I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pangkor Pop Ash Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful, making me feel truly welcome. The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from Pasir Bogak Beach, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, which made everything very convenient. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the strong air-conditioning, comfortable bed, and the overall cleanliness of the space. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and the peaceful environment—it’s a great place to relax and unwind. Even though it’s a budget-friendly hotel, the quality of service and comfort exceeded my expectations. We had an unpleasant experience at this hotel. We booked a 2-night stay, and upon arrival, the receptionist assigned us a room on Level 1. However, we soon discovered that the door lock was faulty and could not be secured. We requested a room change, which the receptionist approved, and we were moved to a room on Level 2. The first night was fine, but on the second night, the air conditioning stopped working, leaving us in an uncomfortably hot room. When I informed the receptionist, she stated that all rooms were fully booked, despite a higher-priced room still being available. At 4 a.m., I could no longer endure the heat and insisted on a solution. Eventually, at 6 a.m., we were moved to the higher-priced room on Level 1.
