bukhara, we highly recommend staying here!

Очень хороший семейный гостевой дом. Нам все понравилось. Расположение- удобное, до сердца старого города минут 5 пешком. Сам номер простой, но очень чистый, кровати удобные. Хозяин доброжелательный, позволил остаться на пару часов подольше в день выселения. За это большое спасибо. Заселялись наугад и срочно, так как не понравилось расположение предыдущего отеля- а тут был единственный отзыв. Хочу добавить фотографии и отзыв, чтобы больше людей узнали о таком замечательном месте.

This hotel is so nice. I am a picky person when it comes to cleanness but their bathroom is really clean so I am not worried staying there. The staffs are so nice and friendly, I had my train at 3:00am so I did not book for another night but waited in the hall. They offered me a free night to rest before my train. They also prepared tea, fruits for me as late night snacks. The staff took my luggage out to put in the car for me. The location is perfect. It took 25-30 mins walk to Poyi Kalon and 10 mins to Choir minor. Really close to everything

El hotel era muy agradable. La habitación es pequeña, por supuesto, pero su ubicación y su relación precio/calidad compensarán todo. Los huéspedes divertidos. Todo lo que se dijo, respondió a todas las preguntas. Localización del hotel justo en la antigua ciudad. Todo está a pie. Si vuelvo a Bucarest, sólo a este hotel!

Hoteles muy limpios, habitaciones amplias, balcón muy grande y servicio bueno. El desayuno es bueno, hay muchas especies. Una pequeña distancia de la antigua ciudad, caminando por unos 15 minutos. En general, vale la pena quedarse en el lugar.

Hoteles en el nivel superior! La habitación es limpia, con todo lo necesario! Situación muy conveniente, todas las vistas en acceso paso a paso, literalmente 10 minutos a pie. Los desayunos son deliciosos! Son muy satisfechos!

Location-wise, the hotel is not in the city center, but that’s not a big issue in Bukhara, the city is small and a taxi ride of around 10–15 minutes gets you anywhere. However, there is a construction site right next to the hotel. Work starts early in the morning, if you’re planning a trip anytime soon, I would not recommend staying here due to the noise . And the breakfast is quite disappointing. Most importantly, the hygiene standard was concerning. The toilet paper provided in our room appeared to be visibly stained.

I chose to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had positive reviews by Trip members and it had an outdoor swimming pool. It was also great value for money for solo travellers. I arrived early than expected at check in and staff were ready to greet me! Wonderful reception staff! The hotel was bigger than expected and the reception area was very modern and clean with nicely decorated interior. I was shown to my room which was on the second floor. I stayed in a single persons room 205. It was bigger than expected with a big bathroom. There were extras like a bath, comfy chairs to chill. I had a fridge, kettle and a full size mirror. I like a full size mirror. The room also had air conditioning which was very good and very quiet. I had a view of the front of the hotel from my window that was pleasant. My room smelled very pleasant and was a non smoking room. My bed was very comfortable for my back. Breakfast was a buffet with a lot of Uzbekistan food which I had never tried before. It was a very busy breakfast area. There was a big range of different foods including fruits and cheeses. I liked the spinach parcels they were very tasty. A lot of the food was homemade. I thought it was delicious. There are a range of buses that offer great service to solo travellers arriving on the train. I caught a Marshuktra from the train station number 378. The Marshuktra dropped me at the bus stop on the road for No 1 bus that stops right outside the hotel. You can also take bus 7/33 All very easy and cheaper than a taxi. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because it has a very nice swimming pool that I used in the afternoon after a long morning sight seeing. I would highly recommend visiting Sitorai Mohi Hosa which is a short distance from the hotel and you can take bus 7/33 or walk. It’s an amazing visit if you are interested in art, culture and architecture. The hotel is very convenient for solo travellers who are a bit too old for Hostels! And like a cold swim after a long day sightseeing without breaking the piggy bank! The first pictures are of my hotel room and the front on the hotel. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas. One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day. Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination. Overall, my stay at Boutique Old City exceeded expectations. It combines excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation in a way that truly enhances the travel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the old city.
