Thanks to their reception staff who are generous to allow early check in. We enjoy to stay here because the location is near to market and restaurants.

Worth for the money as a budget hotel.Friendly staff.Got lift.Near attraction place.Many restaurant and food court around the hotel.On Friday and Saturday got night market (chestar night market) distance 100 meter from the hotel.The problem is no car parking lot provided.But can park along the street behind the hotel building under own responsibility.

En general, para una estancia de una noche, le doy un 6/10. El personal es amable, la ubicación es estratégica (en el centro de la ciudad) y el desayuno está bien. El hotel es viejo y está deteriorado. Aquí hay algunas razones: 1. Al entrar en la habitación, nos recibió un fuerte olor a moho. Le pusieron ambientador al aire acondicionado, pero aun así, el olor a moho es fuerte. Incluso la silla está mohosa 🥲 2. El aire acondicionado está mohoso. Se apaga automáticamente cada pocas horas (intenté apagar el temporizador, pero algunos botones del control remoto no funcionan). Puse la temperatura a 16 °C, pero se siente como si fuera de 24 °C. 3. La luz frontal cerca de la puerta no funciona. 4. El control remoto del televisor tampoco funciona; ni siquiera puedo cambiar de canal ni ajustar el volumen. 5. La manguera del inodoro está rota. 6. El suelo del inodoro está muy resbaladizo; no sé si es por el jabón o el aceite.

Overall, the location of Hotel Emas Tawau is its biggest advantage, especially if you have business at Hospital Tawau as it’s just a short distance away. There are also plenty of shops and eateries nearby, making it convenient. Unfortunately, my stay was let down by the room’s condition. The bathroom ceiling had visible mold, which was quite unpleasant. The bathroom tap was also leaking, which should be repaired. I was also surprised to find a lizard in the room, which affected the overall cleanliness experience. Service could be improved as well. I requested bottled water, but was told to wait for room service, even though it seemed like they could have provided it directly. A simple request like this could have been handled more efficiently.

Booked for 6 nights. The hotel is generally presentable with front reception operating till late. There is a lift which is helpful in moving luggage. The hotel provides free Wifi, room service replaces drinking water bottles everyday. Toothbrush and tooth paste are supplied which is convenient. The room is generally comfortable with air conditioning working fine. Location is very convenient as it is within walking distance to Kubota Square Central. There are many shops, restaurants, pharmacies. Can be better if cleaning can be done more thoroughly on bathroom (corner, soap scum on shower glass) and room wall (dust), the chair in the room needs replacement as it was stained with paint. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay.

The cheapest hotel we found in Tawau for these past few days. But need to be alert, no lift provided, need to use stairs. Selalu kena raid dengan jabatan agama ya guys.

Best hotel i ever had. Reasonable price. They were friendly and even lent me their charger when i need it. For girls that need iron, they also provide that. No meal provided but overall is good. Will repeat it again
